THE KIND OF GUY
(squid game edition) nsfw
English
Korean
Thanos / Player 230
—THANOS IS THE KIND OF GUY who’d shamelessly flirt with you, his words dripping with confidence and charm. He’d slip in Spanish pet names like "señorita" so naturally, it was as if he were born to sweep you off your feet.
There was one day when he suddenly dropped to his knees, a smirk dancing on his lips as he grabbed your hand gently. "I might just start my own religion, because of how often I find myself on my knees for you." He said as he brought your hand to his lips and kissed it, his gaze never leaving yours. You felt your face heat up, a soft blush spreading across your cheeks at the boldness of his actions.
He’d also call you every sweet name in the book—"baby," "angel," "princess," "beautiful"—each one rolling off his tongue with effortless confidence. And if that weren’t enough, he’d take it a step further, rapping his feelings for you in a way that was both cheesy and undeniably endearing.
—He’s the kind of guy who’d have a slow-burn romance without even realizing it. At first, it’s nothing more than casual interactions, small moments here and there. He doesn’t notice the shift—how his thoughts linger on you longer than they should, how he starts to care just a little bit more. It’s gradual, almost imperceptible, until one random moment hits him. Like it would suddenly click that he likes you. And now, he can’t stop thinking about it.
—He’s the kind of guy who wouldn’t give up on you, no matter how many times you ignored him. Your cold shoulder, your silence—it didn’t faze him. If anything, it only fueled his determination. He’d chase after you relentlessly, his confidence unwavering, his charm impossible to ignore, until you had no choice but to face him.
He spotted you weaving through the crowd, your determined strides screaming leave me alone. Naturally, that only made his grin wider. He adjusted his jacket, his confidence as unshakable as ever, and started after you.
"Señorita!" he called out, you didn’t even glance back at him, but when he saw your pace quicken, it only fueled his determination. He caught up easily, walking alongside you like he belonged there.
"Ah, playing hard to get? I like that," he teased, tilting his head to glance at you with that infuriatingly smug smile. "But you know, you make it way too easy for me to chase you baby. You’re irresistible."
You rolled your eyes and turned sharply, hoping to lose him in the crowd. But the next corner you turned, there he was—leaning casually against a wall, arms crossed, like he’d been waiting there all along.
"Miss me already?" he teased with a smirk, his body blocking your path. "You can run, but you can't hide princess. Not from me."
You tried to sidestep him, but before you could get far, he placed a hand dramatically over his heart, feigning hurt. "Ouch, breaking my heart like that? Really?"
You scoffed, rolling your eyes in disbelief. "Just stop, I can’t stand you."
With a smirk that practically oozed confidence, he leaned in slightly, his voice teasing yet bold. "Then just sit on my face."
"W-what!?" You froze, eyes wide with shock, your heart pounding. "Just fuck off!" you snapped, brushing past him quickly, your face flushed in a mix of embarrassment and irritation.
He chuckled, watching you retreat with that same infuriating smirk. But you knew, as much as you tried to get away, he wouldn’t stop. He was persistent, and no matter how many times you brushed him off, he’d keep following, keep bothering you.
—He’s the kind of guy who wouldn’t tolerate some random guy flirting with you. If he saw it happening, he wouldn’t hesitate to step in. He’d interrupt the conversation, push the guy back with a forceful shove, and growl, "Back off man! Who the fuck do you think you are hitting on my girl!?" (Yeah even tho you're not his yet)
If the guy was making you laugh or smile, he’d simmer in silence, his jealousy simmering beneath the surface. Once the guy was alone, he’d track him down, corner him, and with a dangerous edge to his voice, he’d lean in, his eyes burning with fury.
"Stay the fuck away from Y/n. Got it?" He said, his fist landing a brutal punch to the guy’s stomach, leaving him crumpled on the floor. "She’s my girl," he’d add, his tone low and possessive. "My woman."
—He’s the kind of guy who can’t help but yell, "Ah, there’s my girl!" with a huge grin spreading across his face when you made it out alive. Without a second thought, he’d rush to you, scoop you up in a tight embrace, and hold you like he’d never let go. "I’m so happy you're alive, baby. God, you don’t know how much I missed you." His grip would tighten as if to never let you slip away again.
—He’s the kind of guy who isn’t intimidated by you. He’ll rush toward you, full of energy, relieved that you made it through when the lights went out. While everyone else stood frozen in fear, staring in shock, you were casually wiping blood off your hands, having taken down a whole group without breaking a sweat.
—He’s the kind of guy who can’t believe he’s dating you after you finally accepted him. Like, a guy like him? Sure, he’s Thanos and pretty damn cool, but damn, you’re way cooler than him. So, every now and then, he’ll just blurt out, “Damn, I’m dating her?” when he thinks about you, or “I can’t believe she’s mine.” and his friend will just stare at him, completely weirded out.
—He's the kind of guy who's wildly in love with you, the type to fight a wild animal just to impress you. He lives to make you laugh, even if it means pulling off the dumbest, most ridiculous stunts. His love is chaotic, loud, and endlessly entertaining, but that's what makes it so unforgettable.
One day he tried to bake you a cake from scratch, only to set off the smoke alarm—but he still proudly presented you with the lopsided, half-burnt result, claiming it was "made with love." Or he'd show up at your door with a bouquet made of random wildflowers (and weeds), proudly declaring it’s “nature’s finest” while grinning like a fool.
—He’s the kind of guy who would let you paint his nails in any color you choose or decorate them however you like, all because he loves you and wants you to have that little piece of him.
—Thanos is the kind of guy who always needs to be in physical contact with you when you're together—his hand on your thigh, his arm around your shoulders. He craves that connection, that constant reassurance of your presence. Public displays of affection? He couldn’t care less. If you want him to kiss you in front of everyone, consider it done. If you mention he can kiss you after a game, why would he wait for privacy when he can claim you right in front of his friends? For him, it’s not just about the kiss—it’s about showing the world that you’re his and making sure you feel adored, no matter where you are.
—He’s the kind of guy who’s utterly captivated by your thighs, completely addicted to the way they feel wrapped around him. There’s nowhere else he’d rather be, no place more intoxicating than being suffocated by your softness.
He doesn’t just admire them—he worships them. His lips leave a trail of love marks along your skin, his way of claiming every inch as his own. Between kisses, his voice comes out low and teasing, filled with desire. (He also loves eating you out while you're wrapping your thighs around his head and getting suffocated by it. )
—He’s the kind of guy who would cover you in hickeys, leaving them all over your neck and thighs, a clear sign that you’ve been claimed and are already his. With a smirk, he’d tell you he’s just marking his priority, as if every mark is a reminder of who you belong to.
—He’s the kind of guy who’d proudly show you off to his friends with a grin and say, “Yeah, this my girl right here.” And damn, he wouldn’t just say it—he’d feel like the luckiest guy alive to have you by his side.
—He’s the kind of guy who doesn’t just take you—he claims you. If he ever finds out you're with someone else, he'll make sure you remember exactly who you belong to.
Thanos' rough words dripped with condescension as he gripped your hips, pulling you onto his thick shaft in one brutal thrust. You cried out, your nails digging into his shoulders as he began to pound into your mercilessly. "You're fucking mine, this fucking tight pussy is mine," he snarled, his balls slapping against your ass with each savage stroke. "This fat cock is the only thing you need. That pathetic loser can't touch this, can he?" He reached down to rub you clit, his fingers pinching the sensitive bud as he continued to ravage you. "Hngg!...—pls s'too much! too much! Thanos m'sorry p-please I w-won't do it again."
"Stop?" He chuckled, "We both know you love this. Being used like a cheap whore, stuffed full of dick. Admit it, you'd rather choke on my cum than go back to that limp-dicked loser."
—Hes the kind of guy who loves messy blow jobs. The sight of your lips stretched obscenely around his throbbing cock, your eyes glazed over in blissful submission, he fucking loves it. Loves how you surrendered completely, letting him control every movement as he fucks your mouth.
"Fuck... Your throat was made for my dick, wasn't it? Such a perfect fit, like you were born to worship my cock." he moaned, tangling his fingers in your hair and using your mouth like a cheap fleshlight as he chased his pleasure. The wet sounds of sloppy oral sex filled the air, punctuated by your muffled whimpers and gurgles. (Gosh he fucking loves that) "Fuck yes... hngg—take it baby, take it all, you filthy little cumdump!" His hips snapped forward, burying his cock to the hilt in your gullet while thick ropes of cum spilled in your mouth, forcing you to gag and sputter around his girth. "Look at you, such a good girl, gagging on my dick like it's your purpose in life. You were meant to be a cumdump, weren't you? Fucking slut."
—He's the kind of guy who loses his shit when you squirt into his mouth, he just fucking loves it when you're flooding his mouth with your ambrosial release. Saying "Holy shit," "I love you so fucking much baby," "Mmmm, you're fucking addictive as hell, baby. Can't get enough of this sweet juices." as he greedily laps up every drop. Just the taste of your squirting orgasm would send him into a fucking frenzy.
—He's the kind of guy who takes you apart piece by piece every time he gets you alone, his usual cruel exterior dissolving into raw, unbridled need. He doesn't just touch you—he worships you, his mouth and hands working in perfect harmony to draw out every moan, every shiver, every scream he can pull from you.
"You’re so fucking beautiful when you cum for me," he'd say, his voice dripping with hunger as his fingers curl inside you, hitting that perfect spot over and over again. His lips never leave your skin, trailing kisses and bites down your thighs, across your stomach, up to your neck.
"Look at you, spread open and dripping for me like the filthy little slut you are," he taunted, dragging a finger through your slick folds. "I bet all those prissy boys never made you feel this good, did they? They probably couldn't handle a real woman like you." he whispers, his breath hot against your ear as your body writhes beneath him. Even when your legs shake and your cries turn into breathless pleas, he doesn’t stop. He keeps you teetering on the edge, drawing out orgasm after orgasm until you’re left trembling, completely undone, and utterly his.

Could you store something with jun-hee (player 222) x f!reader plz🙏
Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby
summary - it may sound a bit cliché, but you were in love with your best friend. even though you always wanted to tell her, you strongly doubted that she could use your love - you didn't know that she thought the same. you two were really stupid, huh?
pairing: kim jun-hee x fem. reader
word count: 1.1k
contains: wlw, angst w/ comfort, arguing, fluff, pre squid game au, hidden feelings
a/n: i went to a cas concert a few months ago and it was insane. this was the song that just stuck with me since then and i thought about her when i listened to it again after watching the show! hope u like it ;p
"Oh man, they forgot our spring rolls." you realized disappointed after you went through each package of food one by one until there was nothing left but napkins in the bag. You looked at your best friend as you said. "Should I go to the store and get them? I know how much you like them, and I think the owner likes me, who knows, maybe we'll get an extra portion or something, huh?"
Jun-hee just shook her head with a gentle smile on her face. "That's all right. I want to eat with you and by the time you come back, the food will be all cold and mushy." she said, reaching for the chopsticks after opening her box of fried noodles.
You sat down on the opposite chair of your little dining table in your small kitchen. "I guess, I can't argue with that." you gave in and reached for a spoon to mix your fried rice a little.
You had turned on the radio a while ago and the music it was playing accompanied the pleasant silence between the two of you. You could hardly stop yourself from thinking about how homely this all felt right now with her, as you often did in the last few days. It was sudden and you were definitely caught off guard when Jun-hee suddenly appeared at your doorstep with a packed bag in tow. You didn't know exactly what happened, but you didn't need to because you could imagine that it probably had something to do with her parents or something - it didn't matter. She would tell you when she was ready.
"I heard that this one popular show is getting a second season soon, you know..." you started to tell her and then tried to think of the title when you suddenly heard a soft howl. You immediately stood up when you saw Jun-hee sitting huddled up with her arms covering her face. "Hey, what's wrong..." you asked worriedly, not used to such an emotional reaction from her since she was usually such a collected person. This was a very rare occurrence.
She interrupted you before you could say anything else. "I'm pregnant!" she cried out, feeling the lingering guilt inside her finally take over her entire mind as she uttered those words. A few minutes passed with you just holding her like that and Jun-hee clung tightly to you, sobbing. She was worried that you might let her go - in fact, she expected you to, which is why she didn't tell you for so long.
I can't blame her for anything, I really am the worst. She thought to herself when she still couldn't bring herself to let go. No matter how selfish it might be of her.
"Is it from that Mingyu guy?" you finally asked her and she nodded vaguely, but it was enough for you to understand. Jun-hee didn't even bother to correct you when you said his name wrong.
You just sighed and even if you didn't say it out loud, she could feel how angry you were with her - how disappointed. "You're mad at me," she stated while you continued to stroke her back reassuringly, even when the position you were holding her in was a little uncomfortable for you. "Of course I am, the guy's an asshole and you're only in your early twenties," you answered her honestly, comforting her with your own broken heart. "Does he even know? Last I heard, all his fans were sending him death threats because he stole their money or something."
She didn't even want to think about it. "He's not answering my calls and I have no idea where he is."
You let out another heavy sigh. "You're really stupid sweetie, I knew that guy was like this from the beginning, really," you spoke up before looking confusedly at Jun-hee after she lifted her head from your chest and met your gaze with a furrowed brow. "Can you stop rubbing it in my face? I already know that I fucked up!" she exclaimed, completely exhausted as she continued to rub her reddened eyes.
So she wants to keep the baby, her parents probably kicked her out as soon as they found out. You massaged your forehead, exhausted. "So, what now?" you just asked her, elaborating on your question when she looked at you with a confused look. You just wanted to kiss her right now and tell her that everything would be okay again and at the same time, you wanted to smash your head through a wall and cry. "What are you going to do now with a baby on the way? Do you have a plan for how you're going to look after it?"
I don't have a job or any money. I don't know what to do. She didn't answer you right away and just avoided your gaze, embarrassed, so you reached for her hand to get her attention. "If you don't know what to do and you want me to help you, then you have to tell me," you finally said and you were probably the stupid one this time.
Jun-hee looked at you in surprise and took a few seconds to really understand what you meant. "Are you sure? You don't have to do something like that for me..."
You interrupted her relatively quickly. "I want to do this for you because -" and your love confession was almost half hanging from your lips when you stopped yourself from saying it out loud in the last second. What am I doing? This is completely the wrong time for this. "- because you can always count on me, even if no one else does."
Oh, that's right. Jun-hee thought to herself as she held her pounding heart and smiled a little forcedly. I thought she was going to say something else, how stupid of me I mean you're pregnant with another man's child right now Jun-hee, wake up. She brought herself back down to earth. You already gave her more than enough. "Please, help me."
You spread your arms out again to catch her in a hug. "We'll work it out, don't worry..." you tried to reassure her further, any unspoken feelings remaining as you both made the decision to keep them a secret.

AGAINST THE TIDE: PART FIVE
paige x azzi
word count: 8k
A/N: Alrighttyy here’s the next chapter as promised. I am so sorry in advance for the beginning it was needed for the plot and I’ve kinda been following the accuracy of their season 😔. I swear I make up for it by the end of the chapter so you guys won’t hate me. They’re taking steps that’s all I’ll say 🙂↕️
—————————————————————————
December 2021 - Connecticut
The next two weeks were a noticeable shift for both Paige and Azzi. With Azzi sidelined by her foot injury, Paige took it as an opportunity to grow closer to her outside of basketball, though it often came with a bit of dramatic flair. Paige would still FaceTime Azzi at all hours of the night, her voice playful but a little over the top as she begged, "Please come to the gym, it’s so boring without you." Each call, Paige would act like the gym now felt empty without Azzi as she showed her on the camera, exaggerating how she couldn’t get anything done without her presence.
Azzi, pretending to be annoyed, would respond with something like, “You’re dramatic, Paige,” but there was always a smile hidden behind her words. She’d act like she wasn’t going to answer, rolling her eyes at the screen, but it never took long before she found herself grabbing her shoes and dragging herself over to keep Paige company.
Sometimes, she’d help her shoot around or go through drills, other times they would just sit, talking about everything and nothing at all. Paige loved to come up with silly games to pass the time, and Azzi would play along, even if her foot wasn't fully healed. It wasn’t that Azzi didn’t mind taking it easy for a while; in fact, being with Paige made it a lot easier to forget the frustration of sitting out. There was something about Paige’s energy that kept her entertained, and it made the quiet moments in between practice feel a lot less lonely.
The rest of the team noticed Paige’s shift too, though they didn’t mention it directly not wanting to mess anything up. While Paige had always been intense and all about basketball, now there was a certain lightness in her. She was taking care of herself more—spending time with Azzi, relaxing instead of overworking. She had found a balance she hadn’t had before, and it didn’t go unnoticed by everyone.
…
The clock was ticking down, and UConn was firmly in control of the game against Notre Dame, leading 73-54. The tension in the air had long lifted as the final seconds of the game wound down. Paige was dribbling the ball up the court, her focus on running out the clock. But suddenly, as her left foot hit the floor, there was a sharp stumble, and her knee buckled in a way that sent a jolt of concern through the entire arena.
Pain flashed across Paige’s face, and despite her obvious discomfort, she kept dribbling, fighting to push through it. She passed the ball to Caroline, her right leg taking the brunt of the movement as she hopped on it, trying to stay upright. With every move, her limp grew more pronounced before Paige fell just in front of the UConn bench, clutching her left leg as she hit the hardwood floor hiding her face from view.
Azzi’s stomach dropped at the sight, her eyes widening in shock. It felt like the world around her paused, the entire arena quitting as her focus narrowed only to Paige. The gym’s noise fading as she heard nothing but her heart racing.
Geno immediately called a timeout, signaling for the trainers to rush over. Azzi’s breath hitched, her legs frozen in place as her gaze remained locked on Paige, the moment causing her chest to tighten slightly. Her mind was racing, wondering what had happened, how bad it was. She was on her feet in an instant, but the trainers were already around Paige, and Azzi hesitated, not wanting to crowd them. Why did she feel like this? She had seen plenty of teammates get injured before and she was fine but right now she felt sick to her stomach.
The trainers were around Paige, speaking to her softly, trying to calm her down as her breathing was uneven. But Paige’s face was twisted in clear discomfort as she kept repeating, "My knee," her voice shaky and urgent. Azzi's gaze didn’t leave her, watching even as Evina and Amari gently lifted Paige, one on each side, helping her off the court and to the end of the bench where the trainers could work on her.
Azzi stayed back, knowing she couldn’t talk to her yet. She had to wait until the game was officially over. Her mind kept replaying the moment Paige fell, and the worry was gnawing at her. Her stomach was in knots, but she knew better than to add to the chaos.
The final buzzer sounded, and the team went through the usual handshakes with Notre Dame, but everyone’s mind was far from the celebrations. Azzi’s eyes constantly flicked over to the bench, still keeping an eye on Paige as the trainers helped her up.
Paige limped toward the locker room with the help of the trainers, frustration and pain evident on her face. She was clearly trying to fight it, to stay composed, but her limping gait told the story. Azzi could feel her chest tightening again as she followed her into the locker room.
Once inside, Paige reached for her jersey, pulling it off roughly in frustration, and tossed it across the room not caring where it landed. Azzi could see the discomfort written all over Paige’s face, her frustration clear to everyone as she threw the piece of clothing away.
Evina, not knowing what else to do but be the leader she always has, stepped in with a scolding tone. "Paige, you know that’s not how we do things here," she said sternly, her voice filled with authority though there was a hint of uncertainty this time.
Azzi, however, knew that wouldn’t make anything better. So she moved closer, stepping in between Paige and Evina, her voice softer but firm. "She has to get it out, E. You gotta let her.”
Evina paused, glancing between Azzi and Paige. She looked like she wanted to argue but finally sighed, understanding. She nodded and stepped back, giving Paige the space she needed to process everything that just happened. Azzi knelt beside her, her voice low but filled with concern. "You okay?" she asked, her hand gently resting on Paige’s knee, though she wasn’t sure if it was the right thing to do. But she couldn’t stand seeing Paige like this—frustrated, in pain, and clearly overwhelmed.
Paige didn’t respond immediately, but her shoulders slumped slightly as if the weight of the situation had finally caught up with her. Her eyes welled up with tears, and her body trembled as she whispered, "I think it’s broken, Azzi." Her voice was small, barely audible, but the fear in it was unmistakable. "I heard it crack... pop... I don’t know... it hurts like hell."
As the words left her mouth, the tears started to fall, and her shoulders shook. Azzi immediately moved closer, her arms wrapping around Paige, pulling her into a comforting embrace. The hug was a little stiff at first, the two of them never being this close in this kind of situation. But eventually Paige sunk into Azzi’ chest trying to let the younger girl soothe her as she continued to cry. Azzi didn’t say anything at first—she didn’t need to. The team, watching silently from a distance, could only stand by, understanding the gravity of the moment. Everyone knew how much this game and the season meant to Paige. To see her like this, in pain, and terrified was something none of them had even thought to prepare for.
Azzi kept her hold on Paige, gently rubbing her back, whispering soft words of reassurance. "You’re gonna be okay, Paige," she murmured, her voice steady and calming. "We’ll figure this out. It’s going to be okay."
The sound of the door opening cut through the tension, Geno entered, his presence commanding the room. He didn’t waste any time on post-game talk, his focus solely on Paige. "No talk just get changed, everyone," he ordered, his voice curt but concerned. His eyes flicked to Paige, the worry clear in his eyes.
Before anyone could move, the trainers entered with a wheelchair, approaching Paige with gentle but firm insistence. Paige, still in tears, looked up at them, her stubbornness flaring despite her pain. She shook her head violently, her voice hoarse as she snapped, "I’m not using that shit."
Azzi, who had been holding Paige, leaned back slightly and looked at her with a mix of concern and understanding. "Paige..." she began softly, trying to coax her to let the trainers help without saying it directly. But Paige, her face contorted with frustration and fear, shook her head again, this time more vehemently.
"I’m fine. I can walk," she said, but the words were more defensive than convincing. Azzi stayed quiet, knowing Paige’s stubbornness well at this point, but she wasn’t sure how to get through to her at this moment. The last thing Azzi wanted was to push Paige further into herself, but she also knew they couldn’t let her walk out on her knee.
"Paige, let them help," Azzi said quietly, her voice full of empathy but still firm. "You’re not going to get miraculously better by fighting it." She gently but firmly squeezed Paige’s shoulder, hoping to make her understand.
The rest of the team remained silent, a heavy tension hanging in the air as everyone waited for Paige’s response, not knowing how she was going to react. Finally, after a long, drawn-out moment, Paige let out a frustrated sigh, her defiance still burning but her body sagging in defeat. She didn’t speak but slowly, reluctantly, she allowed the trainers to assist her into the wheelchair.
As one of the trainers began to push the wheelchair forward, Paige’s hand hesitated at her side before reaching out. Her fingers brushed against Azzi’s, almost tentative, as if she was unsure whether she should ask for that comfort or if this was even ok to do. Azzi didn’t hesitate when she saw it. She immediately took Paige’s hand causing the blonde to let go of a breath she didn’t know she was holding.
The subtle exchange didn’t go unnoticed. The rest of the team exchanged glances but said nothing, the weight of the moment pressing them into silence when they would usually make a joke.
Azzi remained close, walking beside her as they left the locker room, her heart aching as she watched Paige, trying her best to hide her tears. Azzi stayed silent, squeezing Paige’s hand, knowing it wasn’t the right time for empty words that wouldn’t change anything.
…
A few days later they were sitting together in Paige’s room, the tension of Paige’s injury still hanging slightly in the air, though there was a quiet calm between the two of them. Paige had her knee elevated, a heating pad resting on it, her face a mix of frustration and exhaustion. The injury was worse than she’d expected. It wasn’t just a sprain or a twist like she hoped—it was a fracture and a torn meniscus. She’d need surgery and would be out for at least two months. The weight of it all had hit her hard when she found out, and while she didn’t mind being surrounded by her teammates, right now, she only really wanted to be around one person. This thought process only added more to her confusion and frustration.
Azzi, understanding the gravity of the situation from when she tore her ACL, had been quietly sitting with her everyday, offering her presence without pressing for details. But now, as Paige spoke about her surgery, Azzi could see the hurt in her eyes.
"I’m scheduled for surgery next week,” Paige was saying, her voice quieter than usual. "They said I’ll be out for a minimum of two months. I know it’s not that long and I’m kinda lucky but it still feels like forever."
Azzi, trying to lighten the mood a little, cracked a joke. "Well, perfect timing then. You’ll be back just in time for March Madness. Look at that, you can’t even make a dent in our run!" She grinned, trying to ease the tension that was in the air.
Paige’s lips curled into a small smile, the tiniest spark of humor returning to her face. She kicked Azzi with her right leg—her healthy leg—and laughed a little, shaking her head. "Yeah, perfect timing," she muttered, her tone still tinged with sarcasm but a little lighter than before.
Azzi held her hands up in mock surrender, exaggerating her defensive stance at Paige kicking her. "Careful there, I’m mobile," she teased, easing back against the headboard of the bed. "This would be a losing game for you. You’re stuck on the bed."
Paige’s grin widened slightly, her eyes glinting with the playful defiance Azzi had grown to know so well. "You think so, huh?" she challenged, though it was clear that the teasing had pulled her out of the heavy space she’d been in for the last couple of days.
"Oh, I know so," Azzi replied, her voice playful and teasing, her smile matching Paige's as she leaned back against the headboard without a worry in the world.
Without warning, Paige’s hand shot out and she tickled Azzi’s side. Azzi squealed in surprise, instantly breaking into laughter and hopping off the bed, trying to get away from Paige’s relentless fingers.
"Hey, that’s no fair!" Paige muttered, her face lighting up with amusement as she tried to push herself up, wincing slightly at the discomfort in her knee. "I can’t get over there that fast."
Azzi pouted exaggeratedly, her laughter still bubbling out as she stood just out of reach. "Tough luck," she teased, grinning widely. "You’ve got a bum leg, so I’ll win the next few rounds."
Paige huffed, settling back into her spot on the bed, though she couldn’t help the small smile tugging at her lips. "You’re lucky I can’t chase you," she muttered, looking at Azzi like she was plotting her next move.
Azzi stuck out her tongue in mock defiance, still standing just out of range. "I’ll take my win. But don’t worry, I’ll go easy on you next time," she teased as she sat back on the bed, crossing her arms with a satisfied grin.
Paige muttered something under her breath, her eyes downcast as she crossed her arms, her mood shifting slightly.
Azzi smirked, leaning in closer with a playful glint in her eyes. "What was that?" she asked, her tone laced with curiosity.
Paige shot back, pouting slightly, her voice almost a whisper, "Nothing, leave me alone."
Azzi couldn't resist teasing her further, a playful smirk tugging at her lips. "Aww, did I make the big baby sad?" she cooed, her voice dripping with exaggerated sweetness.
Paige rolled her eyes, trying to hide the small smile threatening to break through. "Stop," she muttered, though the lighthearted teasing was clearly exactly what she needed.
Azzi grinned, enjoying the little back-and-forth, and leaned back into the bed, her eyes softening as she watched Paige. "Okay, okay. I'll stop for now," she said, giving Paige a break from the teasing, though she was clearly pleased to see the faint smile tugging at the older girl's lips.
A while later, the two of them had settled into a comfortable silence. Paige, however, found herself looking at Azzi once again, unable to stop the way her thoughts seemed to linger on her. Azzi noticed, her eyes glancing toward Paige before raising an eyebrow.
"What?" Azzi asked, a teasing edge to her voice.
Paige’s ears flushed pink, and she quickly looked down, feeling the warmth of embarrassment flood through her. "Nothing," she murmured, avoiding Azzi’s gaze. "Just thinking."
Azzi’s curiosity piqued, and she leaned in slightly, her tone soft but insistent. "About what?"
Paige didn’t immediately respond, just shook her head with a light laugh, trying to dismiss the moment. "Nothing," she repeated, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Really."
Azzi studied her for a moment, a smile forming as she relaxed back into the bed. "Alright, keep your secrets weirdo," she teased.
Paige couldn’t help but steal a few more glances at Azzi here and there, her gaze drifting over her without meaning to. Azzi definitely noticed, but she didn’t comment, merely raising an eyebrow at Paige the few times their eyes met. Paige quickly looked away, her heart beating a little faster each time Azzi caught her staring.
She didn’t know when it started—this acute awareness of Azzi, these small details she found herself noticing more and more. Small details that shouldn’t really matter to. Her dimples when she smiled, how her laugh made Paige feel lighter just hearing it, the way Paige couldn’t help but enjoy seeing Azzi’s smile and her brown eyes light up, like they somehow brightened the entire room, how Paige just always wanted Azzi around. Maybe it had started during all the late nights in the gym or maybe it was when Azzi would drag Paige to get a “sweet treat” despite the blonde grumbling everytime. All Paige knew was she liked having Azzi around a lot more than she would admit to anyone else.
December 2021 - DMV
Paige sat on her bed in the quiet of her room, the only sound being the occasional click of her phone screen as she scrolled through her social media absentmindedly. She was struggling a bit because she missed Azzi more than she wanted to admit. Despite talking every day since they left UConn for the break, the physical distance between them made the days feel longer.
She glanced at the clock. It was still early, but she couldn't stand the silence any longer. She reached for her phone and opened FaceTime, her thumb immediately hitting the call button. She leaned back against her pillows, the soft hum of her thoughts swirling in the background, waiting for Azzi to pick up.
The call rang twice before Azzi's familiar face appeared on the screen, her expression laced with that playful, sarcastic grin Paige had come to like a little too much. "Wow you almost made it to a reasonable hour before bothering me today. Bored already?" Azzi teased, raising an eyebrow.
Paige rolled her eyes but couldn’t suppress the smile that tugged at her lips. "What you doing?" she asked, shifting slightly on her bed to get comfortable.
Azzi panned the camera down, revealing she was lounging in bed, a pile of blankets surrounding her. "Nothing," she said casually, her voice lazy. "Just enjoying the quiet."
"Hm," Paige hummed. "What you doing today?"
Azzi’s eyes glinted with mischief. "Aww, does Paigey miss me?" she teased, her lips curving into that knowing smirk. "You’re all about me now, huh?"
Paige groaned, rolling her eyes again. "No, I’m just bored. That’s all. I’m literally stuck here with nothing to do because I can’t drive."
Azzi chuckled softly, then raised her eyebrows as if she had an idea. "Well, I’m going to a kickback with some friends from high school later. You should come with me."
Paige paused, the offer hanging in the air for a moment. She didn’t know anyone from Azzi’s high school, and she was still recovering from her surgery a week and a half ago, which made her hesitate even more. She bit her lip. "I don’t know, you know I just had surgery. And I don't really know anyone there. They probably hate me for whooping your ass all the time anyway."
Azzi rolled her eyes at the last comment before her face softened into a reassuring smile Paige had grown to be comforted by. "It’s gonna be chill, I promise. Plus you don’t gotta worry about your knee. I’ll be with you the whole time. You know I got you."
Paige’s heart fluttered at the thought of spending time with Azzi, even though she was still a little unsure. The idea of being around a bunch of strangers didn’t sound all that appealing, but the thought of being by Azzi’s side made everything feel a little more manageable.
"I don’t know..." Paige started again, but Azzi interrupted her with a teasing glint in her eyes.
"Come on," Azzi coaxed, her voice playful. "Don’t be boring. I’ll take care of you I swear. And if you’re worried about the knee, I’ll literally carry you if I have to."
Paige laughed, shaking her head, though she could already feel the excitement building despite her reluctance. "Alright, fine. I’ll come. But I’m not doing anything but sitting down."
Azzi’s eyes widened, feigning surprise. "Oh, you’re so gonna dance. I’m dragging you on that floor with your stiff knee whether you like it or not."
Paige groaned, though there was a smile on her face now. "Yeah, we’ll see about that."
Azzi’s grin softened, the playfulness replaced with something warmer. "You’re coming, and that’s all that matters. I’ll make sure you’re good the whole time. Nothing you can’t handle."
Paige felt the butterflies stir in her chest as she met Azzi’s gaze through the screen. "Alright, I’m in. But if I get too tired, you’re carrying me out of there."
Azzi laughed, her eyes lighting up with amusement. "Deal. But don’t think I won’t drop you if you start complaining too much."
Paige grinned. "You’re so kind to me. Really."
"Only because you’re special," Azzi teased with a smirk
Much later the conversation had gone on longer than either of them had planned, but it felt impossible to hang up. Even now, with their plans for the night set, neither seemed ready to end the call.
Glancing at the time on her screen, she groaned softly. "Alright, I really need to eat and get ready before I’m late picking you up. My phone’s about to die, and you can’t watch the magic happen."
Paige raised a brow, leaning closer to the camera as if challenging her. "Magic? Azzi, I see you every day. What could possibly be so—"
"Uh-uh," Azzi cut her off, wagging a finger at her through the screen. "This is party-ready Azzi, Paige. Not practice Azzi. There’s a difference, and I’m not giving you a sneak peek."
Paige rolled her eyes but couldn’t suppress her grin. "You act like I’m going to be taking notes or something."
Azzi tilted her head, a sly smile spreading across her lips. "You might. Gotta keep some mystery alive, Paigey."
Paige let out a laugh, shaking her head. "Fine, fine. Go charge your phone. Leave me here. Alone. Abandoned."
Azzi grinned, leaning closer to the screen for a moment before softly saying, "You’ll survive. I’ll call you back when I’m on my way."
And just like that, the call ended, leaving Paige staring at her reflection in the now-blank screen. She let out a long sigh before tossing her phone onto the bed beside her.
…
Azzi pulled up outside Paige’s house, her headlights cutting through the early evening darkness. She grabbed her phone and shot Paige a quick text: I’m here. A few minutes later, Paige stepped out, in a hoodie, her crutches tucked under her arms. Azzi hopped out to help, her lips quirking into a teasing smile as she opened the car door for Paige.
“You know, I’m not helpless,” Paige muttered as she settled into the passenger seat.
Azzi smirked as she slid back into the driver’s seat. “I know. But it’s fun watching you try to act tough.”
Paige rolled her eyes but couldn’t help the faint smile that tugged at her lips.
The car ride was casual at first, filled with light chatter. Azzi talked about her old teammates and how she wasn’t sure who’d actually show up tonight. Paige mostly listened, her responses short but warm.
After a while, the conversation lulled, and Paige found herself sneaking glances at Azzi. The way the dim light from the dashboard highlighted Azzi’s features—her sharp jawline, the curve of her lips, the casual way her hand rested on the steering wheel—it was almost unfair.
Azzi caught her once, her eyes flicking over for a moment before she stopped talking and smiled. “What?”
Paige’s ears turned pink, and she looked out the window. “Nothing. Just… listening.”
“Hmm.” Azzi’s hum was teasing, but she didn’t push it, much to Paige’s relief—and frustration.
When they arrived, Azzi helped Paige out of the car, steadying her for a second as she adjusted her crutches. They walked inside together, the hum of chatter and music growing louder as they stepped into the living room. A few heads turned, and someone called out Azzi’s name.
“Azzi!” one of her old friends greeted her, pulling her into a quick hug. “Yo nice to see you. You want a drink?”
Azzi shook her head. “Nah, I’m driving. Thanks, though.”
The guy turned to Paige, his eyebrows lifting slightly in recognition. “What about you?”
Paige shook her head. “No, I’m good.”
Azzi led Paige to a couch where a few of her former teammates were sitting. They greeted her warmly, the conversation flowing easily as they caught up. Paige mostly stayed quiet. She chimed in here and there when prompted, but for the most part, she sat back, her fingers fiddling with the hem of her hoodie.
Azzi noticed and leaned closer, her voice soft so only Paige could hear. “You good?”
Paige nodded, glancing at her. “Yeah, you know me. Not the most chatty if I don’t know them.”
Azzi smiled, her voice taking on a light teasing tone. “Mmm ok. I’ll make sure I keep you company then.”
The quiet exchange helped Paige relax a little, and soon the two of them were chatting quietly, their heads close together so no one else could hear. Azzi leaned back on the couch, her arm draped casually over the backrest, while Paige leaned in slightly, her knee bouncing as they talked.
At some point, Azzi stood. “I’ll grab us some water, you look parched.”
Paige nodded, watching as Azzi disappeared into the kitchen. For a moment, she was content to sit alone, scrolling idly through her phone. But it didn’t take long for people to notice she wasn’t occupied anymore.
It started with one or two people approaching her hesitantly asking for pictures, but within a few minutes, a small crowd had gathered around her. Paige smiled politely, answering their questions and posing for pictures, though her knee started to ache from standing without her crutches that Azzi had propped up on the wall.
After talking to someone in the kitchen for a bit Azzi returned to the living room, holding two bottles of water, only to pause when she saw the scene. A smirk tugged at her lips as she leaned against the doorway, watching for a moment. Of course, she should’ve known this would happen.
Still, Azzi’s smirk faded slightly when she noticed the tightness in Paige’s smile, the way her weight was shifted entirely to her right knee.
Azzi shook her head and made her way over, weaving easily through the people standing near Paige. “Alright, alright,” she said, her voice cutting through the chatter in a playful way to not draw too much attention. “Give her some room, y’all. She’s gotta rest that superstar knee.”
The crowd dispersed almost immediately, some people backing away sheepishly while others gave her a grin, clearly recognizing her from school as well. Paige glanced at her, relief flashing in her eyes as Azzi handed her one of the bottles.
“Sit,” Azzi said firmly but gently, her hand brushing Paige’s shoulder as she guided her back to the couch.
Paige exhaled as she sank back down, her fingers wrapping around the bottle. “Thanks,” she murmured, glancing sideways at Azzi.
Azzi dropped down beside her, leaning back casually. “No problem. You’re the one who decided to be famous, though,” she teased, earning a soft laugh from Paige.
“Yeah, well, I didn’t sign up for this part,” Paige muttered, though her tone was light.
Azzi chuckled, her eyes glinting with amusement. “Welcome to the life, Bueckers.
As the crowd thinned out around them, Paige and Azzi settled back into their own bubble of conversation. Paige leaned back against the couch, her bottle of water balanced on her knee. Azzi, ever relaxed, stretched out beside her, one arm resting along the back of the couch.
“So,” Azzi said, her voice soft but teasing, “you having fun yet?”
Paige smiled faintly, glancing at her. “I guess. It’s... different.”
Azzi raised an eyebrow. “Different good or different bad?”
“Good,” Paige replied quickly, then hesitated before adding, “Probably because I’m here with you. If it was anyone else I would be miserable.”
Azzi froze mid-sip of her water, her eyebrow arching higher as she set the bottle down. “Wait a second,” she said, her tone dripping with playful suspicion. “Are you trying to flirt with me, Paige?”
Paige’s eyes widened slightly at the accusation, her ears turned red as she stumbled over her words. “No! I—I was just saying—”
Azzi leaned closer, giving her an amused, knowing look. “Mhm. Sure you were.”
Paige groaned, looking away to hide her flustered expression. “I wasn’t,” she mumbled, though her voice lacked conviction.
Azzi let it go—for now—but the teasing smile never left her lips as she leaned back, clearly picking up on Paige’s reaction.
A little while later though Azzi knew she wasn’t making things up in her head.
One of Azzi’s friends walked by, their arm brushing against Azzi’s as they held a drink, and in the process, the liquid sloshed over the edge, spilling onto Azzi’s shirt.
“Dude you’re drunk!” Azzi exclaimed with a laugh, pulling her shirt away from her skin as it stuck to her chest uncomfortably.
“Sorry!” her friend called back, but Azzi just waved it off.
Paige, however, couldn’t help but glance down. The damp fabric clung to Azzi’s chest, highlighting the curves beneath. She quickly looked away, but it was too late. Azzi had caught her.
Azzi didn’t say anything at first, but her eyes glinted with something as she grabbed a napkin to dab at the spill. After a moment, she set the napkin down and turned toward Paige, her movements a little slow.
“What were you looking at Paige?” Azzi asked, her voice low and teasing as she leaned in slightly
“Nothing!” Paige said quickly, though her voice cracked slightly, betraying her.
Azzi smirked, inching closer until Paige instinctively leaned back against the wall, Azzi made her stand by in the name of getting her knee used to standing. Azzi placed a hand on the table beside Paige, her other hand reaching up to twirl a strand of Paige’s hair around her finger.
“Hmm,” Azzi mused, tilting her head as she studied Paige’s flustered expression. “You sure? Because it kinda looked like you were... distracted.”
Paige swallowed hard, her heart pounding. “I wasn’t.”
Azzi’s smirk deepened as she fluttered her eyelashes, leaning just a fraction closer. “Paigey...” she whispered, her voice almost a purr. “Do you have a crush on me?”
The words sent a jolt through Paige, and she found herself nodding before she could think, her brain short-circuiting under Azzi’s gaze.
Azzi blinked, momentarily surprised by the response, but then her expression softened into something almost unreadable. Her hand stilled in Paige’s hair, her thumb brushing against the strand lightly before she pulled back with a smile.
“Well,” Azzi said softly, her voice carrying a mix of amusement and something else Paige couldn’t quite place. “Good to know.”
Paige stared at her, still trying to process what had just happened, as Azzi settled back into her seat on the couch, acting like nothing had happened. But the glint in her eyes and the slight curve of her lips said otherwise.
Azzi kept her teasing smile as she leaned back into the couch, picking up her drink and taking a casual sip. Paige, still frozen against the wall, tried to compose herself.
“So,” Azzi said after a moment, glancing sideways at Paige, “what’s going on in that head of yours, huh?”
Paige forced a laugh, her voice slightly shaky. “Nothing. Just... thinking about how weird this party is.”
Azzi smirked, clearly not buying it, but she let it slide. “Weird, huh? I don’t know—seems pretty normal to me.” She raised an eyebrow, her tone playful. “Or are you just feeling weird because I called you out?”
Paige groaned, hiding her face in her hands. “Azzi, please. Don’t start.”
Azzi chuckled. “Oh, I’m just getting started.”
Before Paige could respond, someone called Azzi over to the kitchen. She excused herself, leaving Paige to sit there, her thoughts swirling.
When Azzi returned a few minutes later, she plopped back down beside Paige with two more fresh waters. “Here,” she said, handing one to Paige.
“Thanks,” Paige muttered, her cheeks still faintly pink.
Azzi grinned as she twisted the cap off her own bottle. “You’re welcome. You good now, or should I give you a few more minutes?”
Paige glared at her, but there was no heat behind it. “You’re the worst.”
“Nah,” Azzi said, leaning back lazily and tossing her arm along the back of the couch, close enough that her hand brushed Paige’s shoulder. “Apparently you like me too much to think that.”
Paige rolled her eyes, but her lips twitched, betraying the smile she was trying to suppress.
As the night went on, the two of them fell into their usual rhythm of casual conversation as if nothing happened. Paige occasionally chimed in when Azzi’s friends asked her a question, but for the most part, she stayed content in her role as an observer.
It wasn’t until they were heading home that Azzi brought it up again.
The car ride was quiet, the hum of the engine and SZA playing quietly in the background filling the space between them. Paige stared out the window, her knee bouncing slightly in a restless rhythm.
“You’re awfully quiet for someone who talks so much,” Azzi said, breaking the silence.
Paige glanced at her, her fingers tightening slightly around her phone she was holding. “Just tired, I guess.”
“Uh-huh,” Azzi replied, her tone dripping with skepticism.
Paige shifted, trying to focus on the passing streetlights. But then Azzi glanced over at her, catching the faint way Paige’s eyes flickered toward her hands on the steering wheel.
“You keep looking at me,” Azzi said suddenly, a sly grin tugging at her lips.
“I am not!” Paige said, her voice shooting up an octave as her ears turned red.
Azzi laughed softly, the sound low and warm. “It’s okay, you know. I don’t mind. I actually kinda like it.”
Paige groaned, sinking into her seat. “Can we not do this right now?”
Azzi shrugged, her grin never faltering. “Fine. I’ll save it for later.”
Paige sighed, but her lips twitched despite herself hanging on to the way Azzi said she liked it. She glanced at Azzi again out of the corner of her eye, noticing the way the passing streetlights highlighted her profile—her relaxed grip on the wheel, the faint smirk tugging at her lips, the calm confidence she always seemed to carry now.
Deciding to be a little bold and before she could second-guess herself, Paige blurted, “You looked really good tonight.”
Azzi’s eyebrows shot up in surprise, and for a moment, the car was silent except for the hum of the music. She glanced at Paige briefly, her expression unreadable, before a small smile curved her lips.
“Thank you Paige,” Azzi said softly, her voice quieter than usual.
Paige’s ears burned, and she quickly turned her gaze back to the window, biting back a nervous laugh. “Yeah, well, don’t let it go to your head.”
Azzi chuckled, the warm sound filling the space between them. “Too late.”
The rest of the ride passed in comfortable silence, but Paige couldn’t shake the small, knowing smile Azzi wore the rest of the way home.
As they pulled into Paige’s driveway, Azzi shifted the car into park. She glanced at Paige, her earlier teasing replaced by a softer expression. “Well, here you are, safe and sound.”
Paige hesitated, fiddling with her seatbelt. “Do you, um… do you want to stay over? It’s late, and I’d rather you not drive home alone.”
Azzi raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in her gaze. “Are you sure? I wouldn’t want to intrude.”
Paige rolled her eyes, already pushing the door open. “Azzi, just come in. It’s not a big deal.”
Azzi chuckled softly, unbuckling her seatbelt and following Paige to the door.
When they stepped inside, the faint sound of video game explosions filled the living room. Drew, was sprawled on the couch, controller in hand, his eyes glued to the screen.
Paige sighed, leaning against the doorframe. “Yo what are you still doing up?”
Drew jumped up, his boundless energy kicking in as soon as he noticed her. “Paige!” he exclaimed, jumping toward her before his attention shifted to Azzi. His eyes widened slightly, and he hurried to put the controller down, becoming more calm.
“I’m Drew,” he said confidently, holding out his hand like a little gentleman.
Azzi smiled, shaking his hand. “Azzi. Nice to meet you.”
Drew grinned up at her, his voice brimming with admiration. “You’re really pretty.”
Azzi laughed softly, her gaze flicking to Paige. “That seems to be a thing for the Bueckers family tonight.”
Paige groaned, already starting to head toward the stairs, albeit slowly due to her knee. “Oh my god, Drew, go to bed,” she called over her shoulder.
Azzi followed behind her, suppressing a grin as Drew called after them. “Goodnight, Azzi!”
Azzi’s laughter echoed softly as they climbed the stairs, and Paige shook her head, muttering, “I don’t know where he gets it from.”
When they reached Paige’s room, she pushed the door open and gestured for Azzi to come in. “You can hang out in here for a sec I’ll grab you something to drink.”
Azzi stepped inside, taking in the trophies, photos, and basketball memorabilia that decorated the space. “Nice room,” she said, settling onto the edge of Paige’s bed.
“Don’t get too comfortable,” Paige teased, disappearing to the kitchen.
Azzi leaned back slightly, her gaze lingering on the doorway where Paige had just disappeared. Her smile softened, and she shook her head, amused at how easily the night had taken such an unexpected—yet intriguing—turn. Anyone with eyes could see that Paige was attractive but Azzi never let thoughts linger too much of anything beyond that. But now Azzi sat there thinking about her and Paige’s dynamic, it definitely wasn’t lost on Azzi how much time they had spent together. How Paige was able to get her out of the bed at all hours of the night with just a FaceTime call. How easily they had fallen into each other's orbit after breaking past the tension they once had.
When Paige returned to her room, she found Azzi standing by her shelf, studying a framed photo of Paige with her teammates. “You were tiny in this,” Azzi commented with a small smile, glancing over her shoulder.
Paige set the drink down on her nightstand, rolling her eyes as she started undoing her bulky metal knee brace. “I wasn’t that small. You were just as scrawny back then.”
Azzi smirked, turning to face her fully. “Yeah, but now I’ve got muscles. You’re still trying to catch up.”
“Whatever,” Paige shot back with a grin, adjusting her leg with a slight wince as she set the brace aside. She got up and moved to her dresser, rummaging through the drawers until she found a soft hoodie and a pair of shorts. “Here,” she said, holding them out to Azzi. “I already put a toothbrush for you in the bathroom.”
Azzi walked over, taking her time as she crossed the room. When she reached for the clothes, her fingers deliberately brushed against Paige’s. The subtle touch lingered just a second too long, and when Paige glanced up, Azzi’s eyes were unreadable but warm.
“Thanks,” Azzi said, her voice light but carrying a hint of something Paige couldn’t quite place.
“Yeah,” Paige mumbled, quickly stepping back as if the proximity was suddenly overwhelming.
Azzi’s lips curved into a faint smirk, and without another word, she turned and headed for the bathroom. Paige watched her go, her stomach twisting in a way that was both confusing and exciting.
The soft click of the bathroom door brought Paige back to reality, and she let out a breath she didn’t realize she’d been holding. She flopped onto her bed, pressing her hands over her face as her mind replayed the look in Azzi’s eyes
When Azzi emerged from the bathroom, the sound of her footsteps was soft but enough to draw Paige's attention. Glancing up from her phone, Paige’s eyes immediately caught on Azzi’s figure as she crossed the room. The oversized hoodie hung loosely on Azzi’s frame, her toned legs visible beneath the hem of her shorts. Her damp curly hair tumbled around her shoulders in an effortless way that made her look almost ethereal.
Paige gulped, quickly averting her gaze before she got caught staring. She swung her knee over the edge of the bed slowly and stood, grabbing her clothes. "I’m gonna hop in the shower now," she said, her voice sounding a little too rushed. "Be right back."
Azzi, who was checking her phone, gave a nonchalant hum of acknowledgment. "Take your time. Don’t hurt yourself, though."
Paige shot her a playful glare. "I’m not that helpless, you know."
Azzi smirked, not looking up. "Sure, you’re not."
With that, Paige escaped into the bathroom, closing the door and letting out a long breath she didn’t know she was holding. What is wrong with me? she thought as she set her clothes down and began the careful process of getting in the shower.
The shower helped clear her head, but it took longer than she anticipated with her knee, which was stiff from the day. By the time she emerged, dressed in her own oversized hoodie and shorts, her hair still damp, she felt a little more composed. That composure, however, faltered the moment she stepped into the room.
Azzi was laid out on Paige’s bed, her hair in curls sprawled everywhere as she scrolled through her phone. She looked entirely too comfortable, her body stretched out and her face lit by the soft glow of the screen.
Paige froze for a moment, her stomach fluttering. Something about seeing Azzi so relaxed in her space made her heart skip a beat. "You look a little too at home," Paige teased, trying to cover the nervousness in her voice.
Azzi turned her head, a slow grin spreading across her face. "You’re the one who invited me in. What did you expect?"
Paige scoffed, moving toward the bed with her hands tucked into the pocket of her hoodie. "Just don’t hog all the pillows," she muttered, sinking down onto the mattress.
Azzi let out a soft laugh, her eyes glinting with amusement. "No promises. You know I sleep a little crazy sometimes."
Paige rolled her eyes, but a small smile tugged at the corner of her lips as she settled against the headboard. Despite the teasing, the air between them was warm, and Paige found herself relaxing, even if the butterflies in her stomach were stubbornly refusing to settle.
Azzi’s gaze flicked down to Paige’s leg, the faint furrow of concern returning. "Hey," she said, her voice softer now. "Before we knock out, let’s switch spots. You should be on the inside, where your knee’s by the wall."
Paige blinked at her. "I’m fine, Azzi. You don’t have to—"
"Humor me," Azzi interrupted, sitting up and giving her an expectant look. "I’d rather not accidentally knee you in the middle of the night."
Paige hesitated for a moment before sighing dramatically. "Fine. But if I wake up smooshed against the wall, I’m blaming you."
Azzi grinned, already shifting so Paige could scoot over. As Paige moved, Azzi reached over to turn off the bedside lamp, plunging the room into a cozy darkness. The faint light from the street outside filtered through the blinds, casting soft patterns on the walls as the two of them settled into place.
It was quiet for a moment, the only sound was the faint rustling of blankets as they got comfortable. The tension was noticeable, though not unpleasant. This was different from the other times they’d ended up in the same bed—those moments had been accidental, born of exhaustion or laziness. The two of them falling asleep watching a movie or Azzi throwing a pillow at Paige in the middle of the night after the blonde fell asleep on Azzi’s beanbag telling her to get in the bed. But now, they were both wide awake, fully aware of each other’s presence in the shared space.
Paige lay on her back, staring at the ceiling, hyper-aware of Azzi beside her. She could feel the faint warmth of Azzi’s arm, just inches from her own, and it took everything in her not to glance over.
"Well, this isn’t awkward at all," Azzi said suddenly, her soft chuckle breaking the silence.
Paige turned her head, giving her a mock glare. "You saying that made it awkward."
Azzi smirked, rolling her eyes. "No, it didn’t. I was just stating a fact."
"It was fine until you opened your mouth," Paige teased, her voice light but edged with humor.
"Okay, so if I stop talking, we’ll be back to normal?" Azzi challenged, her tone playful as she shifted onto her side to face Paige.
Paige’s lips twitched upward. "I don’t know. I feel like the damage is already done."
"Wow," Azzi said dramatically. "Way to make me feel self-conscious."
"Good," Paige shot back, smiling now.
Azzi shook her head, grinning as she propped her head up on her hand. Her dark eyes studied Paige for a moment before she asked, "So, was today exhausting for you? Or are you secretly a robot and just pretending to be tired?"
Paige laughed softly, glancing at the ceiling. "No, it was exhausting. My knee’s sore from all the moving around, and my social battery is completely drained."
Azzi’s brow furrowed slightly, concern flickering across her face. "Your knee’s sore? Why didn’t you say anything?"
Paige shrugged. "It’s nothing I can’t handle. I’ve had worse days."
Azzi hummed, not entirely convinced but letting it slide. Her gaze lingered on Paige’s face as the faint light from the window shifted, casting a soft glow that made the blue in Paige’s eyes seem impossibly bright.
For a moment, Azzi found herself captivated, the vivid color catching her off guard. It reminded her of the sky after a storm, a striking clarity that was hard to look away from.
"You’re really pretty, Paige," Azzi murmured, the words tumbling out before she could stop them.
Paige turned her head fully toward Azzi, her cheeks flushing slightly. A shy smile crept onto her lips as she whispered back, "You’re really pretty too, Azzi."
Azzi’s heart skipped at Paige’s response, the quiet sincerity in her voice making the moment feel heavier in the best way. Neither of them looked away, the stillness between them now filled with an unspoken understanding.
"Do your eyes always look like that?" Azzi asked softly, almost to herself.
Paige blinked, confused. "Like what?"
"That blue," Azzi said, her voice barely above a whisper. "They seem…different."
Paige’s blush deepened, and she bit her bottom lip to hide her growing smile. "I guess… I don’t know they’re just eyes, Azzi." Paige said, trying to hide just how much those words affected her.
"If you say so," Azzi said, the words so quiet they barely reached Paige’s ears.
The softness of Azzi’s tone settled over them like a blanket, and neither of them spoke again. Paige slowly turned onto her side to look at Azzi, her exhaustion catching up with her as her eyelids began to droop. Azzi stayed where she was, her gaze lingering on Paige’s relaxed features until she finally let herself sink into the quiet comfort of the moment, her eyes closing as she softly held Paige’s forearm.

so the idea is actor!reader plays a character that is also played as the love interest/partner of hwang inho (lee byung hun's character) and during their scenes together (in can be like a cute/lovey dovey interaction between their characters or u can also make it a sex scene or both if ur up for it🤷♀️🤷♀️) reader just keeps messing up her lines or having trouble staying in character because she keeps getting flustered/shy by lee byung hun causing them to redo the scene over and over again so him and the whole cast just keeps laughing and teasing her about it😣😣🙏🙏🙏
I got you! NOW. I'm not the best at writing smut ^-^ so bare with me here!
✮⋆˙Paring - Actor!Reader x Actor!Lee Byung-Hun
Summary - Just read 😭-
๋࣭ ⭑⚝Working with Lee Byung-Hun was always hard for you. Seeing his handsome sharp features always had you in a chokehold. You didn't know exactly what it was about him that drawled you in with him. Was it his hair? personality? His amazing acting skills? You just couldn't put your finger on it.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝You were now in the indoor filming set with your crew getting ready to film you and Lee's part of the movie. Your roll was acting as his wife. Finally getting in check you get up and walk over to the set getting ready to film both of you guys part.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝"Ready 'y/n'?" called out one of your supervises "Yeah! All good to go" you said "You got it!" Lee walks onto set and you swear you could feel the wind get knocked out of you. Looking straight in your direction "You're all set 'y/n'?" he says coming closer. "Mhm!' you quickly say, stepping back just a little to create a distance you don't need between the two of you.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝"That's great, let's start" Lee say's "
The sence was simple. All it required was for you to get pulled over from your waist by Lee and get told a few words. See? not so hard, you told yourself.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝"Aright, take one... Go!" the director called out.
Soon enough Lee came towards you, gradually grabbing you from the waist, speaking from his angelic voice, "I've heard what happened while I was at work. Are you alright Mylove?" He says and you can feel your face start to burn up "Yes I'm fine, I wasn't caught in the crossfire fortunately" you Stummer out "Thats wonderful to hear Love, I was worried sick about you" he spills Getting closer to you. This was the part you were supposed to kiss at, and God, were you not ready once he pulls in, face slowly but surely inches from yours Comes in and kisses you.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝You pull back and throw your head to the side, Lee frowns and askes you what's wrong. And all you could do is shake your head and backup "Um uh- nothing, Its nothing!" all of the crew members are staring and starts to crack up. "Y/n, what the hell was that!." you coworker says jokily while dying from laugher, "Hey that's not even funny! You guys are a joke" you defend yourself while covering you face with your hand, Lee hand comes up to yours and pull your hands down so he can see our face "Oh God, and look even her face is burning with red!" Another coworker says laughing "Ughhh! you guys are the worse!" you say while turning away.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝You both ended up having to redo the sence more than 3 times each time you were messing up
๋࣭ ⭑⚝'Im calling in a break" you hear your director say Lee then turns to you "Y/n, I need to speak to you" "oh.. Yeah, um what's up?" "privately" he says. He leads you towards his trailer and open the door so that you can walk in first.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝You both are inside his trailer and he speaks "So. What was al of that about earlier?" "uh..Huh? i have no idea what you're talking about" you mumble looking away. He grabs your chin softly and make you look at him "Don't pay foolish with me. You know exactly what I'm talking about." he says, staring at you daring for you to lie again.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝"I- ok. I admit it. I've got a crush on you Mr. Byung-Hun." "..." it gets quiet for a moment, he's still staring at you. But then he leans forward and kisses you. "Mm, how long? he says while breaking from the kiss looking at you. "Uhm, two years." "Really? two years? why'd you didn't say anything earlier' 'Y/n'"i feel the same way." "Well i can only assume since... you just kissed me." You speak "You got a mouth on you, you know That?" He says grabbing your waist. "Yeah... I do, are you going to do something about that?' "I might just have to." he say
๋࣭ ⭑⚝ "Oh yea?" "Yeah" He says kissing and sucking on your neck gradually. You let out a small moan that has him ushering to get more out of you. He pulls his knee up in between your tights , onto your cunt. "Oh, fuck-, that feels good" you say out of breathe from all of the moaning you've been doing. He pulls his knee down which causes you to frown at the loss of friction. "C'mere" he says pulling you towards the couch.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝"He sits down, pulling his cock from his pants. "Take off those." He says hurriedly wanting to feel you on his cock immediately. You take off your jeans along with your panties in a quick swift.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝You climb ontop of Lee's lap slowly sinking down on his shaft "Fuck- You feel amazing" you only hum in agreement. He then starts moving his hips, throwing his head into the crook of your shoulder.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝"Mmp-i need to feel more of you" he says as he stuffs inch after thick inch into your cunt. "Shit, I don't think I can take anymore-". He lifts up his hips fucking you deep and hard, thrust after thrust.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝"You're doing so good for me. J'-Just take it-,hmhp. I know you can" He mutters against the skin of your neck.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝The way he fucks his way into your tight pussy you thought you saw stars. "M'm close" you spoke , pussy hugging his cock. Ah! shit!" you screamed while arching your back further.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝Lee quickens his thrusts, adjusting to the rhythm. You moan once more, cumming on his cock. He continues to fuck into your hips none stop, He grunts loudly as he cums hardly into you.
๋࣭ ⭑⚝ "I want to take you to dinner 'y/n'." Lee spoke softly. "Yeah?" you said turning to look him in the eyes. "This weekend." "I'm up for it!, Can't wait till then" you say laughing
๋࣭ ⭑⚝He thinks you're the most beautiful person he's ever seen when you laugh. "Well, that's settled. We have to get back on set before breaks over. he voices.
Bro- this is so bad I WANNA CRY.
I am also so SORRYYYY this took so long to write. I had to start this over 4 different times 😔 i just cant- UGHHHH

detective!agnes x fem!model!reader
summary; agnes has a bit of trouble in the makeup department. tony is useless, and rio is busy. luckily, miss texas is bored out of her mind in the room next door, and just so happens to be looking for something to do.
tags; queer awakening question mark, age gap but nothing overly crazy
a/n; jen mentioned who cheered, fyi reader doesn’t know she’s queer, also its the 90s so take that as u will, ignore any mistakes
chapter 1 | chapter 2
your stylist, jen, glared daggers into the back of marvin’s head as he paced around the room, answering several phone calls per minute and overall just distracting her from her work, which just so happened to be your hair.
“does he ever stop that?” she mumbled, leaning over your shoulder to grab hairspray.
“i don’t know,” you whispered back, “sometimes i think he’s a robot who got sent to spy on me by my father.”
“wouldn’t put it past him,” jen smirked, combing her fingers through your hair as she fluffed it up, “et voila! all done.”
“thank you kindly jen, your’e a lifesaver.” you grinned, showing her out.
once jen had left, you pushed your door closed and threw yourself onto your bed, rolling over to turn the cd player on, before closing your eyes, basking in your moment of silence.

“what?” agnes deadpanned.
“we don’t have anyone to do your makeup.” tony mumbled, repeating himself.
“are you joking?” she spat.
“no…” he began, “we sorta thought you’d be able to do that yourself.”
“tony.”
“yeah?” he replied terror evident in his expression. he loved agnes dearly, but it didn’t take away from the fact that she was possibly the most terrifying woman to walk on planet earth.
“do i look like the sort of person who would know how to do my own makeup?”
tomy paused. now that he thought about it, he had never in his life witnessed agnes in a dress, nevermind makeup.
“get out.” she spat.
“huh?”
“get out! is that so hard for you to grasp, tony? i said GET OUT.”
•☽༻¨:·. ──── ₊☽◯☾₊ ──── .·:¨༺☾•
you groaned, the sound of a woman yelling filling your ears as you tried to get 20 minutes of sleep. now normally, you would’ve just got annoyed but left the situation alone, but this girl sounded MAD, and you were bored out of your mind by now, so you decided to go investigate.
when you left your hotel room, you realised that the yelling was coming from the room next door. huh, these walls must be thick, you thought to yourself, because the yelling sounded like it had been coming from somewhere a lot further down the hall.
the pristine white door lay wide open, and a man with dark hair was anxiously listening to the woman’s angry voice, before she yelled at him to get out.
before she slammed the door, you caught her.
“hey, everything alright out here?” you asked, shooting her a smile. this was the first time you had gotten a look at her, and quite frankly, you thought she was ethereal. her long dark hair tumbled effortlessly down her shoulders, stopping at her hips, and her skin was glowing, despite the obvious stress she was under. her eyes were piercing and as blue as sapphires, and she was in nothing but a plush white dressing gown.
“oh everything’s fine, hon!” she grinned back, giggling slightly, as she leaned on the doorframe.
“you sure? didn’t sound like it a second ago.” you replied, curiosity getting the better of you.
“well, that was my agent.” she began, “he just came to tell me my makeup artist couldn’t make it on this trip, she had to cancel.”
“oh, well that’s terrible! do you think you can do it yourself?”
“sure! i’ll be fine!” she reassured you, but something in her voice just wasn’t quite right.
“you don’t sound so sure. here, let me come in and help you out.” you offered.
she looked taken aback to say the least, and you were almost worried you had overstepped. that tended to happen with the other pageant girls. you had a really hard time getting them to like you. marvin told you they were just jealous, because after the pageants were over, you had a dozen magazines and perfume shoots booked, but you weren’t so sure, so whenever someone showed any sort of interest in interacting with you, you would jump at the chance, and sometimes you could be a bit much.
you let out a breath you didn’t even know you were holding in as she stepped out of the way of the doorframe to let you in.
you smiled, and she smiled gratefully back at you as you ushered her to the chair that sat in front of her vanity.
“you got any makeup with you?” you asked.
“i’m afraid i’ve only got this.” she replied, ruffling through her bag, before holding up two bottles, foundation and concealer, looking at them as if she wasn’t fully aware of what they were.
“wait one second.” you grinned, before running back to your room, grabbing your bag and rushing back to the woman’s room.
“i got stuff!” you spoke, excitedly, laying various makeup products out on the vanity.
“oh, thank you doll, you’re a lifesaver.” she sighed, the nickname sending a shockwave through you as it slipped from her lips.
“so- uh, what’s your name, anyway?” you mumbled, trying to brush whatever that feeling was as you kneeled down to her level, pinning her hair out of her face.
“agatha harkness, you?”
“y/n y/l/n.”
“that’s pretty.” she sighed, closing her eyes as you began to apply her foundation to her face.
as you continued to do her makeup, your knees began to get tired, causing you to have to stretch them out every few minutes.
“are you hurting, y/n?” agatha began, “here, get up.” she added, gesturing to the vanity. you let out a sigh ad you sat up onto it. you tried not to notice the fact that her eyes never left you, trailing up and down your body every so often, but you didn’t see that part.
“better?” she asked, and you nodded. as you leaned in to do her eyeshadow, you could feel her breath, caressing your face gently. your own breath hitched as the action, mixed with her unbroken eye contact, sent shivers down your spine. what was happening to you?
you shook it off as you picked your favourite red lipstick off the table, leaning in to paint her lips. as her rich, amber scent enveloped you, all you could think about is how beautiful she was, how inviting her scent was, and how you just wanted to fall into her lap and kiss her right there and then, you hands running through her luscious dark locks and her stunning hands gripping your waist. you tried to shake the feeling off, not knowing what was going on. she’s a girl, you thought to yourself. oh my god, am i-
“am i all done?” agatha asked, staring up at you.
“uh, yeah. all done! i’ll see you later, yeah?” you gushed, not fully aware if you’d been staring at her or not. you quickly rushed out, grabbing your things.
“alright!” she smiled, “thank you!”
•☽༻¨:·. ──── ₊☽◯☾₊ ──── .·:¨༺☾•
agnes was in big trouble. she didn’t know how she’d managed it, but she’d managed to fall for the one person that she couldn’t, and it was made worse by the fact she couldn’t tell anyone. if this didn’t go away, she’d be done for. she had known you for twenty five minutes and was already struggling to keep her composure around you, which was a really bad thing, considering that her whole goal here was to keep her composure.
suddenly, there was a knock at the door. she groaned, moving to open it, before being greeted with tony’s dropped jaw.
“you look fantastic!” he began, “i saw y/n leaving, by the way. how did that go?”
“uhh..”
one thing was right. and that was that agnes o’connor had messed up.

Take after Take ── .✦
Lee Byung-Hun x F!actor!reader
warnings: nothing just a hot actor and the use of y/n.
a/n: AAAAAAAAAH this request is so cute and a good first fic for me to write!!
The set felt calm, the quiet shuffle of crew members and the hum of equipment filling the air. Your hands were clammy as you stood on your mark, heart hammering in your chest. Today was the scene. The one everyone would remember, the one you felt COMPLETELY unprepared for.
“Alright, everyone, let’s get this scene rolling!” the director called. “Y/n, Byung Hun, into positions.”
You exhaled shakily, moving to your spot. Across from you, Lee Byung Hun, the Lee Byung Hun, stood calm and collected. He gave you a small, reassuring smile, like he could sense the nerves radiating off you. You tried to smile back, but it probably came out more like a grimace.
The scene was intimate, the kind of moment that makes viewers hold their breath. Byung Hun’s character, was about to show a rare moment of vulnerability, tucking a strand of hair behind your character’s ear. It was a simple gesture, but loaded with emotion. And you? You just had to respond with a single line.
“Action!” the director called.
Byung Hun delivered his lines flawlessly, his voice was deep and low, sending a shiver down your spine as he spoke. His eyes locked onto yours, so intense it felt like they could see straight through you. His hand reached up, fingertips just brushing your temple…
And you burst into laughter. Really?
“Cut!” the director said, though he sounded more amused than annoyed. “Y/n, you good?”
“I…” You glanced at Byung Hun, who was looking at you with a raised eyebrow and a slight smirk. “Sorry, I don’t know what happened. Nerves, I guess.”
“No problem,” the director said. “Let’s reset. Action!”
This time, you made it halfway through. Byung Hun’s hand moved closer, his touch so light it sent a shiver down your spine. Your line was right there on the tip of your tongue… but instead of speaking, you squeaked. And then giggled. Again.
“Cut!”
Laughter rippled through the set. Byung Hun chuckled, dropping his hand. “Do I make you that nervous?” he teased, tilting his head slightly.
“I… No,” you said, your face heating up. “Okay, maybe a little. I’m sorry, I don’t usually-”
“First time getting flustered on set?” he asked, stepping a little closer. His tone was gentle but playful, like he was enjoying your discomfort.
You nodded, covering your face with your hands. “This is so embarrassing.”
“Don’t worry,” he said, his voice soft enough that only you could hear. “Happens to the best of us. Just focus on the scene. Forget about the cameras, the crew… and me.”
You peeked at him through your fingers. “You make that sound so easy.”
He grinned. “Alright, maybe don’t forget about me completely. I am supposed to be the love of your life.”
You groaned, though you couldn’t fight the small smile tugging at your lips. “You’re enjoying this way too much.”
“Maybe a little,” he admitted, stepping back into position. “Let’s give it another go.”
This time, you managed to stay focused. His hand brushed against your temple, tucking the strand of hair away. His eyes held yours, and for a moment, the world outside the scene fell away. You opened your mouth to deliver your line… and promptly tripped over your own feet, stumbling straight into his chest.
“Cut!” The director’s voice was almost drowned out by the laughter erupting around you.
Byung Hun caught your shoulders, steadying you with practiced ease. He leaned in, his voice low and teasing. “If you wanted an excuse to get closer, you could’ve just asked.”
You buried your face in your hands. “This is a disaster.”
“Not at all,” he said, his tone softening. “Memorable, though. Don’t you think?”
Eventually, after what felt like a hundred takes (and even more laughter), you finally finished the scene. When the director called it, the crew broke into applause, and you let out a breath you hadn’t realized you’d been holding.
Byung Hun patted you lightly on the back. “Told you you’d get there.”
“Thanks to your patience,” you said, still catching your breath.
“Patience is part of the job,” he replied, his voice dipping just enough to send a shiver down your spine. “And besides, you made it fun.”
As you walked off the set together, his hand brushed against your arm, lingering for just a moment. Your heart still raced, but this time, it wasn’t from nerves. Maybe working with Lee Byung Hun would always be a little overwhelming... but it wasn't so bad.
apologies for any mistakes, this is my first time posting one of these ;-;

Riding Kiyotaka Ijichi in his car + glasses wearing reader
Summery: Ijichi accidentally leaves his lunch in your work bag, so you get to have a spontaneous lunch date! It’s not everyday you get to spend half an hour of uninterrupted time with your boyfriend… might as well take advantage.
cw: mdni, afab!reader, horned up Ijichi?, reader wears glasses, car sex so semi public, nothing crazy
You groan, rolling over and grabbing your phone to shut off the loud ringing as Ijichi yawns beside you, digging the heels of his hands into his sleep crusted eyes. “G’morning.” You grumble, your voice horse and gravely as you stretch your arms above your head.
Both of your schedules are always clashing. Between working and errands and appointments you hardly have any downtime, by the time you both crawl into bed you’re already spent, curled into one another and falling into a deep dreamless sleep before waking to the sound of your alarms only a few hours later— which is exactly what happened last night.
Ijichi hums in response, his usual smooth voice a low grumbling as he tries to work the grogginess from his bones.
You both fall into your respective morning routines— Ijichi showers while you make breakfast and pack your lunches, you do your hair while Ijichi pours you both coffee and lays out your clean work clothes on the bed— and so on and so forth until you’re leaning over your seat to press a quick kiss to his cheek before jumping out of the car and heading into work.
Lunch rolls around, the only time of day you get to sit down and call your boyfriend in peace (if he isn’t busy). You open your phone and press on his name, listening to the soft ringing before the line crackles and his voice cuts through. “Hi angel—“ he says, you can hear him flick on his blinker as he drives. “Did I leave my lunch in your bag this morning?” He asks. “Mm let me check—“ you murmur, rifling through your work bag, finding his lunch next to yours.
What a happy accident, he thinks as he pulls infront of your building, beaming as he rolls down the tinted window of his car to look out at you waiting for him. You smile back at him as you climb inside, pressing a kiss to his cheek again before he parks in an empty corner behind your building. Blooming trees shade the sun from view, most people refuse to park under it, hating the way leaves and pedals would get stuck under their hoods and windshields— and the walk from this parking spot to the front of the building made the walk even less enjoyable. But it made for a great impromptu picnic location!
You hand Ijichi his lunch, leaning back in your seat with a sigh as you ask him about his day so far.
He shrugs, resting his bag down at his feet before gently cupping your cheek, his thumb trailing softly against your skin as you relish the warmth of his touch. “How’re you, beautiful?” He asks, voice gentle as you look at him and his goofy lopsided smile.
“Tired… I miss you.” You admit, nuzzling against his palm.
His brow twitches in confusion, “we see eachother everyday.”
You laugh, your hand closing over his, bringing it off of your face and holding it in your lap. “I know that! We just never get any alone time, we’re always so busy.” You groan the last part, head lulling to the side dramatically.
You aren’t sure why you’re even bringing this up, sure it gets a little annoying sometimes but that’s never stopped you both from doing things together after work.
“Well we’re here now.” He says, his other hand moving to gently squeeze your arm. That innocent little action has heat pooling in your lower belly. That’s ridiculous! You think. He didn’t even do anything. But now that you think about it… it has been a while since you’ve both been intimate. Fuck, you’re lucky if you have enough energy at the end of the day to even kiss him goodnight.
Your eyes find his, that glint in them makes his stomach tighten and his cheeks flush. “What’s that look for?”
You raise your brows, that look of mock innocence gracing your features as he squirms in his seat. “Look all I’m saying is—“ you start, unbuckling your seatbelt and slipping off your shoes, “we each have forty five minutes left on break—“
Ijichi clears his throat, “I actually only have twenty—“ but you cut him off as you lean over and unbuckle his seatbelt for him, listening to it whip back into place before swinging your leg over the gearshift to place yourself firmly in his lap.
Good. Lord. His breath catches in his throat as you look down at him, his heart hammering wildly in his chest as you hike up your skirt with one hand, your other cups his cheek tenderly before you lean down and capture his lips in a searing kiss. You swallow down his desperate moans, his slender fingers digging into the fat of your thighs while you blindly fumble with his belt buckle.
Clink, click, ziiip!
He’s hot and throbbing as you palm at his clothed erection, straining against the fabric of his boxers. You pull back, his lips chasing yours before you push him back against the seat, a huff leaving his swollen lipstick smeared mouth. “You got enough time for this?” You ask, your lips pulled into a smirk as you watch him writhe beneath you, hurriedly nodding as his hands squeeze at you, pulling you down fully on his lap. You both moan as your clothed cunt meets his sensitive bulge, his hands groping at the globes of your ass as he urges you to grind against him, leaning forward to smash his lips into yours once more— all tongues and teeth this time as you moan into his mouth.
Your hands snake down his chest, clinging to his hips as you detach your lips from his with a wet pop. Drool dribbles down his chin, before it can fall onto the collar of his shirt you quickly press the flat of your tongue against his skin and drag upward. Your breath is hot against his face, glasses knocking together as your tongue slides past his lips, his hips thrusting upward to meet your small wiggles and grinds.
With eager hands Ijichi slips his fingers under the damp fabric of your panties, thin fingers slipping through your slick folds as you mewl against his lips before he slides your panties to the side. Your hands seek his boxers but before you can lean back and slip him out of his confines he beats you to it, deft fingers push down the worn elastic of his underwear, his cock springing free, the rosy head swollen and glistening as it rubs against the moist material of your panties.
His lips press hot open mouthed kisses along your jaw, wet and hot as he pants out “Can I?” His voice curls into a whine as your hand join his at the base of his cock, guiding it through your folds until it catches on your fluttering hole.
You both moan out as the head pushes past that tight little ring of muscle, a thin sheen of sweat coating his brow, his glasses fogging at the edges as you sink down inch by torturous inch until you’re flush against him, your clit rubbing against the bunched up fabric of your panties as he squirms under you, fingers digging into you to keep you in place as your own tangle in his neatly combed hair.
“O—oh fuck—“ he moans, lips kiss bitten and trembling as you roll your hips.
Oh how he wishes this could last forever— your gummy walls sucking him in, your juices already dribbling down his shaft—
“This okay?” You ask, your eyes heavy as you take in his features— his beautifully smooth face flushed and sweaty as his eyes fight to stay open, his mouth hangs open, moaning as you suck him farther inside only to pull back at an agonizing pace.
Ijichi nods, his hips aching to thrust up into you, “yes, beauty. go— ugh— faster.” You don’t deny him that pleasure, quickly shifting from gentle steady rolling motions to bouncing on his cock.
The soft squelch of your pussy splitting open around his cock has Ijichi’s ears ringing, a steady stream of whimpers spilling from his mouth as you do all the work. The car rocks softly, windows fogging as you gasp into each other’s gaping mouths between stolen kisses, nipping at his bottom lip when you get the chance to- soothing the sting with your hot and eager tongue.
“Oh god—“ he cries, eyes glassy as he watches you lean back, hands bracing the steering wheel behind you so that you can go faster. Your tits jiggle under your clothes, your glasses fall down the bridge of your nose, your hair sticks to your sweat slicked forehead— you’re just so… so hot.
His head swims, hazy as his gaze drops to your joined bodies, a frothy creamy ring forms at the base of his cock, the sticky substance clings to your glistening folds as you continue to thrust down onto him with increasing intensity as you selfishly chase your own peak.
Your head lulls forward, incoherent words tumbling for your lips as Ijichi takes two fingers and pushes your sliding glasses back up your face. “Thank you baby.” You mumble with your spit glossed lips. The sight has Ijichi leaning forward, pulling your chest to his as his hips meet yours, snapping upward at a brutal pace as his tongue darts out to lick at your sweat speckled neck with a low groan.
When you and Ijichi make love he’s always so tender, sweet soft kisses and a gentle grip that doesn’t hurt, he loves when you guide him through it— but now? After you both accidentally deprived yourselves for god knows how long? This isn’t love making, this is fucking.
The feeling swimming around in his gut is something new, he wants to wrap a slender hand around your throat, pull your hair, push your face into a pillow— anything if it means you’ll make these vile little sounds again.
You moan, back arching in his hold as he plows up into you, your arousal dribbling down your thighs and seeping into his pants. But fuck— he doesn’t care. Not when you’re babbling, treading the fine line between moaning and screaming as his tip kisses that spongy spot deep inside you that has you tightening around his dick.
This feeling buzzing deep inside of him has him seeing stars. His spine tingles as his hands grope and knead at your flesh in a new way.
He wants to pop the buttons on your work shirt, tear the fabrics with his teeth and rip down your bra so he can suck and bite at your tits as they bounce in his face.
“Oh my-g-god— I don’t think I can—“ he babbles, moans melting into sudden strangled whines as you start rubbing your clit in tight sloppy circles, your cunt clamping down around him, threatening to milk him dry. “M’gonna— oh-f-fuck—“
“Cum in me— Jichi— fuck! Jichiplease!” You cry, eyes scrunching tight as the coil in your stomach snaps, your hips aching and ears ringing as you cum around him, pussy fluttering as your body goes slack against him, lazily meeting his hurried thrusts until you feel him spill inside you. His ears ring as his cock twitches between your slick gummy walls, mind blank and empty aside from the thought of you pumped full of him. Hot spurts of cum paint your insides as he moans against your neck, “oh— oh shit—“ he pants, breathing in your perfume and sweat, his body trembling just as much as yours as you melt into each other.
As you lay in his arms catching your breath you chuckle, head still fuzzy as you come done from your high.
“Ijichi?” You hum.
“Hm?”
“I haven’t heard you swear this much before.” You laugh, your fingers carding through his hair as he groans, his softening cock twitching inside you as you lean back slightly.
If his cheeks weren’t already bright red they’d be burning with embarrassment. “I don’t want to think about it—“ he mumbles.
“No!” You tsk, biting down another laugh as you feel him nuzzle into your neck. “It was hot.”
He groans again, embarrassed and horny all at once— that pathetic little feeling so enticing. For his sake you pretend like you don’t feel his cock jump inside you at your confession, maybe tonight you’ll be able to pull some more colorful words out of those pretty lips of his. When you aren’t on a time crunch of course.

She did what?- Drew Starkey part 2
˚⋆ ୧ ࣪ Warnings Cheating , Odessa , swearing
Summary Hollywood is so overrated, but when Larissa finds out what our beloved Drew is up to, shit hits the fan 💋
"I miss you how you made me feel last night"
"When can you leave her house already, I need you"
You're Gut feeling all your friends talked about having when they have gotten cheated on. You said to yourself you would never feel that. Drew was good to you, no signs, no evidence. Until now, you can't breathe. heartbroken is the feeling you felt.
It's been an hour, and he still sleeping.
I looked through all of the messages. He has been gone for two months, which means for those two months. He has been lying and cheating with her. The girl you hate, you knew she always talked shit to her friends when you would be with Drew at a bar. You brushed it off because you never wanted to ruin the moment.
"What are you doing on my phone," Drew says, staring at me. He is caught, and he knows it. He has been awake for the past 5 minutes.
Disbelief is all you feel, the man you loved for 2 years who you thought couldn't hurt you in a way that all your friends told you or the internet. Deeply in love with this man. The hurt you felt, and he was about to hear it.
"Are you kidding me, the shit I found on your fucking phone, you cheated on me with this bitch, be so for real right now Drew". You say
He looks like he has seen a ghost, a ghost that is about to get put through the ringer. "I don't know what to say... I'm sorry baby". He says
"Dont call me that, we done Drew, Done. I have nothing to say to you". you express
"I am gonna leave save us both the trouble". Drew says
I take his phone and throw it against the wall. It shatters. Thank God fuck that hoe. Crash out is all you think but let this motherfucker think you're calm and collected.
A few days later
Brian, your best friend, always was in a show with Odessa. You needed a friend that made you feel at home. Both you and Brian made it up together. You met him at an award ceremony and knew he would be family. He was there with you for everything: first Big Movie, First Vogue Magazine Cover, Victoria's Secret shot, and plenty of other amazing accomplishments. He gets you and always supports you through everything. A big brother that you always wanted.
"I really can't believe him, two months away from you, and you would think he was thinking of you, but no, just thinking with his Dick," Brian says, he takes a sip of his wine.
You roll your eyes. "I wanna kill her and him. Everything I gave to that man and sacrificed for him, cheating, was never on my radar for him. Especially with her, like dude, the bitch is all over him 24/7 you would think, hello, he has a girlfriend maybe I should back away and stop trying to fuck him anymore, but no, my boyfriends fucking her in Italy for two months, while his girlfriend is home waiting for him and missing him." you express in disbelief
"If I could take anything back, it would be that boundaries are a major thing, that first night I met her, I should have known that she wanted him all over him and how she would brush me away every time I would speak."
Sitting on the floor with Brian as the TV in the background was just for noise for your ears. Chineses was just ordered, and Brian brought you your favorite red wine and yap session.
"You're perfect, beautiful as people would say," Brian says jokey. He nudges your shoulder, teasing you. "Don't let this silly man drive you crazy you have major things coming for you, accomplished many, and our the people's princess if you have any takeaways with this shit, it would be he lost the baddest bitch he will ever meet. You should be proud of yourself but do not, and I mean I do not let this shit get you off your tracks, major things are happening in your life. Oscar red carpet for Anora, Fenty shoot, and Vanity Fair shoot with Lily-Rose Depp. Life has shit planned for you." He says while hugging you and reassuring you of your worries. "I love you hoe". He nudges you again.
You roll your eyes. "Love you more boo". You hug him

Disclaimer: While the characters in this story are inspired by real people, the events and interactions are purely fictional and not reflective of reality.
The airport was buzzing with early morning activity, travelers pulling their luggage through the terminal, announcements echoing overhead. You were leaning against one of the sleek chrome pillars, your carry-on by your feet, scrolling through your phone to pass the time.
Noah was right beside you, as usual. He had his arms crossed, a hoodie tugged over his messy hair, and he was squinting at the boarding pass in his hand like it was written in hieroglyphics.
"I swear they make these things harder to read every year," he muttered, flipping it over like the back might offer some hidden insight.
"It’s not a riddle, Noah," you said with a laugh, reaching out to snatch it from him. "Gate 22. Terminal C. You’ve been doing this for years, and you still act like it’s your first time at an airport."
"Not all of us are travel pros like you, princess," he shot back, smirking as he leaned casually into your space.
Before you could reply, a loud wolf whistle interrupted the moment.
"Ah, look at ‘em! Joined at the hip, as always!" Nick Folio’s voice carried across the terminal as he walked over, balancing a precariously large coffee in one hand and a bag of snacks in the other. "Should we just start planning the wedding now?"
"Shut up, Folio," you groaned, rolling your eyes, though the warmth creeping up your neck betrayed your nonchalance.
"Yeah, shut up, Folio," Noah parroted, tossing a crumpled napkin at him. "Jealousy’s a bad look on you."
Nick feigned hurt, clutching his chest. "Jealous? Me? Never. I just think you two make a cute couple."
"Do you ever let up?" Jolly chimed in as he approached, his bag slung over one shoulder. "I mean, they’ve been attached at the hip since day one, and nothing’s happened yet. Maybe they’re just... eternal besties."
"Or they’re both in denial," Matt teased, appearing out of nowhere and clapping Noah on the back hard enough to make him stumble. "Classic slow burn."
"Right, because you’re such an expert on relationships," you shot back, raising an eyebrow at your older brother.
"Hey," Matt replied, grinning. "Just calling it like I see it. And as your big brother, it’s my job to keep the guy glued to your side in line."
"Yeah, yeah," you muttered, shaking your head as the rest of the group laughed.
"Big brother or not, you’re still a pain," Noah quipped, though there was no malice in his tone.
"As if you’re one to talk," Matt retorted, pointing at him. "If I had a dollar for every time you’ve mooched off her snacks, I’d be retired by now."
The group chuckled, and even you couldn’t help but crack a smile. This was the usual routine, and as much as you liked to complain about it, it was comforting in a way.
As the teasing died down, Nicholas Ruffilo joined the circle, pulling out his phone. "So," he began, "who’s gonna be the one to lose their luggage this time?"
"My money’s on Noah," Jolly said without hesitation.
"Why me?" Noah protested, looking genuinely offended.
"You lost your passport twice last year," Jolly replied flatly.
"That’s different!"
"How?"
"Uh, it just is," Noah said, his argument faltering as you snorted.
"I’ll help you keep track of your stuff this time," you offered, patting his shoulder mockingly.
"You’re a saint," he said, putting a hand over his heart. "An angel sent to save me from myself."
"Don’t encourage him," Matt groaned, shaking his head.
The overhead speakers crackled to life, announcing the boarding process for your flight. Matt immediately took charge, ushering everyone toward the gate.
"Alright, lovebirds, let’s move it," he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm.
"We’re not—"
"Save it," Nick interrupted, throwing an arm around your shoulders as the group started walking. "We all know it’s just a matter of time."
You exchanged a glance with Noah, who shrugged with a small, amused smile. It was the same old joke, but this time, there was a flicker of something in his eyes that you couldn’t quite place.
As you reached the gate, Noah fell into step beside you, close enough that your arms brushed. "You ever feel like they know something we don’t?" he asked quietly, just for you to hear.
"All the time," you admitted, your voice just as soft.
The moment hung in the air for a beat too long before Matt’s voice broke it. "Hurry up, or we’re leaving you behind!"
With a shared smirk, you and Noah picked up the pace, falling into step with the rest of the band.
The plane was relatively quiet as everyone settled into their usual spots. You slid into the window seat with a satisfied sigh, propping your backpack under the seat in front of you. Noah dropped into the middle seat beside you, and Folio followed, plopping down with a dramatic groan.
“Man, who made planes so cramped?” Folio grumbled, stretching his legs as far as they could go without hitting the seat in front of him.
“Quit complaining, Folio,” Matt called from his aisle seat, shooting him a look over Ruffilo’s head. “You know it’s worse on the tour bus.”
“True, but at least I don’t get stuck in the middle of these two on the bus.” Folio gestured to you and Noah. “You’re like magnets, always leaning into each other.”
“Jealous you’re not in the middle?” Noah quipped, earning a snort from Jolly.
“Nah, man. I just don’t want to be collateral damage when this whole slow-burn romance finally combusts,” Folio said, winking at you.
You groaned and shoved his arm lightly. “You guys really need new material.”
“Maybe we’ll stop when you two finally admit it,” Jolly chimed in, earning a chorus of agreement from the others.
Noah just smirked, leaning back in his seat. “Keep dreaming, guys.”
As the plane took off and the initial excitement of the flight settled down, everyone fell into their own routines. Matt pulled out his laptop, muttering something about emails, while Ruffilo popped in his earbuds and started sketching on his tablet. Folio tapped away on his phone, and Jolly was already half-asleep, head tilted against the window.
You glanced at Noah, who was scrolling aimlessly through his phone. “What are you looking at?” you asked softly.
“Nothing interesting,” he said, tilting the screen toward you briefly before locking it. “You thinking of sleeping?”
“Maybe,” you replied with a yawn, leaning your head back. “Flights always make me sleepy.”
“You always knock out within the first hour,” he teased, grinning.
“Can’t help it,” you murmured, already feeling the pull of sleep. Without thinking, you shifted slightly, leaning your headagainst Noah’s shoulder. It wasn’t the first time, and judging by the way he didn’t even flinch, it wasn’t a big deal to him, either.
Time passed, and you drifted off, your breathing evening out as the noise of the plane faded into the background.
It wasn’t long before the teasing began.
“Look at him,” Jolly whispered from across the aisle, his voice low but just loud enough for Noah to hear. “He looks like he’s holding his breath.”
“I think he’s afraid to move,” Ruffilo added, smirking. “Wouldn’t want to wake her, huh?”
“I’m not afraid to move,” Noah said defensively, though he kept his voice quiet so as not to wake you. “I just don’t want her to wake up cranky.”
“Oh, sure,” Matt interjected, leaning forward to get a better look. “That’s a real heroic excuse. But let’s be honest, you’re enjoying this, aren’t you?”
Noah shot him a look. “You’re her brother. Shouldn’t you be discouraging this kind of teasing?”
“Should I?” Matt said, feigning deep thought. “Nah, this is too much fun.”
“Careful, Noah,” Folio added, nudging him. “You keep letting her nap on you, and the next thing you know, you’ll be the designated human pillow.”
“Already am,” Noah muttered, but there was no real annoyance in his tone.
The ribbing continued for a bit longer before everyone settled back into their respective distractions. Noah shifted slightly, trying to keep his arm from going numb under your weight. Despite the teasing, he couldn’t help but smile faintly at how peaceful you looked.
As the captain announced the descent, Noah gently nudged your shoulder. “Hey, we’re landing soon. Time to wake up.”
You stirred, blinking sleepily and taking a moment to realize where you were. “Oh, sorry,” you mumbled, sitting up and rubbing your eyes.
“Don’t apologize,” Noah said, his voice soft. “You looked like you needed it.”
From across the aisle, Jolly piped up, “Did you get any drool on him this time?”
“Jolly!” you exclaimed, your cheeks flushing as the rest of the band burst out laughing.
“I’m kidding, I’m kidding,” Jolly said, holding up his hands in mock surrender.
Noah just smirked, grabbing your carry-on from under the seat. “Ignore them. They’re just mad they don’t have someone to nap on.”
You rolled your eyes but smiled as everyone prepared to disembark.
The airport was bustling with activity as you and the band made your way outside, your bags in tow. In the bus parking lot, your familiar tour bus stood waiting. Its sleek exterior and logo had become a second home over the years.
As you approached, Folio let out a dramatic sigh. “Ah, the tour bus. Where dreams of legroom come to die.”
You climbed aboard with Noah right behind you. As expected, you both took the booths across from each other—the same ones you’d claimed on every tour since your first. He threw his backpack onto the seat before flopping down, stretching his long legs.
“Surprise, surprise,” Matt said as he followed behind. “You two gravitate toward each other like it’s magnetic.”
“Yeah, we get it, Matt,” you replied, rolling your eyes but smiling. “Maybe we just like consistency.”
“Consistency, huh?” Jolly drawled, sliding into a booth further back. “Sure it’s not because you two can’t go five minutes without making googly eyes at each other?”
Noah shot him a look. “You’re projecting, man.”
“Yeah, totally projecting,” you chimed in, grinning.
“Call it what you want,” Matt teased as he threw his bag into the seat beside him, “but it’s only a matter of time before we’re writing ‘Mr. and Mrs.’ on the bus windows.”
Ruffilo smirked. “Or printing it on the next batch of merch.”
“You guys are insufferable,” you muttered, trying to suppress your laughter.
The drive to the venue was filled with similar banter, the kind that made the long hours on the road bearable. When the bus finally pulled into the lot behind the venue, everyone piled out, stretching and groaning after the ride.
Inside, the band got straight to work setting up for soundcheck. You wandered into the sound booth where Matt was stationed, helping coordinate with the crew.
“You’re still gonna be my unpaid assistant this tour, right?” he asked, grinning as you leaned against the console.
“Of course,” you said with mock enthusiasm. “Living the dream.”
As the band began their soundcheck, you couldn’t help but watch Noah. He was in his element, mic in hand, his voice effortlessly commanding the space. The way he moved, the focus in his expression—it was mesmerizing.
“Subtle,” Matt said dryly, breaking your trance.
“Huh?” You turned to him, feeling the heat rise in your cheeks.
“Your staring,” he teased. “You’re not exactly sneaky about it.”
“I’m just watching the sound levels,” you lied, feigning nonchalance.
Matt chuckled. “Sure, let’s go with that.”
The band wrapped up soundcheck, and everyone took a break before the show. Back in the green room, the teasing resumed as everyone grabbed snacks and drinks.
“Are we gonna have to peel you two apart again tonight?” Jolly asked, smirking as he sipped his water.
“Not unless you want to lose a limb,” Noah shot back, earning a laugh from Folio.
“Relax, man,” Folio said. “We’re just pointing out the obvious. You two are like those couples in rom-coms—everyone knows what’s coming except you.”
“We’re not a couple,” you said, exasperated. “Can we change the subject?”
“No,” Ruffilo replied immediately, earning a high-five from Jolly.
As showtime approached, you found yourself backstage, the energy in the venue electrifying. The band took the stage, and you couldn’t help but sing along and dance to every song, caught up in the moment.
From where you stood, you could see Noah glancing your way more than once, a small smile tugging at his lips when he caught your eye.
When the show ended, the crowd’s cheers still echoing in your ears, you were more than hyped. The moment Noah stepped offstage, sweaty and flushed from the performance, you ran to him, wrapping your arms around him in a tight hug.
“Y/N,” he laughed, his voice still rough from singing. “I’m literally soaked in sweat.”
“I don’t care,” you said, grinning as you held on tighter.
“Aww,” Jolly cooed from behind you. “A post-show love fest.”
“Jealous?” Noah shot back, his arms briefly tightening around you before he pulled away, though his smile lingered.
Before you could respond, Matt approached, crossing his arms as he looked at the two of you. “Still hugging, huh?”
“Don’t start,” you warned, though your tone lacked any real bite.
“I’ll start if I want to,” Matt said, smirking. “But I’ve got a better idea. Drinks to celebrate the first show?”
Noah glanced at you, his brow quirking. “What do you think?”
“Sounds perfect,” you replied, still buzzing with excitement.
“Great,” Matt said, clapping his hands. “Let’s pack up and get out of here.”
The bar was dimly lit, buzzing with music and chatter as you and the band made your way to the VIP section. The staff had cordoned off a cozy corner for you, complete with plush leather couches and a low table littered with menus and coasters.
Matt was quick to take charge, ordering the first round of drinks. He came back carrying a tray with an assortment of glasses, grinning like he’d just won a prize.
“To the first show of the tour!” he declared, raising his glass.
“To surviving another tour without killing each other,” Jolly added dryly, earning a laugh from the group as everyone clinked glasses.
The night unfolded in a haze of laughter, stories, and an ever-growing pile of empty glasses. It wasn’t long before Folio and Matt were deep into their cups, leaning heavily into their drunken states.
Folio slumped back into the couch, a lazy grin on his face. “Damn, I’m so drunk,” he mumbled to himself, chuckling. “Shouldn’t have smoked that joint during the show.”
You and Noah, seated next to each other on the crowded couch, exchanged amused glances and laughed quietly at Folio’s confession.
“What’s so funny?” Folio slurred, his glassy eyes focusing on the two of you. Then he paused, squinting as if his vision had just betrayed him. “Wait a minute… are you… sitting on his lap?”
Your cheeks immediately flushed as you realized he was right. The couches were too crowded, and at some point, you’d perched yourself on Noah’s lap to make room. It had felt casual—comfortable even—but now, under Folio’s scrutiny, it was anything but.
“Uh, yeah,” you said, trying to play it cool. “There’s no room.”
“No room,” Folio repeated, his grin widening. “Sure, let’s call it that.”
“Here we go,” Noah muttered under his breath, his arm resting lightly around your waist to keep you steady.
Folio leaned forward, as much as his inebriated state allowed, a mischievous glint in his eye. “You’re awfully cozy for two people who are ‘just friends.’”
“It’s practical,” you countered, though your voice lacked conviction.
“Practical,” Matt chimed in, sliding onto the couch beside Jolly with his drink in hand. His face was flushed, his grin even wider than usual. “That’s what we’re calling it now?”
“Oh, come on,” you groaned, burying your face in your hands.
“No, no, let’s explore this,” Matt said, clearly delighted. “You’re telling me, out of all the space in this VIP section, the only place you could sit is on Noah’s lap?”
“Exactly,” Noah said with a straight face, though the corners of his mouth twitched. “It’s basic physics.”
“Physics,” Matt repeated, laughing. “That’s the best you’ve got?”
“Better than whatever logic you’re using to justify that shirt,” Noah shot back, gesturing at Matt’s garishly patterned button-up.
“Deflection,” Folio sang, pointing at Noah like he’d cracked some great mystery. “Classic deflection.”
“You two are unbelievable,” you said, shaking your head, though you couldn’t help but laugh.
“Unbelievable? No, no, no,” Matt said, his voice full of mock indignation. “What’s unbelievable is that you’ve been in each other’s pockets for years, and you’re still pretending nothing’s going on.”
Folio nodded vigorously, almost spilling his drink. “They’re like… like one of those slow-cooking stews. Taking forever, but you know it’s gonna be good when it’s done.”
Noah groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Alright, I think it’s time to get these two to bed.”
You nodded, standing up and grabbing Folio’s arm. “Come on, big guy. Let’s go.”
“I’m fine!” Folio protested, though he made no effort to resist as you and Noah guided him out of the booth.
“You’re fine, huh?” Noah said, steadying him when he stumbled. “Tell that to your liver.”
Behind you, Jolly and Ruffilo waved lazily from the booth. “We’ll hang out a bit longer,” Ruffilo called. “Good luck with those two.”
The walk back to the bus was anything but quiet.
“You two looked real comfortable back there,” Matt teased, slurring slightly but still sharp enough to make you groan.
“It’s not like that,” you said for what felt like the hundredth time, focusing on getting him up the bus steps.
“Sure, sure,” Folio chimed in, leaning heavily on Noah. “Bet you’re just gonna sit on his lap the whole tour, huh?”
“Folio, shut up,” Noah said, though his tone was more amused than annoyed.
Once you got them into their bunks—after much coaxing and a few more poorly aimed jokes—you and Noah retreated to the living room section at the back of the bus. It was quiet now, the gentle hum of the bus’s engine filling the space.
You sank onto the couch, exhaling a long breath. “Well, that was… something.”
“Every tour starts like this,” Noah said, sitting across from you. He leaned back, stretching his arms along the top of the couch. “It’s like a rite of passage.”
You laughed softly, running a hand through your hair. “I’m surprised they didn’t start singing wedding bells on the way back.”
“Oh, give them time,” he replied with a smirk.
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t help smiling. A comfortable silence settled between you, and when you glanced up, you caught Noah watching you, his head tilted slightly, a faint smirk on his lips.
“What?” you asked, your brow furrowing.
“Nothing,” he said, though the look in his eyes suggested otherwise.
“Come on,” you pressed, leaning forward slightly. “What’s that look for?”
He shrugged, his smirk deepening. “Just thinking.”
“About?”
“You,” he said simply, his voice low but teasing.
Noah’s smirk didn’t waver, his gaze steady and warm as he leaned slightly closer. The faint hum of the bus seemed louder in the quiet.
“What about me?” you asked softly, your voice barely above a whisper, curiosity and nervousness mingling in your tone.
He hesitated for a moment, as if weighing his words carefully, and then his lips curved into a gentle smile. “You’re really beautiful, you know that?”
Your breath caught for a second, and you blinked at him, taken off guard. “What?”
He chuckled, the sound low and almost shy, a stark contrast to his usual confidence. “I’m serious. You are.”
A flush crept up your neck as you tried to find your voice. “Noah…”
“What?” he teased, leaning his elbows on his knees, his body angled toward you. “Can’t I say something nice without you getting all flustered?”
“I’m not flustered,” you shot back, though the heat in your cheeks betrayed you.
“Right,” he said with a knowing smile, his eyes sparkling.
You folded your arms, narrowing your eyes playfully. “Why now? What’s with the sudden compliments?”
He shrugged, his expression softening. “Maybe it’s not sudden. Maybe I’ve always thought it, but I’m just bad at saying it out loud.”
Your heart thudded in your chest at his words. “You think… you think they were right all this time? About us?”
“No,” he said firmly, his voice steady and leaving no room for doubt.
Your stomach dropped a little. “Oh.”
He tilted his head, studying your reaction, and then his lips quirked into a small smile. “I don’t think they were right. I know they were.”
Before you could respond, he leaned in closer, his hand lightly brushing against your knee. The air between you felt charged, the space too small yet not enough.
And then he kissed you.
It started slow, tentative, as if testing the waters. His lips were soft, warm, and they lingered against yours just long enough for your breath to hitch. When you didn’t pull away—when you leaned into him, your hands instinctively finding his shoulders—it deepened.
Noah’s hand slid to your waist, guiding you closer as the kiss grew more passionate. The world outside the bus seemed to disappear, leaving only the quiet hum of the engine and the racing of your heartbeat.
Your fingers tangled in his hair, and he pulled you onto his lap without hesitation. The moment felt electric, the years of teasing, tension, and unspoken words finally snapping into place.
His lips moved against yours with a fervor that sent your mind spinning. You shifted slightly, your knees pressing into the cushions on either side of his hips. His hands rested firmly on your waist, pulling you impossibly closer.
It was as if nothing else mattered, just the two of you finally crossing an invisible line that had been drawn so long ago.
And then—
“Damn, I’m wayyy too dizzy to sleep in that tiny bunk—” Folio’s voice cut through the haze, slurred but loud enough to make you both freeze.
Your head whipped around, your eyes wide, as Folio stumbled into the living room. He stopped mid-step, his eyes blinking rapidly as they focused on the scene in front of him.
“Oh,” he said, his tone laced with a mix of shock and amusement. “Ohhhhhh.”
You scrambled off Noah’s lap, your cheeks burning hotter than the sun as you tried to compose yourself. Noah, on the other hand, stayed seated, though he ran a hand through his disheveled hair, his expression caught somewhere between frustration and bemusement.
“Folio,” you started, your voice a pitch higher than normal. “What are you doing up?”
He pointed vaguely in the direction of the bunks. “Too dizzy. Needed air. Did not expect to walk into… whatever this is.”
“This isn’t… it’s not—” you stammered, flailing for words.
Folio smirked, leaning against the doorframe. “Nah, don’t stop on my account. Just… maybe put a sock on the door next time or something?”
“Go to bed, Folio,” Noah said, his tone exasperated but still holding a hint of a smile.
Folio gave a mock salute before stumbling back toward the bunks, muttering something about how the tour was going tobe very interesting.
As soon as he was out of earshot, you buried your face in your hands. “Oh my God.”
Noah chuckled, his hand reaching out to tug gently at your wrist, pulling your hands away. “Well, that wasn’t exactly how I imagined this going.”
You couldn’t help but laugh, though your face was still flaming. “So much for subtle.”
“Subtle’s overrated anyway,” he said, his smirk returning as he pulled you back down beside him.

A Couple Firsts // D.M x reader
Request: Maybe there’s an opportunity to slow dance somewhere, he puts out his hand and asks her to dance, but she is hesitant because she has never slow danced before. Maybe he can say something like “You just need a strong lead” and does just that. I just like gently taking control of the situation part, and I can see Draco doing that!
Word count: 1.5k
Author's Note: personally I did not spell check this. I am so exhausted LMAO but i had a fun time writing it. Also my requests are closed to finish the requests that are already in there!
[masterlist]
Much love, Saige
———————
You and Draco had been together for a short period, each day full of firsts with each other. First time alone at hogsmeade together. First breakfast in bed together. First late night in each other's dorms. First time sneaking out of class and kissing in the hall, unable to be away from each other for long periods of time.
It felt like a dream with him. You were love struck, the idea of having someone to kiss, someone to hold, someone to talk to about anything. Your fears, your dreams, your passions. It was such an emotional outlet for both of you. The only thing was that Draco was your first boyfriend, you weren’t particularly his first girlfriend.
That didn’t bother you; you were not the jealous type at all. Draco made sure to keep you secure in his love, his devotion to JUST you. It only was worrisome to yourself when those firsts happened and you had never done them before.
The Yule ball was announced at the beginning of the year, happily taking the opportunity to flaunt his girl, Draco asked you extravagantly at the great hall. Balloons, a large bouquet, and little doves flying around. It was a little much, but you knew it came from his desire of flaunting wealth. Your Yule ball invite was definitely the biggest around and created a little hysteria. It wasn't his best trait but you couldn't help but feel special.
The ball came closer and the preparation was more than you could’ve thought of. Draco's mother sent over a letter of your measurements and what colors you both were wearing in order to put in a custom gown with her personal tailor. You and the girls in your dorm did your nails together and helped each other with your hair. It was such a nice bonding moment for you all, happy to gawk and talk of who was taking who to the dance.
As the moments passed, small butterflies began to swarm in your stomach, growing with each thought of the night. You had no clue where Draco was, if he was ready already, if he was as nervous as you were. You couldn't help but blush at the idea of such a romantic night.
Taking a final look in the mirror, you press down your dress, its amber beads shining off of the overhead lights, glimmering against your skin.
I’m ready - you thought to yourself, accepting that there was nothing to change, improve, or procrastinate with any longer. The time was ticking and you had to get out the door. Walking down the steps of your dormitory, your eyes scanned across the dimly lit common room, slytherin students paired up and mingling together.
You got to the bottom of the stairs, still unable to find your boyfriend before a strong pair of hands snuck their way around your waist, guiding you to a corner of the room.
”Don't you look ravishing.” Draco mumbled, his hands still firmly placed on your hips. He looked you up and down, placing a long soft kiss on your forehand.
“You look pretty nice, all cleaned up.” You joked, brushing off fake crumbs from his lapel. He rolled his eyes playfully, his name being called from across the room directed his attention.
“Oy, im busy!” His hand enveloped yours, shouting back across the room. He swatted the air, dismissing the student before turning back to you.
”Shall we?” He purred, extending his hand towards the door.
“We shall.” You replied, smiling up at him. You both walked across the floor, Draco getting attention from almost anyone he passed, ignoring them completely and ushering you through the door.
You walked together in silence, bodies as close as possible to each other, traversing up several flights of stairs together, audibly out of breath once you both arrived at the great hall, making eachother laugh with whatever lung capacity you both had left.
Being fashionably late, you were both able to slip into the dance after the ceremony, the music already blaring. Looking into Draco eyes you smiled, pulling him quickly onto the dance floor, his body loosely following you.
The night flowed easily, the songs upbeat and tiring you both after a while. Slightly sweaty and out of breath, you both left the dance floor, itching for a break. Guiding you to an empty table, pulling out a chair for you. Taking a seat, Draco held your hand, leaning in to your ear to make sure you could hear over the noise.
”I’m going to get a drink for us darling. Stay here. If anyone bothers you ill be back in just a minute.” He kissed your cheek, turning away and falling back around the large crowd of students. The music was deafening, unable to hear much of anything except the live band at the front of the stage.
You couldn't help but people watch, many students not being familiar to you. Tall boys and girls jumped to the beat of the music, different types of wizards and witches all together. You felt like the school house rivelty was on break, everyone’s colors now meshed into one. Over to the right of the stage was a few professors, awkwardly bounding on their heels to the music, watching the students like hawks.
Like on que, you looked around for Draco, his bright glossy hair peeking out from the corner coming back to you, his hands holding two chalaces of punch, smiling from ear to ear.
“I hope you didn’t get lonesome.” He shouted, placing down the cup in front of you, its glittery contents swishing around invitingly. You picked it up, taking a large gulp, the icy drink flowing down your throat and cooling you immediately.
“Thank you” You mouthed to Draco, unwilling to shout across the music. He smiled, taking a sip from his own cup, his eyes not leaving your face. The music slowly died out, the students in the crowd hooping and hollering with excitement. It had to have been around 9pm, wishing for the night to slow and more of a relaxing song to play to change the pace.
Like you wished, a small violin began cascading around the great hall, its slow song pushing some students out of the crowd and inviting in many who have been waiting all night. Draco set his cup down, grabbing your hand quickly, happy for the opportunity to hold you close. Nerves hit your stomach as he grabbed you, suddenly realizing you’ve never slow danced, the steps more intricate, more thoughtful. You were clumsy and cranky, perfect for a large group setting, but the lack of students on the floor really opened up for scrutinization and attention.
Draco tugged lightly, pouting down at you.
”I’m… nervous.” You mouth up to him, his eyes soften, pulling you up from your chair. Relectetly you followed, knowing you would kill to have had your first slow dance, but the act grew an ache in your stomach.
Finding a place on the floor, Draco directed your hands to his body, pulling you close, his head now next to yours.
“Let me lead.” He whispered sultry into your ear, the hair on your neck standing up, happily shielding your warming cheeks with your hair, setting your chin on his chest. The song picked up slightly, Draco’s feet pulling and encouraging you to follow, only stumbling a few times before catching onto the pattern.
“Left, right, left.” He’d whisper every once in a while, noticing your concentration.
You realized after a while you weren’t thinking about anyone else, just you and Draco. No matter what would be said about you tripping, or how weirdly you danced, you'd only remember this moment. How he held you tightly and brought you around the floor easily.
The song ended, but started another slow song. Now more confident in your abilities, you leaned back and smiled at Draco, your eyes sparkling under the hanging icicles above. He leaned down, kissing you passionately as the song swelled. Your feet moved in small spurts, but your lips did not part from each other. You both attempted to hold each other for as long as possible, knowing any moment you'd be interrupted.
“MALFOY” Professor Mcgonagall shouted, immediately breaking the kiss purely out of fear. She was still in the corner, but her squinting eyes made you both cower slightly, your head hitting his chest laughing deeply into it.
“First time getting caught kissing eh?” He laughed

STRANGER ★
( reader x park sunghoon )
IN WHICH: park sunghoon feels like he’s drifting away from his girlfriend, but after one night, she’s a stranger again, or perhaps she has always been. even if they were relatively close, they were still very far.
silence enveloped the dark hot room, as thoughts were more than enough noise. park sunghoon laid next to you, above your blue bed cover, a hand resting under his head, as he turned to look at you.
his eyes felt like they were burning, but they weren’t warm enough to break through the barrier you had set up. in all honestly, you didn’t know why he still tried in the relationship, why was he still here?
“y/n…” he started, but you were quicker to turn him down.
you rolled over in your bed, in nothing but a shirt and underwear, your hair still managing to look neat, as if you had just gotten home. “i’m going to take a shower,” you let him know, as you opened your closet, taking out a small strapless dress and a pair of heels.
“you’re going out?” sunghoon furrowed his brows, sitting up, leaning on his two arms.
“yeah, i told you before. just because you’re here doesn’t mean i’m going to cancel my plans,” you laughed incredulously, glancing at your bed-side table, where a clock sat at, reading the time. “you should go.”
sunghoon then spoke again, stopping you from escaping to the bathroom, “can’t you just stay a few minutes with me?” he asked, more like begged. it’s all he had been doing lately, feeling as if you were escaping from his grasp.
“you wanted to come over sunghoon, if you want to stay here for the night or something… go ahead. i’m probably going to sleep somewhere else or get back in the morning,” you threw him a smile, and before he could say anything, you disappeared into the bathroom.
the shower head started running with water, as your dirty clothes dropped to the ground, that only made sunghoon wonder when had this all started, not your relationship, but your un-relationship, if you could call it that.
you were so loving at the start, so kind and accepting, in his opinion, everything was perfect. so what happened that made you pull away from him. was it something he did? something he said? he couldn’t recall any evil done from his part.
it al brought him back to the day you met him.
sunghoon entered the rooftop at school, away from his lousy friends, wanting to eat lunch in peace, not having a feral niki attacking him, or hearing heeseung and jake fighting over basketball.
as soon as the door closed behind him, he immediately regretted it. the rooftop was occupied by you, staring at the sky.
“sorry… for interrupting, i’ll leave,” sunghoon immediately spoke.
you didn’t even turn to look at him, as if he was nothing but a random passerby. but you opened your mouth before he could leave, “why do you always run away from me?”
in all truthness, sunghoon was in love, and he didn’t know why. you weren’t his type. you weren’t quiet, reserved, or dressed very nicely. but there was something about you, like you were someone important.
he noticed himself starting to fall in love when his friends asked who he looked for in the halls. he noticed he started to fall when he was interested in what types of treats and movies you liked.
everyday, it was like you were there. he saw you on the patio, when he looked out his window in class, outside the gym, near your locker, exiting your homeroom. you were always there, he saw you.
but you never once saw him as someone. you did notice a guy running away nervously everytime you were near, or making the impossible to not bump into you. and you knew more than anyone what it was about, still, his reaction was weird.
“come sit,” you said. you weren’t any kind of monster, not yet. so why did someone that liked you, ran away from you. never has someone had the guts to refuse you, if he did, he had to have a pretty good reason to.
“okay,” he muttered, slowly walking over, sitting down next to you. for the rest of the hour, not a single word was spoken.
he didn’t feel the need to say something, because you letting him sit there, was all the validation he needed, it was everything he craved for. but you, only kept him there because there was not a reason not to, he wasn’t lousy, he didn’t bother you, and he didn’t try anything weird.
and so, it was like a silent agreement that you two were always together. sunghoon would follow you around like a puppy, his bag slung over one shoulder, and a hand in his pocket. while you went about your day, not even speaking a word to him.
then when he asked you out, you accepted. maybe out of boredom and because your mother accepted him first or maybe because you could have felt something, there was still that tiny bit of chance that you did like him.
“ah, you’re still here, i thought you’d leave,” you came out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around your body, noticing he was sitting in the same position you left him, like a dog waiting for him owner. “sunghoon, you are allowed to leave, you know?” you raised a brow, and when you didn’t get a reply, you sighed, starting to change into your clothes.
sunghoon’s dark eyes followed your moves through the dimly lit room. even now, after years of ‘being together’, he was starting to realize that he knew all of you, but you didn’t know a bit of him. it was like he was always around for you, never the other way around. but what if he said something about it? would you finally get rid of him like he heard you’ve been wanting to?
“what do you want for breakfast tomorrow?” he asked. sunghoon didn’t give a damn if you wanted him out. he was going to fight for whatever relationship you have, because after all, he still loves you.
“uh, whatever i guess..” you muttered, putting on the heels, “okay, i’m done,” you stood up, clapping your hands, and turned to him. “so you’re staying after all right? can you receive an online order i got? it’s getting here tomorrow morning,” you asked, receiving a nod.
“okay then,” you confirmed he would do as said, and grabbed all your belongings, walking out of your room. right. when was the last time you ever said ‘love you’ or ‘goodbye’ to him. if something were to happen to him, would you feel bad? would you then start to appreciate him?
the silence hung in the air like a thick fog, heavy and suffocating. sunghoon watched you leave without a second thought, as if he was nothing more than a background detail in the story of your life. the door clicked shut behind you with finality, and he exhaled, his chest tightening with a pain that had become too familiar.
he hated how the love he gave you, the constant attention, the patience, it all seemed so invisible to you. why was he so loved by everyone else except you? you didn’t care to know what he liked, dislike, what sunghoon did in his free time and so. it was like he was just your shadow.
“will you ever see me?” he murmured, his voice barely audible in the empty space. the words fell into the void, unanswered.
the phone rang, a harsh, intrusive sound in the middle of the night. sunghoon’s body jerked awake, disoriented, his heartbeat already racing as his eyes flicked to the clock. 4:03 AM. his hand shot out instinctively to grab the phone, the screen flashing your name, and for a split second, his mind was filled with nothing but relief.
maybe you realized that you’d actually want to be with him. it was something he wished for, though it was weird. you never called him. maybe you needed something, or maybe you just got confused and dialed the wrong number. still, it warmed his heart that you could have drink called him.
but when he answered, it wasn’t you. it was another voice. he was used to you hanging around other men and going out with them, but this voice would never do something like that.
“sunghoon, it’s jungwon, y-you need to get here now!” jungwon’s voice was ragged, barely holding itself together. "you need to come to the hospital. she’s going into surgery.” he informed. it was likely that jungwon was dropping off something for his father, who was a surgeon, and suddenly came upon this.
his pulse stuttered in his throat, the words not quite registering at first. his mind spun with confusion, scrambling to latch onto something solid. "what? what do you mean? what happened?" sunghoon’s voice cracked as he pushed himself up in bed, his body stiff with panic, every fiber of his being already alert, bracing for something.
it should have been wrong for him to care about you, cause you never once did for him. if sunghoon were to disappear tomorrow, you’d probably notice when someone asked. but he couldn’t bear to have you away, not like this, not so sudden.
jungwon’s voice faltered again, like he was struggling to find the right words, or maybe even the strength to say them, he was always empathetic with his friends. "she was in a car crash. it’s bad, sunghoon. really bad. the others… they didn’t make it. she’s the only one… but she’s unconscious, and-"
a sick, metallic taste rose in sunghoon's mouth. his heart felt like it was stopping, like time itself had frozen in that one endless second.
"is she…?" sunghoon’s voice broke again, barely more than a whisper, like he was afraid to even speak the possibility aloud. the fear gnawed at him, crawled up his spine, twisted his stomach into knots.
"she was alive when they got here, but then she passed out. i don’t know how long it’ll be… or what’s going to happen." jungwon’s voice cracked, as though he too were barely holding it together. "you need to come, sunghoon. now. she might not even wake up."
the words hit him like a punch to the gut.
not even wake up.
sunghoon’s mind went blank. his hand trembled as he clutched the phone, his grip tightening until his knuckles ached. his chest felt like it was being squeezed by invisible hands, the pressure unbearable. the thought of you, lying motionless in a sterile hospital bed, surrounded by machines that would keep you alive but never truly bring you back, it was too much to comprehend.
"i’m coming," sunghoon’s voice was steady, but it felt like a lie. he was scared. his body was moving before he even realized, stumbling out of bed, legs shaking as he forced himself to stand. his mind was reeling, spinning in circles as the details swirled around him. car crash. surgery. you. you.
as he rushed out of the apartment, the cool night air did nothing to calm the raging storm inside him. his heart was racing, but it wasn’t just fear that gripped him. it was an unbearable sense of guilt.
in that moment of desperation, he finally understood why he cared so much. sunghoon had always watched you from afar, you never had anyone apart from yourself. never a true friend. everyone was a passerby in your life, and perhaps he was one too, but he had been determined not to be. he wanted you to have something real, someone who you trusted, someone you could rely on.
how many times had he put his own feelings aside, his own love, only to be treated like an afterthought? hadn’t he given you everything? he had waited. he had waited for you to need him, to come to him, to want him in a way that was real. but all that time, all that patience, did it matter now? was it too late for him to matter?
the hospital felt like a nightmare. everything about it was wrong, bright fluorescent lights that felt too harsh, cold hallways that smelled of antiseptic and despair. sunghoon's feet carried him through the corridors almost mechanically, his mind still reeling from the call.
you’re alive. you are in surgery but alive. every step felt heavier than the last.
he found jungwon near the entrance, his face pale in despair, eyes hollowed with exhaustion and grief. he didn’t speak at first. he didn’t need to. the unspoken words hung between them like a thick, suffocating fog. jungwon was somehow similar to sunghoon, although he didn’t want to force you to be his friend, he thought you deserved someone who was close to you. but not in that way. he didn’t approve how you basically stomped on sunghoon’s heart for free.
"she’s in there," jungwon finally said, voice quiet, strained. "my father came out some minutes ago, they… they’re doing everything they can. but sunghoon… her chances aren’t good."
his eyes flicked to the door leading to the intensive care unit, and sunghoon felt a sickening twist in his stomach. he stepped forward, but then, for a fleeting moment, doubt clouded his mind.
he couldn’t afford to let it consume him. he had spent too long waiting, waiting for you to finally see him, to love him, to understand. he had given you everything. everything.
but now, as he stood in front of that door, staring at the sterile room beyond, he couldn’t help but wonder, would it matter?
sunghoon hadn’t left your side. he couldn’t, even as the hours bled into days, even as the doctors had whispered about the “long road ahead” and the uncertainty of your condition. every beep of the machine was a reminder that you were still here, but not the same. not you. it was a shell, waiting for your consciousness to come back.
and then, one morning, after days of waiting, after nights of restless pacing, you woke up.
sunghoon sat in the sterile hospital room, his body aching from the hours he had spent perched on the edge of your bed, his eyes never leaving your still form. the steady beeping of the heart monitor was the only sound, a constant reminder that you were alive. but in some ways, you had already slipped away. he held your hand, his thumb brushing over your cold skin as if he could transfer the warmth of his love into you through touch. but it never worked.
the harsh hospital lights felt like they were closing in on him, their cold glare a sharp contrast to the soft warmth that had settled between him and you over the years. your eyes fluttered open, blinking as though you were still trapped in the fog of sleep. at first, he thought it was just another moment of consciousness, another brief flicker of awareness before you slipped back into the darkness.
but then you looked at him.
then, you had blinked slowly, confused, your eyes drifting across the room. your gaze never settled on him with warmth. not with affection. you didn’t even seem to notice the familiar face sitting by your side, the hands that had held you for so long, through all the arguments, the rejections, the coldness that you had never apologized for.
your eyes remained dull, vacant, as if you were waking from some distant dream, only to realize you had no idea where you were, or who was standing at your side.
"hey, it’s me," sunghoon had whispered, his voice breaking, trembling. he had felt his heart constrict painfully in his chest, his hands shaking as he reached for yours, desperate to make you feel loved. "i’ve been here… i’ve always been here for you. the whole time.”
but when you looked at him, it was like you were looking at a stranger. your face was blank, your eyes empty. and then, just when his chest tightened with the growing weight of fear, you asked a question that shattered him entirely.
“where’s my mom?” you said, your voice soft, distant.
his heart stopped. the world around him blurred.
your mother. sunghoon’s throat went dry. his pulse sped up, panic seizing him. he could feel the world start to crumble around him, the pain swallowing him whole.
"where is she?" you asked again, your voice more insistent, the emptiness in your tone turning to something else now, something deeper. "are you a doctor? i want to see her. why isn’t she here? she has to know i’m okay, i don’t want her to worry." you spoke, urging him, not even asking why you were in a hospital bed.
it had been years. years since she died, right before your graduation. years since you stood in front of the casket, holding his hand, eyes brimming with tears. he had been there for you when your world had fallen apart, when the grief had swallowed you whole, even if you’d known him for such a small amount of time. that had been the only instance he had seen you let your emotions out around him. the only time he had seen you actually care for someone. and now, she was gone, for the second time.
sunghoon’s stomach dropped as he realized it.
you didn’t remember her death. you didn’t remember how hard you had cried that day, how the world had felt like it had fallen apart when you stood alone. now you were asking where she was as if she were just gone for the day. as if your whole heart hadn’t crumbled the day you lost her.
and the worst part? you were asking the question, but you weren’t asking him, the one person who had been there for you, to help you understand. you were asking him like he was a stranger, a figure in the background.
his heart squeezed painfully as his breath hitched in his throat. “y/n…” his voice cracked, but he forced himself to continue, his eyes welling with tears. "she’s gone. your mom… she’s been gone for so long. i’m sorry. i’m so sorry, but she’s… she’s never coming back."
at that, something in you seemed to break.
something raw. your lips trembled as your gaze dropped, and your hands began to shake slightly. it was the second time he had seen any sign of emotion from you. your expression hardened for a moment, then softened, and before sunghoon could react, the first tear slipped from your eye.
he watched, in stunned silence, as the single drop fell, and then another followed, and another. and then, your body trembled, your chest heaving as a deep, broken sob escaped you. the sound broke him, cracked through the shell of numbness that had been surrounding you, and in an instant, you were crying, completely unraveling in front of him.
you didn’t remember the pain you’d gone through when she left you. but the truth of it, the horror of knowing your mother was gone, hit you with a brutal force now.
sunghoon stood frozen, his heart breaking in his chest as he watched you collapse into grief, your body shaking violently with sobs. the sight of it tore through him. the rawness of your sorrow was more real than anything.
you were grieving her all over again. you were grieving her, but this time, you were alone. even if you hadn’t cared about him, he was still there. now, he was a complete nobody to you.
sunghoon’s hand hovered, trembling, over your shoulder, desperate to offer some kind of comfort, some reassurance. but he hadn’t expected what happened next.
as his fingers brushed against your skin, you flinched violently, pulling away from him as though his touch burned. your body jerked in a sharp, panicked movement, your breath quickening as if he had just committed some unspeakable betrayal.
"don't fucking touch me!" you screamed, your voice raw, frantic, full of a sudden, terrifying rage that sunghoon wasn’t prepared for. "what did you do to her? what did you do to my mommy?!" you looked like a little kid, lost in a store, full of despair, alone, abandoned.
the words cut through the room like a blade, the accusation hanging in the air like a toxic cloud. sunghoon recoiled instinctively, the weight of your words crashing over him, leaving him stunned, speechless. he could barely process the intensity of your pain, the sheer volume of the fury radiating from you.
you were trembling, your eyes wide with fear, with anger, tears streaming down your face as you turned away from him, trying to scramble back in the bed, as though the very sight of him made your skin crawl.
"tell me what you did!" your voice cracked, jagged with despair and confusion. "what did you do to her? why did you, why did you let her go?!”
it was as though a switch had flipped inside you, a madness born from your trauma, your loss. you had lost your memories, but you were still trapped in the suffocating grief of a daughter who couldn't comprehend the finality of death. the very foundation of your identity was crumbling. and now, in this panic-stricken haze, sunghoon became the focal point of all your rage, all your hurt.
"why isn’t she here?" you clawed at the sheets, your hands shaking with the intensity of your breakdown. "where is she? i need her! now! what did you do?!”
your voice echoed in the sterile room, the frantic energy in your words tearing at the walls, until the room felt too small for the fury you unleashed. you were looking at him now, not with any recognition, but with venom, as if he had been the one to tear your world apart.
sunghoon stood frozen, his heart hammering in his chest. it was a punch he hadn’t expected. the weight of your accusations landing on him with suffocating force. he opened his mouth to speak, to explain, but the words wouldn’t come. how could he explain that you didn’t even remember your mother’s death? how could he make you understand that he wasn’t the one who had taken her from you?
his eyes welled up with fresh tears, but he bit his lip to hold them back, shaking his head desperately. "y/n, please. i didn’t do anything. i’m not, i never hurt her," he said, his voice cracking with the weight of his own sorrow. he didn’t know what to say, didn’t know how to calm you, how to help you make sense of the pain that was consuming you.
but the words didn’t reach you. you weren’t listening anymore. the madness in your eyes was too much, too overwhelming, and your voice only grew louder, more frantic.
"you’re lying! you’re lying to me!" you screamed, pulling at your hair, your face contorted in anguish. "you’re trying to cover it up! you’re lying! you’re lying!"
the madness in your eyes was suffocating, and sunghoon felt helpless, absolutely powerless to do anything but watch as you spiraled, consumed by grief and fear. you don’t remember her, but you remember the pain. you remember the loss. and now you’re looking for someone to blame.
the room felt smaller, air thinner, suffocating. he wanted to reach for you again, to hold you, to tell you that he hadn’t done anything to hurt you or your mother, but you were too lost, too far gone in the grip of your overwhelming grief. he took a step forward, but before he could get any closer, the door to the room flew open.
several doctors rushed in, their voices immediately cutting through the madness.
"we need to sedate her," one of them said urgently, his face a mask of professional concern. it was jungwon’s father. "she’s going into a severe emotional breakdown. we need to calm her down now before she hurts herself."
"no!" you screamed, your voice cracking with pure terror as the doctors tried to gently restrain you, to keep you from thrashing about. "don’t touch me! don’t touch me! just being my mommy please! i need her! what’s happening?!" you begged, being ignored constantly.
the doctors moved quickly, efficiently, as they administered an injection to calm you down. you screamed for a moment longer, your body still writhing beneath their hold, but the sedative began to take effect almost immediately. your breathing slowed, your cries turned into soft sobs, and the frantic movements of your body slowed to a near-stillness.
sunghoon stood in the corner of the room, numb, his entire body frozen as he watched the scene unfold. his hands shook violently at his sides, his chest tight with a crushing weight of despair. you were no longer the girl he had once known. you were a stranger, lost in a storm of confusion and grief, and there was nothing he could do to bring you back.
the doctor turned to him then, their expression sympathetic, but firm. "she’s experiencing severe memory loss due to the trauma of the accident. we’ll need to run more tests, but she’s clearly in distress. she’s reliving her grief, and it’s manifesting in these violent outbursts. her mind is trying to make sense of what’s happened, but she can’t understand it. she’s lost."
sunghoon’s knees buckled, and he sank into the nearest chair, his head falling into his hands as fresh tears poured down his face.
you didn’t remember him. you didn’t remember your mother. if you didn’t remember both. there was no one else in your life. you were completely alone.
you were lost.
you were slipping away from him, piece by piece, and there was nothing he could do to stop it. because you would have never let him. he didn’t care if he was important enough to be remembered, that didn’t matter anymore.
the room had gone eerily silent, the only sounds the soft beeping of machines and the faint rustling of the doctors movements. sunghoon could barely breathe through the suffocating weight of the situation. he had always known that losing you would break him, but he hadn’t realized how completely it would shatter him until now.
his eyes were fixed on you, still lying in the bed, sedated now, but your face was a mask of innocence, frozen in that moment of pure loss. you looked so young, so fragile.
the doctors were still in the room, their voices quiet but filled with a clinical understanding that sunghoon could barely grasp.
“she’s in an acute state of dissociative amnesia,” doctor yang explained, looking at the chart in his hands, speaking to sunghoon but also to the team around them. “it’s not uncommon with traumatic injuries like the ones she sustained in the accident. but we’re also seeing something else.”
sunghoon’s gaze flickered to the familiar doctor, confused and lost in a fog of grief. his throat was tight, his mind struggling to make sense of what was happening. “what else?” he whispered hoarsely, his voice broken.
“the trauma to her brain has caused a significant regression,” the doctor continued, his voice softening slightly, as if trying to cushion the blow. “she’s reverted back to her mental state from when she was in her senior year possibly. she’s essentially lost a part of herself. emotionally and cognitively, she’s been pulled back to that time. before all of this. before everything that’s happened in the last few years.”
sunghoon felt his chest tighten at the words. senior year? back to senior year? the words felt like a cruel joke, a twisting knife in the very heart of his memory.
“how is that even possible?” he asked weakly, his voice trembling. “how could she… forget everything? how could she forget me?… scratch that, she doesn’t even remember her mother.”
doctor yang gave a slow nod, clearly understanding the pain in sunghoon’s voice. "it’s common in cases of severe trauma," he explained. "in some cases, the mind protects itself by essentially 'erasing' the time that feels too painful. for her, that means the death of her mother, and perhaps… everything that came after. it’s as if she’s rewound the clock, mentally returning to that phase in her life. the person she was when she was 17."
sunghoon couldn’t move. he couldn’t think. his world had just collapsed in on itself.
“her emotional development since that time is disconnected,” the doctor continued gently. “she’s essentially stuck in that version of herself. the girl she was before all the trauma, before the grief of losing her mother, before all the years you two have spent together. she may not even remember who you are, or if she does, it might be as some vague figure from her past, someone she used to know.”
the words felt like they were smothering sunghoon. his heart pounded in his chest as the doctor’s voice seemed to echo in his head. the girl she was when she was 17.
that girl, the one who had barely spoken to him beyond pleasantries, the one who had brushed him off time and time again, the one who didn’t seem to see him for the years he spent loving her. that girl who knew he would walked behind her every day.
a sudden coldness washed over him. there was a difference between you at this age, and you in high school. back when you were 17, you were an emotional wreck, everyone’s feelings were a game to you. and even if you still had some of those traits now, no amount of mean comments would take away the years he had been by your side.
“is there any chance she’ll come back?” sunghoon’s voice cracked with the question. the word ‘come back’ felt like the ultimate lie on his lips. come back from what? as if you were totally different to him.
the doctor looked at him with sad, tired eyes. "it’s difficult to say. memory loss from trauma like this is unpredictable. she may remember parts of her past, pieces of her life, or she may not. but it's important to understand that right now... she’s not the person she was. she’s stuck in a moment of her life that’s far behind, and all the years since then. your relationship, her grief, everything. are inaccessible to her. it’s like waking up from a dream and finding that nothing has changed, that you’re still in the same place you were before."
sunghoon’s stomach twisted painfully as the words settled in, cold and harsh. you didn’t remember anything. from the years that had passed. your mother’s death. your shared time together. your love, his love for you.
and now, you were a ghost from the past, frozen at the moment when everything had seemed relatively simpler, when your heart hadn’t yet been broken by life, when the world had yet to show you how much pain it could cause. the girl you had once been, so egoistic, so unknowing. and yet, somehow, so much more alive than the hollow shell of yourself that lay before him now.
sunghoon let his head fall into his hands, his whole body shaking with silent sobs. how did we get here? why is this happening? he had fought for you for so long. he had been there when no one else was. he had endured your coldness, your indifference, always telling himself that one day, you would realize.
but now, standing in this sterile room, staring at the broken version of you who couldn’t even remember her own mother, he wondered if he was even real to you anymore.
you were lost to him. and in so many ways, he had lost you long before the crash. but this was a pain unlike anything he had ever felt. you had always been distant, but now, you were gone entirely, unable to see him as the one who had loved you, as the one who had held you when you cried, as the one who had always been there.
"you don’t remember me," sunghoon whispered to himself, as if speaking the words would somehow make them less true. "you don’t remember anything. you’re just... gone."
the doctor’s words seemed to fade into the background as sunghoon stood there, overwhelmed by a wave of emotion so deep it almost consumed him. you had finally slipped away, and there was nothing left of the person he had loved so desperately.
and for the first time, he realized that even if you woke up, even if you remembered, even if you somehow found your way back to him. it wouldn’t change the fact that you never once felt love for him.
the sun was gentle, casting soft golden rays through the canopy of a massive tree. its branches reached wide, stretching into the sky as if welcoming the warmth of the spring day. the ground was dotted with delicate flowers, the air crisp with the scent of new life, the kind of serenity that only spring could offer. you were sitting underneath that tree, the soft breeze playing with the hem of your dress, your fingers grazing the grass beneath you. everything felt still, yet alive. an ethereal peace wrapped around you like a gentle hug.
your heart felt light, unburdened by the heaviness of the world, untouched by time. you had forgotten where you were or what had come before, but you felt a warmth that seemed to seep into your very bones. for a moment, everything made sense.
then, a rustling came from the tall, golden plants that stretched in a field before you. your breath caught in your throat.
the air shifted, the breeze growing stronger as you stood, your eyes scanning the distance. through the swaying plants, a figure emerged, small and bounding toward you. it was a dog, running full speed, its fur glistening like gold in the sunlight. a wave of joy crashed over you as you recognized him.
tudor.
your childhood dog, the one who had followed you everywhere when you were young, with his golden locks, warm eyes, and boundless love. he had always known how to make you feel safe, even when the world seemed too big, too overwhelming.
tudor reached you in a blur of motion. his paws landed gently on your chest as he jumped into your arms, licking your face with affection, as if greeting you after years of absence. tears welled in your eyes as you hugged him, feeling the warmth of his body against yours. it had been so long, you had forgotten how his presence could make you feel so loved, so at home. though you had felt something similar to that love.
and then, another figure appeared.
a woman walked slowly toward you, her steps measured, graceful, as if the earth itself was cradling her. she had the same complexion as you, the same soft glow to her skin, but she was older, more radiant, as though she had lived many lives in her time. her eyes, those eyes, locked with yours, full of love, of understanding. she was so much like you, yet so different.
it was like looking into a mirror, yet seeing someone far more complete than you could ever feel. she was so full of life, so warm, so alive.
“mom?” the word slipped from your lips like a prayer, and she smiled, soft, peaceful, as though she had been waiting for this moment.
“mom!” you stepped toward her, your heart thundering, tears pooling in your eyes. it wasn’t just the joy of seeing her again, but the relief, the sense of home that flooded through you. you couldn’t stop yourself. you dropped to your knees and threw your arms around her, burying your face in her chest. she held you tight, her arms wrapping around you like the most familiar embrace. it was as though all the years of longing, of missing her, had vanished in that instant. you had finally come home.
you felt something delicate in her hands, and she gently placed a white rose in your hair. you giggled, the sound light and free, as though the burden of the world had been lifted from your shoulders. everything was perfect here, warmth, love, family.
but then, more figures appeared, joining the two of you. your father, grandparents, aunts, uncles. all there, gathered around you, their faces full of warmth, their eyes full of love. they surrounded you, welcoming you into something new, so full of love, full of peace, full of home.
you closed your eyes, the sense of belonging overwhelming you. this was where you were meant to be. this was the place you had always been searching for.
everything grew still. the warmth faded, replaced by the coldness of reality.
“you’re still so close, but yet so far…”
sunghoon was kneeling at a grave. his hands trembled as he placed a bouquet of white roses down on the ground, his eyes red from crying, his body heavy with grief. he didn’t understand why life had been so cruel to him. he had loved you, loved you with everything he had. but it had never been enough.
you hadn’t loved him. you had forgotten him, lost yourself to time and trauma. and then, when things seemed to be getting better, complications had taken you away from him, too soon, too violently. sunghoon stared at the gravestone, his fingers brushing the cold stone.
but then, he realized something, the weight of it crashing over him. he wasn’t angry. he wasn’t bitter. he was simply thankful.
you had found peace. you had found your mother again, found your way back to the ones who truly loved you. that was all that mattered. you were free of the pain. you could finally rest.
because after all this time, he will always love you more than you could yourself. that was his goal, and he was happy that he did his best to show you love.
and then, there was you. you were looking down at him. from wherever you were, you could see his grief, feel the weight of it in your chest. but more than that, you could feel the love. the love you had always felt for him, that you had always known was there. you loved him so much. more than you had ever known. he was enough for you, more than it.
but you had pushed him away. because you couldn’t bear to see him suffer as you had. you didn’t want him to be dragged down the path of destruction, not like you had. you didn’t want him to drown in the pain of loving someone who couldn’t show any emotion beyond anger back, who had been broken beyond repair.
you had to let him go. even if it tore you apart, you had to let him go. for his sake. because you did love him.
perhaps, one day, you would reunite. and when that time came, he wouldn’t be a stranger to you anymore. you would remember everything. the love, the pain, the mistakes, and the healing. and when that day came, you would hold him again, this time knowing how deeply you had always loved him.
and so, with a quiet sigh, you let yourself rest, knowing that he would be okay. because, somewhere in your heart, you knew that love would find its way back to you, whenever the time was right.
MASTERLIST.
BTW: um. so yeah….

Broken Bonds-Part 22
Greg "Mouse" Gerwitz x Reader, Jay Halstead x Reader
Jay finds out what happened between you and Mouse. You have to figure out your footing moving forward and what to do next.
Warnings: mentions of cheating, sexual acts, cursing
A/N: yall trust me it does actually end happy lol
Jay called you a little after five to see if you and Addy wanted to go out for supper. You were currently sitting on the floor with her, playing with her toys. You watched her for a second before saying “I’m not really feeling up to going out but if you want to take her you know you’re always welcomed to” he was quiet for a moment before saying “It’s not a big deal sweetheart, maybe tomorrow if you’re up to it. Do you need anything?”
You rolled your bottom lip between your teeth as your fingers found the dog tags hanging from your neck, a wave of guilt washing over you as memories of Mouse’s hands on your body the night before hit you. You didn’t regret it, you would never regret any moment spent in his arms but the reality was you cheated on Jay. Right or wrong, that was the reality and your only hope was to keep him from finding out until after Mouse was in Georgia so maybe you could contain the situation slightly.
“No, I’m good” you replied after a moment and he let out a breath “Ok, give Addy a kiss for me” then hung up. You stared at the phone for a moment before laying it down next to you. You picked it back up and reread the text Mouse had sent you just an hour before I love you, just wanted to remind you of that you felt tears spring to your eyes. What were the chances of Jay not figuring it out? Hell three days ago you’d told him you loved him then you spent friday night in Mouse’s arms.
Addy reached for your leg so you sat the phone down, completely forgetting both men in favor of your baby girl. You scooped her up with a smile. “Hey baby” she made a ma sound and picked at the chain of the dog tags around your neck. You laughed and ran a hand over her curls. “Let’s go out, just me and you” you needed to clear your head and concentrate on what mattered which was her. She smiled, drooling a little and you felt your heart flip. She was the one who had your whole heart. You would figure out the rest tomorrow. Tonight you just wanted her.
Sunday morning your wakeup was when your phone went off with a text from Stella Can we get breakfast? You ran a hand down your face, cutting your eyes at the alarm clock to see it was a little before eight. Yeah, something up? You pushed your blanket off and swung your legs out of the bed before she texted back No, I just want updates and to know if I’m gonna need to intervene with anything up until thursday
You laughed lightly and texted back My hero. We’ll meet you in forty ma’am you tossed your phone down on the bed and decided to get yourself dressed before waking Addy up.
You picked a pair of cutoffs with a thin shirt and your favorite sneakers. It was still pretty freaking hot most days. You turned in front of the mirror, the dog tag chain apparent because you’d yet to take them off besides when you showered.
___________________
You were headed out of the door towards your jeep when your phone started chiming with texts. Considering she was on your hip along with your purse and her diaper bag you couldn’t check them until you got her loaded into her seat and you were around and buckled.
You clicked on the first message which was from Mouse Have a good day I love you you smiled and sent back I love you too
You clicked the next message and your smile dropped, your heart twisting because it was from Jay Sweetheart, we need to talk. Call me when you can you stared at that text and for the first time in a long time you took the coward's way out and dropped your phone into your purse. You couldn’t face him. Fuck, what were you supposed to do? You loved Mouse. You were happy to have him home and have the chance but you had to rip Jay’s heart out to do so and that man had been nothing but perfect to you.
You blinked back tears and started your engine. Stella, you needed Stella.
_______________
You sat across from Stella, Addy in her arms as she listened to you. “So you stayed with him friday night?” you nodded “I ended up going to his room about eight thirty? I got home about seven thirty” she let out a low whistle “So you two had a reunion”
You felt your face warm at her tone. “I mean, Stel, if it was Kelly and you had another chance to be in his arms..wouldn’t you take it?” she nodded “Of course. Sweetie, I know how in love you and Greg have always been. That man has never fallen out of love with you even when you were about to explode with Addy, knowing she belonged to his best friend he still worshiped the ground you walked on. That’s all I ask for” “But?” you asked and she shook her head “No but. You know me, I have your back on anything and everything. Me and Kelly are having dinner with Greg tomorrow night”
You raised an eyebrow and she smiled “I want to make sure he’s in earnest about this. I don’t want you getting hurt again. He has your heart and I just want to be certain you have his” you nodded “Being in his arms again, it felt like being home” she reached across the table and squeezed your hand gently “Then I support you” you dropped your gaze to your hands “But now I have to tell Jay that I cheated on him”
When she didn’t say anything you slowly raised your eyes to see she was playing with Addy’s hair with one hand and watching you with the other “I can be there? I can be waiting in the wings, I can keep her that night. Whatever you need” “Thank you Stel. I swear I never meant to fuck my life up this much” she shook her head “Bite your tongue woman. You’re my little sister. I’ll do anything you need me to. As for you fucking your life up? I can’t blame those two idiots for being head over heels for you, you’re amazing”
You laughed lightly “I don’t feel amazing. Plus if they end up hating each other how do I make things work for her?” she shrugged “You always have me and Kelly” you smiled “I know. Now let's eat, if you’re off today we can take her to the zoo as long as intelligence doesn’t get called in”
She shrugged one shoulder “What if we called Jay to come? That way you’re not freezing him out but I’m there as a buffer so it’s nothing weird and maybe it’ll keep things from blowing up until thursday” you nodded “Ok”
You pulled your phone out and texted Jay Me and Stella are taking Addy to the zoo in about an hour. You wanna go? It didn’t take him long to text back Sure. I’ll meet you three there
_______________
You stood with Stella next to your jeep. Addy was in her stroller. You spotted Jay’s truck pull into the lot and she slipped her arm into yours “You’re shaking honeybee. Calm down” you shot her a smile “Thank you” she nodded “Of course”
He parked a few places down from you then climbed out. He was wearing the same thing he’d worn on the fourth of july. His pendant dangling loosely. You smiled when he met your eyes “Hey” he smiled “Hey” then he turned his attention to Addy, squatting in front of her stroller to grab her hand “Hey baby” she started babbling the moment she heard him and reaching for him.
He cut his eyes up at you “Can we ditch the stroller? I can carry her through here” you shrugged “Sure” he unbuckled her and picked her up, a genuine smile slipping onto his face when she grabbed a tiny handful of his shirt. That baby had always owned his heart. Stella shot you a look as you opened the back of your jeep to return the stroller.
He waited for you to get the stroller squared away then looked at Addy, tickling her stomach “Tell mommy and aunt Stella to come on. We’re gonna go see some lions, yeah” you shook your head “She doesn’t just have to see the predators Jay” Stella laughed “She is a product of the two of you though”
You laughed “Well damn Stel, thanks for that rousing endorsement” Jay raised his hand and for a second you thought he was going to reach for yours but he pointed towards the gate “Well let’s go see what she likes and settle the debate once and for all”
________________
The three of you spent about three hours wandering around the zoo until Addy fell asleep on Jay’s shoulder. When you noticed you made your way back to your jeep and he eased her down into her seat and buckled her in.
Stella stood back, watching the two of you closely. “Sweetheart, can we talk?” he asked and you nodded “Yeah, about what?” his eyes flickered from your eyes down your face a little then back up “Just about some things. Doesn’t have to be today. Just in the next few days” “Ok” you replied and he nodded then leaned forward and pressed a kiss to your temple “I love you”
He walked away without waiting for a response. Stella walked up next to you and looked at his retreating back “Does he already know?” you shook your head “I don’t think so” “I think he may suspect something” she replied and you felt your stomach knot.
_______________________
When you got home that night after Addy was in bed you sat down in the living room and hit Mouse’s number in your phone. He answered on the second ring. “Hey” you smiled just hearing his voice “Hey”
“What’s wrong?” he asked and you cursed the fact that he knew you so damn well that just hearing one damn word he could pick out your mood. “So much” He was quiet for a moment before saying “Is this where you say you regret it?” you felt your heart crumple at how broken he sounded. “Never, Greg I meant it. You’re the love of my life. The one made for me” you could hear him take a breath before he asked “Then why do I hear a but in your voice?”
You took a deep breath “I fucked up again. I made love to you which was amazing and god I missed it so much and I love you so much but I didn’t break things off with Jay” “Oh baby” he cooed and you felt tears spring to your eyes at how gentle he was talking to you. Why the hell did they both have to take such gentle approaches with you?
“I want to see you” you whispered. “Just tell me when and where. I’ll make it happen” he replied and you smiled “I have to meet Jay for drop off at the daycare in the morning but then I have like a thirty minute period before I have to be in”
“I’ll see you then baby” he replied and a smile slipped onto your face “I love you Greg” “I love you too”
You pulled into the daycare parking lot and parked next to Jay’s truck. He got out and was already unbuckling Addy by the time you were around the jeep to his side. You watched as he smiled down at her “Hey baby girl. Daddy missed you” you felt more guilt hit you because since wednesday of the previous week he’d gone from spending most nights with her to only seeing her one night.
“You know she can stay with you more if you want Jay” you offered as the two of you walked towards the door of the daycare. He nodded “I know. I also know you have nightmares and like looking in on her to calm down from them” you felt a smile barely slip onto your face.
_______________
After you walked out from signing Addy in you headed for your jeep but Jay stopped you with one hand on your wrist “Can we talk?” you nervously twisted your ring “I gotta stop somewhere on the way to work” he nodded “Ok, later?” “Later” you replied with a smile, trying to ignore how sad his eyes looked.
____________
You and Mouse had grabbed a coffee and were now walking by the waterfront. You just needed a breather and to be near him. His hand was dangling loosely between the two of you so you grabbed it, squeezing gently and saw a smile slip onto his face “What’s going on in that beautiful head of yours?” he asked, cutting his eyes at you.
You smiled, stopping to push his hair out of his face “For one, I’m so gonna miss your hair when it has to get cut” he grinned at your touch “I can always grow it back out for you baby” you laughed lightly “I’ve missed hearing you call me that” “I’ve missed calling you that” he replied, his hands going to your waist to pull you closer to him. You braced your hands on his chest and smiled up at him as he said “Talk to me, really”
You took a deep breath “I’ve got to tell him Greg. I was with him up until you got home. That morning I woke up in the bed with him and told him I loved him” you could tell that hurt him but he swallowed the emotion the moment he showed it “What do you want here baby?”
You picked at the collar of his t-shirt “You. I never stopped loving you for one minute. He knew that even when I told him I’d fallen for him I let him know I hadn’t fallen out of love with you and probably never would. He accepted it. I just..I never wanted to hurt him either. Jay has been such a good man to me, in every way. He is the best father to Adeline and I don’t want to lose him, I don’t want to lose that bond because I do love him Greg just not like I love you”
He nodded slowly, eyes not meeting yours “Are you gonna keep sleeping with him too?” “What?” you let your shock bleed into your voice as his eyes flew back to yours “Greg, do you think so little of me?” he shook his head “Baby I didn’t mean it like that…hell you could tell me you planned to and it wouldn’t change anything on my end..I belong to you..well and thoroughly” he touched the chain around your neck “You have my heart entirely, anyone else’s body just wouldn't’ feel right under me. If you wanted him, so be it”
“I want you, the only reason I’m letting you leave Chicago is because you’ve gotta go to training” you teased, pulling him into a kiss. He smiled against your lips “I love you so damn much” “I love you too” you replied once you leaned back. He took a deep breath “Your sister and her husband are interrogating me tonight” you grimaced “Sorry?”
He shrugged “Isn’t the first time Stella has promised to kill me” you laughed “See? That’s why I love you. You don’t even blink in the eye of my sister’s wrath” he winked at you “Oh baby believe me I just have a good poker face. She gets scary over you” You shook your head “Sorry?” he shrugged “I’ll be ok. Are you gonna be ok? If this with Jay is too much right now we can cool it until I get back. Baby you know I’m not going to want anyone else. I’ll come home to you then we’ll handle it”
You shook your head “I think he already knows so it’s a little too late. I’mjust so sick of hurting everyone no matter what I do” he slipped his arms around you to pull you against his chest “It’s ok sweetheart” you shook your head “It’s really not. You and Jay both should hate me”
He pulled back to look you in the eye and gave you one of those smiles you loved “We never did listen to what we should do anyways” you shook your head and looked at the time “I gotta get to work” he nodded “Yes ma’am. I’ll see you later”
“Come on, show me something” you whispered, trying to get a hit on the partial the camera had picked up from a crime scene. Jay walked into the room behind you “Got anything?” you shook your head “Not yet”
He came to stand next to you, staring at the screen. You felt one of his hands on the back of the chair, thumb gracing your back right where the dog tag chain was. “Can I come over tonight? I wanna see Addy and we can talk” you knew there was no more avoiding it so you nodded “Ok”
He nodded “Ok” about that time a ding chimed through the room and your eyes lit up “I think we got something”
“I’ll get everyone down to roll up” he offered with a nod.
______________
You stood between Kevin and Jay, waiting for Voight to call it. “Hit it” rang over the coms. “CHICAGO PD” rang out from every direction as doors were kicked in. One woman came running out swinging a bat. Jay ducked, grabbing the bat with one hand. You instinctively ducked under his arm that held the bat and punched her in the side to force her to drop the bat.
When it clattered to the floor she tried to swing with her other hand to hit him so you spun, catching her with an elbow to the face. She went down so you pulled your cuffs and flipped her to her stomach “Don’t know what your original charge would’ve been sweetheart but you just earned assault on an officer” you cut your eyes up at Jay “You good?” he nodded “She didn’t get a chance to lay a hand on me”
Kevin winked at you “Go ahead lil mama” before moving further into the house. You passed her to a uniform before joining the rest of the unit.
______________
Once the final arrests were made everyone headed back to the precinct to start paperwork and final interviews. You wanted to handle the bitch that tried to ping Jay with a freaking bat but Hank called it a conflict of interest and passed it to Hailey leaving you a five ten drug dealer named Barney.
It didn’t take long to break Barney so you finished the report on him and began to help anyone else that needed it. You were at your desk when Jay walked through the bullpen. He stopped just in front of your desk “Thank you” you raised an eyebrow “For what?” he motioned towards the holding cells so you shrugged “A woman tried to hurt you Jay. Kind of my job to get you home to Addy”
He smiled slightly “Was pretty smooth moves, gotta admit” you grinned “Yeah, it’s one a couple rangers taught me from training with them in the gym once upon a time” he laughed “They may be assholes but at least they did something right by making sure you can protect yourself” he tapped your desk then walked off.
Stella had already snuck you a photo of Mouse and Kelly at dinner and from the looks of it those two were getting along well enough. You knew she was laying the law down and Kelly would never repeat anything that he heard, that man worshiped your sister. You adored him simply for that.
When your phone rang around seven you knew it was Jay. He’d timed it so Addy would have about half an hour, forty five minutes until bed. “Hello?” you answered and he said “I’m outside” “You have a key” you reminded and he let out a breath “Didn’t know if I should use it”
You walked over and opened the door. He stood on your top step with a small smile “Hi” “Hi” you greeted and stepped to the side to let him in.
You watched him walk over to Addy’s playpen and pick her up. “She hasn’t had a bath or anything if you want to do bedtime routine” he nodded without looking at you “Will you grab me a diaper and pjs?” “Of course” you replied so he headed to the bathroom with her in his arms.
__________________
You didn’t want to intrude on Jay and Addy’s time so you stood at the door of her room watching as he put her down to sleep, tracing patterns on her stomach like he used to when she was tiny. Your heart ached seeing it. A part of you wished you would have forgotten how you felt for Mouse, would’ve fully been able to commit to Jay because fuck he was a good man. You didn’t want to hurt him, you didn’t want to lose him. You couldn’t exactly have them both either.
Once she was fully out he cut his eyes up at you and smiled before walking out of her room, pulling the door almost closed behind him. You stepped back to let him out, his chest brushing against yours. You looked up at him and for a moment the two of you just stood there staring at each other before you broke your eyes away first “You want some water or something? I think there’s some soda too”
He shook his head “No, I’m ok. Can we just sit and talk?” you nodded, not wanting to face what was coming. You suddenly wished you were wearing anything other than the t-shirt and sleep shorts you’d put on after your shower. You did at least have the presence of mind to leave Mouse’s dogtags on the table next to your bed to not rub them directly in his face.
________________
You walked over to the couch, curling one leg under you to turn to face him. He sat down next to you and bought one hand up to gently grip your face “You’re so damn beautiful sweetheart” “Jay” you whispered, feeling tears spring to your eyes. He leaned forward to brush a featherlight kiss against your lips and you felt your tears start to fall as he pulled back from you “Baby I know”
“How?” you asked and he tapped your neck gently “I saw the chain when I dropped Addy off. I know what that means, add in how your voice sounded..didn’t take much to figure it out”
“I didn’t mean for it to happen Jay..I really didn’t” you whispered, afraid that if you raised your voice you would completely break. He nodded “I know..I know you’re not the type of woman to set out to cheat” you dropped your gaze down to your hands and heard him shift on the couch before he gripped your chin again “Do you know how it feels knowing that all this time…I was in love with you..and I was just a placeholder?”
You turned your head slightly to press a kiss to his hand “You weren’t a placeholder Jay. You’re an amazing man. You’re the best father Addy could ever have, you never left my side when I was pregnant. You’re my best friend. I truly do love you” “And yet he wasn’t even back two full days before he had you in bed” he whispered, thumb tracing the side of your face as he held you in place.
“I never lied to you that I still loved him” you defended and he nodded, eyes searching yours “No,you didn’t. I guess I should’ve just listened more with my heart than my ear” you were crying in earnest by then “Jay I don’t want to lose you. Addy needs you..I need you”
He nodded “Baby I’d never leave our daughter in a million years and I promised you I would never leave you and I won’t but it’s gonna take me a little while…I thought this was it..that you loved me as much as I loved you” you saw tears start to form in his eyes and felt your heart crumple “Jay..” he leaned forward and pressed a gentle kiss to your lips which you returned before he pulled away “I love you Y/N and I always will. You gave me the best thing that could ever happen to me. I will be here at your side whenever you need me but it is hurting like hell to know I can no longer touch you or hold you like I want to. He’s the love of your life and you’re the love of mine so I don’t know where that leaves us”
You hadn’t realized how hard you were crying until he pulled you against his chest “It’s ok baby, it’s ok” you shook your head and shoved against his chest “Please stop being nice to me!” he shook his head “No”
You felt yourself crying harder “Neither of you should want me. I’ve been horrible to you both. I hurt him time and again and now I’m hurting you..I’m fucking poison” “No, you’re not. Baby you’re human. You’re gonna make mistakes. You’re gonna hurt people, you can’t save everyone, no matter how much you think you should be able to take care of everyone”
You shook your head, climbing off the couch and wrapping both arms around yourself “Can you leave Jay? Please. This has nothing to do with him. I wouldn’t want to be around him either” he stood up and took a tentative step towards you “Sweetheart..”
You shook your head “Please” he nodded “Ok. I’ll see you in the morning for drop off?” You nodded “I’ll see you in the morning”
_______________
You managed to hold it together until Jay closed the door behind himself then you slid down it and the sobs started to wrack your body. What did you have that you could offer your baby girl when you couldn’t even go a week without inflicting damage on the two men you claimed to love?
Mouse didn’t know who was knocking on his hotel room door at two in the morning. He figured it was another drunk that had the wrong room. That had occurred twice already. He had not expected Jay to be standing at his doorway. “Do I need to duck here or what?” he asked and Jay shook his head “No, we need to talk”
Mouse stepped back so Jay could walk into the room “Come on in”

(You scared me ) RHEA RIPLEY X JEY USO
Chapter 23
_________________________________________________
Jey was walking around backstage. Jimmy had hit him up, telling him to meet him after he was done with whatever he was doing.
He ran his hands down his face. He was tired; he didn’t sleep very well last night. He got only 4 or 5 hours of sleep before he had to get up and drive all the way to Jacksonville. This morning he tried to get some sleep when he got to the arena, but when sleep finally found him, he had to get up and get ready for his match. He was exhausted.
He walked into the locker room where Jim told him to meet him at
Jimmy was sitting on a wooden bench. Putting his shoes on, he lifted his head up, looking at him as he walked.
Hey, Uce, he sat back against the wall. What are you doing?
Nothing. Wish I was asleep, but your ass called. He said, lying down on the bench next to him What do you want, Uce?
Jim hit him on his shoulder, getting his attention.
I talked to Roman about what happened.
He let out a deep breath. I told your ass to leave it alone, Uce, he said, sitting up straddling the bench.
You told Naomi to leave it alone. He scoffed, You didn’t tell me to do shit, Uce. I’m just looking out.
I don’t need you to; I got it.
You do? You're handing it uce? He said sarcastically, leaning forward and resting his arms on his knees.
Yeah, I’m handling it, so fuck off, he said, throwing his left leg over the bench.
Damn, alright, Uce, he put his hands up in defense. I’ll leave it alone; just call if you need something, alright?
Alright, my bad, uce. I’m just tired, he said, rubbing his hand down his face. What did Roman say?
He just told me you told him about Rhea, and then you blew up at him.
He kissed his teeth. I didn’t blow up at him; I was just done with his shit, acting like she was just some fucking booty call.
Well, you know how he is; you can’t let it get to you, uce.
I know, I know, just you and Naomi like her so much. I just want him to like her too, he said, letting his head hang.
I feel you just don’t let it ruin this shit for you, uce. He said, putting his hand on his shoulder.
Yeah, I know.
So then if you know why you're losing sleep about it, he said more as a statement than a question.
He looked down at the floor between his feet, seeing Jimmy looking at him through the corner of his eye; he turned his head to the side, looking over at the door.
Jimmy let out a sigh before pushing up on his knees, standing up. Alright, Uce, come on, let’s go.

Rhea walked back backstage with Naomi and Bianca by her side, all of them laughing as they walked out of gorilla
I didn’t know you had it like that, big mama! Naomi said, smacking her on her ass.
Ai! That still hurts! she exclaimed, rubbing the spot Bianca had hit with her braids a moment ago.
I told you it hurts, but you didn’t believe me. Bianca said, putting her hands up in defense.
I should have believed you because damn, this hurts!
I still remember the first time I got hit with it. Woo, it hurt like hell. I’m never going to make that mistake again.
Me either; it’s probably going to leave a mark, huh? She said, looking towards Bianca,
She laughed; it’s already leaving a mark.
Aw, really, her words turned to giggles as she felt strong arms wrap around her body, spinning her around, the scent of cedar wood filling her nose.
Hey, babygirl, I missed you. Jey said kissing her cheek
Hi, she turned her body in his arms, kissing him on the lips. I missed you too.
I don’t get a hug or anything, Naomi said, crossing her arms.
He sucked his teeth. Girl I just saw you yesterday. I haven’t seen you in weeks, he said, bringing his attention back to her.
Oh my god, get a room! Jimmy said, annoyed but joking, putting his arm around his wife's shoulder.
Fuck you, he said, letting go of her, one of his arms still wrapped around her waist.
We got a match, so don’t get distracted, he said, wagging a finger at him.
He rolled his eyes. All right, whatever. I’ll see you later, babygirl.
Alright, she gave him another kiss. Love you.
Love you too, he pulled away from her. Come on, Uce, he said, hitting Jimmy across the chest. Let’s go.
All right, Uce, keep playing, he said before giving Naomi a kiss on the cheek and following after Jey.
Ok, can we get some food now? Naomi said, pointing behind her down the hallway.
Oh, you can’t eat your banoffee with Jimmy around? Bianca teased
No, I can’t; he doesn’t like me eating all that sugar, but what is he going to do? She said, turning around and skipping away.
She looked towards Bianca. Come on, we got to make sure she doesn’t eat it all. She wrapped her arm around her shoulder.
You're right. She said, chuckling, walking with her
They made their way to catering, grabbing a table to sit at. They both watched Naomi from the table scoop a big slice of banoffee into a bowl before joining them at their table with a smile on her face.
I swear you're more happy to see that than your only husband, she laughed.
She didn’t say anything, just shoveling a spoonful of banoffee in her mouth.
They sat around for a while just talking, waiting for the boys to finish their match.
They eventually found them walking over to them. Are you eating that shit again? How many bowls had she had? Jimmy asked them both
Naomi looked between them, telling them not to tell him.
Only one right, Bianca?
Yeah, just one, Bianca said, looking back at Jimmy.
Uhhh, yeah, sure, just one bowl, he said, sitting down next to her.
Y’all got anything else to do? Jey said, sitting down next to Rhea.
So just fuck us, huh? Jimmy said, pointing at all of them.
Oh, here his ass goes, uce. He said, leaning back in his chair, his hair all fluffy from his match.
You don’t want to hang out with us anymore, Jey! Naomi said, taking another bitebite.
Hell no, I love y’all, but no, I’m good. We’ll see y’all in the morning. He pushed up on his knees, standing up.
She stood up smiling, waving at them before they walked away, grabbing his hand.
Have fun! Bianca yells at them.
But not too much fun! Jimmy yell
Jey flipped him off as they walked away.
Rhea grabbed his hoodie off the ground from their bed, putting it on, covering her naked body.
Jey walked out of the bathroom in a pair of black basketball shorts, his hair even more fluffy.
Damn, babygirl, you get more and more beautiful every time I see you, he said, his voice a little hoarse.
She couldn’t help but blush at his words. He always told her how pretty she was. He had just a moment ago, actually.
Thank you, baby, you look good too.
You want your gift now?
Oh yeah, let me get yours. She threw back the blanket, standing up and looking through her suitcase on the floor, the clock catching her eye. It was almost 12:30. She decided to grab a pair of underwear while she was up as well. She grabbed the middle-sized box that was very nicely wrapped in blue snowman paper.
She turned around. Jey was standing there with his hands behind his back. Ok, before I give it to you, I had some help. I wasn’t sure what to get you, and if you don’t like it, I’ll get you something else, alright?
I’ll love it no matter what, baby, so here she said, handing him his gift.
He pulled a tall black and purple gift bag from behind his back, trading gifts.
She moved, sitting back in her spot on the bed. He sat down on the edge in front of her.
I would have wrapped mine too, but I ran out of time, he said sheepishly.
It’s fine, baby, she said, putting her hand on his thigh.
He smiled. Ok, ladies first.
Alright, she pulled out the paper on top revealing something wood. She looked up at him curiously before looking back down at her gift, pulling it out
It was a picture frame. The back had a big heart with the initials in it. She turned it around, her eyes growing wider.
It was a picture frame full of pictures of them.
One was from the night before he won his title; another one was a picture of them on a plane, her lying on his shoulder asleep.
The next photo was one of the two of them. She didn’t remember this one being taken. It was a picture of them standing backstage, looking into each other’s eyes in his arms.
This is…She was at a loss for words. It was beautiful. Jey, it’s it; I love it. She meant his eyes.
Good I was a little scared it was too much. I just didn’t know what to buy you, so I made you something.
Thank you. I love it. She sat up on her knees, giving him a kiss. I love you.
I love you too; now let’s see what I got.
His hands moved to her gift. She put her on top of his. No, wait, it’s not as good. Let me try again.
I don’t care what it is; I’ll love it either way.
No It’s stupid now; just let me try again. she whining
No, that defeats the point. babygirl
She sat down with a huff. Fine, but I’m going to get you a better one, I promise.
I don’t need that he said ripped up her present. Oh shit!
I just noticed that the headphones you have are bad, so it’s stupid; now I’ll get you something else.
I love it! They just went out on me the other day, so these are perfect. He put his hand on her face. I love them, he said, reassuring her.
Ok, if you like them.
I love them! She opened her mouth to say something else, but he stopped her with a kiss.
I love them now. Here he took the picture frame out of her lap and set it on the nightstand along with his headphones.
She took another look at the picture frame, seeing that it was covered in little hearts and lightning bolts and other doodles on it.
She let out a chuckle. Did you color on the frame?
We were stuck in traffic and bored, so I added some last-minute touches.
I like them; it’s cute; it adds something. She smiled.
I’m happy you do, because Jimmy was clowning my ass hard about that shit he chuckled.
I bet so she laughed. Come up here. She patted on the bed next to her. He crawled up, lying down beside her with a grin on his face.
So have you talked to Roman since Christmas? She brought her knees up, resting her arms on them.
He sucked his teeth. Nah, I’ll see him in LA. If he wants to talk, he’ll call, but I doubt he will.
Was it really that bad, my love? she said, looking down at him
Yeah, it was bullshit. He shifted, raising his arms and putting them under his head. It doesn’t matter what he thinks; I love you, and that’s not gonna change just because of him. He said, his gaze finally meeting hers, grabbing her hand. Alright?
Alright, I’m just saying, baby, I’m here if you need me, like always.
I know, but right now I need you here, Mama, he said, moving his hand from under his head behind her.
She turned the lamp off, leaving their room just barely lit by the light coming through the curtains. She laid down, pulling the blanket up over them, his arms wrapped around her waist, holding her close.
As he moved her, he slipped his hand under her hoodie, pulling a gasp from her from how cold he was. Sorry, Mama, he whispered against her head as his fingers began to trace over her tattoos.
He didn’t feel tired, his mind still on running constantly and not just about what even the fuck he had going on with Roman but with Drew.
He needed to handle that shit like now. Like Monday, he was done with Drew’s petty ass grudge he had been holding for years now.
Like you, lost, so get over it, but he can’t just let shit go like normal people, so now he is going to fix it.
Cause Roman was too busy with Solo to fix it himself, so he had to play right-hand man again.
He guessed he never stopped, huh? He didn’t realize it at the time, but he slid right back into his role, doing what was expected of him.
He didn’t want him to, but Roman still had a hold on him; he knew exactly how to make him dance.
And he did it every single time just as good as before, like nothing changed.
His fingers danced across her spine; her skin was hot under his fingertips, and her arm moved up, resting on his chest.
He felt his eyelids begin to feel heavy; the thought flooding his mind melted away with her touch, and he wrapped his arms around her, letting his eyes close.

Ellie had this terrible, terrible habit. One she told herself countless times that she would quit. But unfortunately, she never could.
You and Ellie had broken up months ago yet for some odd reason whenever she got high, which was frequently, she found herself dialing your number (one of the only ones she knew by heart) because something in her twisted, incapacitated mind craved to hear your voice.
In order to combat this, Dina made Ellie vow that she would only ever get high on the weekends or when she was feeling particularly stressed out and Ellie mostly followed through because she knew that Dina was right.
But tonight, tonight you had posted an especially scandalous picture in which you were at the beach, sitting in the sand with the straps of your bikini untied and your hand holding up the thin material that just barely covered your tits, your sun-kissed face was winking at the camera with a playful expression and she couldn’t fight the jealousy that sparked through her directed at whoever got to take that heavenly picture.
She had to get high, otherwise she was sure she’d end up punching a hole in the wall or throwing her switchblade at it, again.
She dug around in her bedside table until she found her lighter and one of her emergency pre-rolls. She clicked the lighter until the end of the rolled paper crisped up and started smoking, unveiling that familiar earthy scent.
She decided to pass the time between puffs by scrolling through your highlights and the rest of your posts. When she landed back on your beach post, the high finally hit her, along with another pang of jealousy and to nobody’s surprise, anger. “Who the..” She whispered to herself as she narrowed her eyes at the pinned comment,
abs.anderson: i saw these first 😉❤️
You had to be fucking kidding her, Abigail Anderson, that bitch of a friend you told her countless times not to worry about even though Ellie knew she liked you. Irritation overtook her and before she knew it her fingers were smashing in the digits that added up to your number.
It rang once, then twice before she heard the familiar grogginess of your voice.
“Hello?”
“Abby fucking Anderson?” She seethed.
She heard a sigh and the shuffling of your bedsheets before you answered, “Ellie, it’s...3 fucking AM. What the hell are you talking about?”
She rolled her eyes even though you couldn’t see her, “Abby Anderson, the friend I wasn’t supposed to worry about.”
“Yeah..what about her?” You sounded confused, as if you didn’t know exactly what you were doing.
“Are you fucking her?” Ellie asked impatiently.
You sighed again, “Are you high?”
“Answer me.”
“That’s none of your business.”
She rubbed her temples, you had always been so stubborn.
“I think it is my fucking business, I deserve to know.”
“Ellie, for Godsakes we broke up months ago, nothing I do should matter to you anymore. We’re over.”
“Oh yeah? Then why do you pick up every time I call?” She clicked her tongue.
“I…” You trailed off.
She had you there, despite the sour tone of your voice and angry puffs of air, you’d always always pick up whenever Ellie called.
“Does she fuck you better than me?” Ellie asked, taking another puff of the now small and burnt blunt.
“Ellie!” You gasped and she let out a raspy chuckle. “You can’t ask me something like that.”
“Is that a no?”
“It’s a none of your fucking business.”
“Ouch, good one.” She giggled. The weed was unfortunately starting to mellow out her anger and the situation almost seemed amusing.
“Fuck you, I’m hanging up—“
“I miss you.” She blurted out, she’d only just gotten you to answer and she didn’t want you to hang up yet, besides, there was a reason for her calling…
You groaned slightly, “Ellie.”
“I’m serious.” She said, even though you could hear the smile in her voice.
“Yeah, right. You miss me or the sex?” You replied, crossing your arms.
“Can’t I miss both?” She smirked, snubbing out her blunt and laying back on her worn bed.
“No. You can’t.” You scoffed.
“Come on ★, don’t be like that. I know you miss me too.” She’d whispered the last part, as if it were devilish secret.
“Yeah! I miss the dirty socks around my apartment and smelly ass hoodies you left on my bed.” You mocked.
Ellie sighed, “Really? Here I was thinking you were gonna say you miss my hands on you.”
“Ellie..” You were catching onto what she was doing and you hated to admit that it was working. Your lower belly surged at her suggestive words and your mind started to wander.
“Or the way I kissed your thighs.” She whispered.
“Ellie I—“
“Or the way you felt when my fingers were shoved into your pussy.”
Yeah, you were fucked.
Your fingers had found their way past the band of your underwear and toward your aching clit.
Ellie heard your labored breathing through the receiver and immediately registered what you were doing.
“Something wrong, ★?” She teased.
“N-no.” You bit back a moan as you moved your fingers faster around the aching nub, the raspy sound of Ellie’s voice egging you on.
“Are you sure? Cause I’m hearing a lot of..shuffling.”
“Yeah it’s… just moving—around.” You said, through laboured breaths.
“Really? Because if I didn’t know any better…I’d have guessed you were fucking yourself.”
Heat creeped up your neck and face, surely you would die of embarrassment, either at the fact that Ellie knew what you were doing or that getting caught made you gush.
“N-no. Like I said, I was just moving.”
You sounded so tense, she almost burst out laughing. Did hearing her really turn you on that much? She decided to test that theory.
“Well, it’s almost 4..you must be pretty tired. I’ll just hang up a—“
“No! Fuck Ellie, keep talking please.” You begged.
That was more like it, no more snarky responses and aloof comments. She knew she could break you, she always did.
“Yeah? You want me to keep going?” The smugness in her voice pissed you off, yet made your thighs clench at the same time. By now her phone was resting on her pillow and her own hand was shoved past her boyshorts.
You nodded before verbalizing your thoughts, “Yes, please.”
“Then tell me,” Ellie said, her legs spread wide on her bed with her while her long fingers circled her slick clit. “Does she fuck better than me?”
You hesitated, knowing whatever you answered with would open a whole other can of worms that you didn’t particularly feel like dealing with.
Unfortunately, you didn’t answer fast enough for Ellie’s liking.
“Hmm. Okay, hanging up.”
“No!” You blurted, you could feel your climax approaching and as much as you hated to admit it, hearing Ellie’s voice, beginning to sound as fucked out as you were, along with the faint squelch of her playing with herself were the only things that would get you there.
A lazy smile tugged at her face, “No she doesn’t fuck better than me? Or no you don’t want me to hang—“
“No. She doesn’t fuck better than you.” You finally admitted.
While her ego swelled and another gush of wetness left her, Ellie wasn’t sure whether to be upset by the confirmation that you and Abby were indeed fucking or to be joyous that she was better in bed than her.
She decided on the latter when she heard a strained whine come from your end of the line.
“Fuck baby I wish I was there with you right now.” She sighed the callus of her finger rubbing against her clit deliciously.
“What would—shit—what would you do?”
Her brain still hazy from her high sputtered as she tried to think back to when the two of you were together, and what drove you absolutely crazy.
A smirk creeped its way onto her face as she rasped into the phone, “I’d start slow, kiss you the way I know you like while my hands play with your tits.”
Your free hand trailed up to your chest, rolling one of your nipples between your fingers. You scrunched your eyes closed, imagining it was Ellie’s warm, rough hand instead of your own.
“Then,” she continued. “I’d move lower, and suck on those perfect nipples of yours.”
A quiet moan escaped you, you could practically feel her wet tongue glide across your tits. You decided that your fingers weren’t doing enough and reached over to your bedside table to pull out your small blue vibrator.
Ellie heard the faint click and buzz and let out a quiet chuckle at the familiar sound before following suit.
You kept the setting low as you held it against your swollen bud, waiting for Ellie to continue.
She spoke through soft gasps, the incessant vibrations on her pussy making her buck agaisng the toy, she could feel her climax approaching and she was getting impatient.
“Then I’d kiss down your hips, leaving marks here and there so that bitch knows your mine. Then when I get to that slutty pussy of yours I’d take you in my mouth, rolling my tongue against your clit over and over. Until the only thing you could say was my name.”
You upped the setting, practically humping the toy at this point as the image of Ellie, bent in front of you, abusing your cunt with her tongue filtered through your head.
“Ohmygod. ‘m s-so close, Ellie.” You repeated her name like a mantra and the sound was music to her ears as she upped the vibrator to its highest setting, tears pricking at her eyes at the overwhelming pleasure as she circled her needy clit.
She was oh so close, but she needed to hear you say something first.
“Who’s—fuck me—pussy is that?” She all but gasped into the phone.
Your response was delayed from how lost you were in your own pleasure, “W-what?”
“Who’s pussy is that?” She repeated.
She was ridiculous! and if it weren’t for how desperately you wanted to come you would’ve told her so, but you were getting tired and if you didn’t come soon you were certain you would die.
“Yours! Fuck Ellie, it’s yours, always.” You cried.
As soon as those sweet words hit her ears her orgasm crashed into her, her cunt spasmed as she bucked up into the vibrator. Her high tripling the waves of pleasure that rocked over her and tears streamed down her cheeks while quiet moans and slurred curses rolled out of her.
She heard when you reached yours, quiet whimpers followed by loud curse filtered through her speakers and she could practically see what you looked like; your brows scrunched up and eyes half open while your jaw hung slack, your swollen lips slick with salvia and back arched as you twitched against the vibrator before slumping into your soft sheets.
For the next few minutes neither of you said anything, allowing each other to recover. After a while of hearing nothing but her quiet breaths, you were sure Ellie had fallen asleep, and made to grab your phone so that you could hang up.
Right before you could press the red end call button, she spoke up.
“I still love you.” Her voice was small, and the difference between it now and just 20 minutes ago almost made you laugh.
“Ellie…” You sighed, you were so certain of your break up with her. The two of you were on and off for months before you officially broke things off and you’d felt so relieved in the moment.
Abby had been there for you, she’d comforted you and supported you and was an almost perfect lover. But a tiny, twisted part of you still ached for Ellie’s touch.
“I’m with Abby now.” You whispered almost imperceptibly.
“I know,” She spoke softly. “But I know you still love me too.”
You went quiet, uncertainty quelled in your heart. Did you still love her? Or was the high from your orgasm still clouding your brain. You tried your best to remember the lowest points during your relationship with her but nothing came to mind.
Only her gentle hands, soft eyes, and warm kisses.
You scrunched your eyes shut, you couldn’t believe yourself. You were dating another woman, a woman who loved you dearly, and yet here you were, almost ready to admit your love for someone else, for your ex. Could you be any more pathetic?
“Ellie. I think you should stop cal—“
“Baby?”
Your thumb jammed against the end button so quickly your phone slipped out of your hand and fell on the floor with a loud clatter.
Abby peeked her head into the door, her long blonde braid loose from a long shift at the hospital and quick after work gym session. “You’re still up?”
“Uh—yeah, couldn’t sleep.” You lied.
She took in your form, a suggestive smile playing on her lips.
Your heart raced as she approached the bed and leaned down to kiss your cheek, your entire body tensed.
“Looks like somebody missed me.” She nodded at your discarded vibrator, practically mocking you from its place on your sheets.
You gave her a small smile, “I…we need to talk.”

DC Comics Characters x Fem!OC
You hurt yourself doing home renovations
Characters: Bruce Wayne, Kal-El (Clark Kent), Barry Allen, Diana of Themyscira, Arthur Curry, Hal Jordan, Oliver Queen, John Constantine, Roy Harper, Koriand'r (Starfire), Kara Zor-El (Supergirl), Slade Wilson, Kent Nelson (Dr. Fate), Rachel Roth, Zatanna Zatara & Wally West
Bruce Wayne aka. Batman
- Bruce notices the injury immediately; his sharp, calculating eyes miss nothing. “You’re hurt,” he says, his tone low but with an edge of worry that only someone close to him might detect. He takes your hand gently but firmly, examining the bandage with the practiced ease of someone who’s patched himself up countless times. “What happened?” he asks, his voice even, though his jaw tightens. You explain it was a minor accident during your renovation project, but he doesn’t look convinced.
- Without a word, Bruce retrieves a medical kit and kneels in front of you. His movements are efficient, his touch steady but surprisingly gentle. “This could’ve been worse,” he says as he rewraps the bandage, his voice tinged with a seriousness that makes your heart ache. “You need to be more careful.” It’s not just a suggestion—it’s a command born of a deep fear he rarely voices.
- “I’m helping you finish this,” he declares, standing and rolling up his sleeves. His presence is commanding, as always, and there’s no room for argument. Watching Bruce work is like watching a master strategist; every movement is calculated, every decision deliberate. Despite his seriousness, he pauses occasionally to ask if you’re okay, his concern manifesting in small but meaningful ways.
- As you work together, Bruce’s reserved demeanor softens slightly. He shares stories from his own mishaps at Wayne Manor, a rare glimpse into the man behind the mask. “Alfred still teases me about the time I tried to fix a chandelier,” he says, a faint smile tugging at his lips. It’s in these moments that you see the man behind the Bat—the man who loves you fiercely, even if he struggles to show it.
- That evening, as you sit in the newly completed space, Bruce wraps an arm around your shoulders. “You mean everything to me,” he says quietly, his voice filled with a rare vulnerability. “I can’t lose you.” He presses a kiss to your forehead, his lips warm and firm against your skin. Bruce’s love is steadfast, protective, and unyielding—a shield against the darkness that surrounds him.
Kal-El (Clark Kent) aka. Superman
- Clark’s face falls the moment he notices your injury. “What happened?” he asks, his voice filled with concern. His large, gentle hands take yours, his thumb brushing softly against the bandage. When you explain it was just a small accident during your renovation, his brow furrows in worry. “You should’ve called me,” he says, his voice warm but firm. “I would’ve been here in seconds.”
- He insists on checking your hand, his touch impossibly gentle. “I know it’s not serious, but even small injuries can hurt,” he says, his blue eyes meeting yours with a tenderness that makes your heart swell. As he examines the wound, his movements are deliberate, careful—a reflection of the restraint he always practices to keep his immense strength in check.
- “I’m not letting you finish this alone,” Clark declares, his easy smile returning. Watching him work is a sight to behold—his strength and speed make quick work of the tasks, but he’s careful to include you in the process. “You know, you’re pretty amazing for taking this on yourself,” he says, his admiration clear. “But maybe next time, let me do the heavy lifting.”
- Clark fills the room with his presence, his laughter ringing out as he shares stories of his childhood on the farm. “Pa used to say I could fix anything, but I don’t think he meant it literally,” he jokes, his grin infectious. His positivity is contagious, turning the task into a joyful experience rather than a chore.
- As the day winds down, Clark pulls you into his arms, holding you close as if you’re the most precious thing in the world. “You scared me today,” he admits, his voice soft. “You’re my world, and I can’t stand the thought of you getting hurt.” His love is vast and unwavering, a force of nature as steady and comforting as the sun.
Barry Allen aka. Flash
- Barry is at your side before you even realize he’s noticed your injury. “Hey, what’s this?” he asks, his voice tinged with concern as he gently lifts your hand. His blue eyes dart to the bandage, then back to your face. “You’ve been holding out on me, haven’t you?” he teases, but his worry is evident. “How’d this happen?”
- In a blur, he’s retrieved the first aid kit, his hands moving at super-speed to clean and rewrap your wound. “Don’t worry, you’re in good hands,” he says with a wink, though his focus is absolute. Barry’s always been quick—literally and emotionally—but when it comes to you, he takes his time, ensuring every detail is perfect. “You’ve got to let me know when you need help,” he says, his tone soft but sincere.
- “Alright, you’re officially benched,” Barry announces with a grin. “I’m finishing this for you.” He’s a whirlwind of energy as he tackles the project, moving so fast that you can barely keep track. But he makes sure to slow down just enough to include you, cracking jokes and asking your opinion at every step.
- Barry’s lighthearted nature turns the renovation into a fun adventure. “You know, if this whole superhero thing doesn’t work out, I might have a future in carpentry,” he says, laughing as he perfectly aligns a frame in a fraction of a second. His joy is infectious, and you find yourself smiling despite the day’s earlier chaos.
- At the end of the day, Barry pulls you into his arms, his touch warm and reassuring. “You’re my lightning rod,” he says softly, his words carrying the weight of his feelings. “I need you safe, always.” His love is fast and electrifying, but it’s also deeply grounding—a steady current that ties him to you, no matter how quickly the world moves around him.
Diana of Themyscira aka. Wonder Woman
- Diana’s gaze sharpens the moment she sees your bandaged hand. “What happened?” she asks, her voice steady but filled with concern. She moves closer, taking your hand in hers with a warrior’s precision and a lover’s tenderness. When you explain the accident, she frowns, her lips pressing into a determined line. “You should have called for me,” she says, her voice soft but firm.
- She kneels before you, her hands strong yet gentle as she examines your injury. “Even the smallest wounds must be treated with care,” she says, her tone carrying the wisdom of centuries. As she cleans and rewraps the bandage, her movements are deliberate, each one filled with a quiet reverence for your well-being. “Your safety matters to me,” she adds, her eyes meeting yours with unwavering sincerity.
- “Come,” Diana says, rising gracefully to her feet. “We will finish this together.” She takes the lead with effortless strength and grace, her presence commanding yet reassuring. Watching her work is mesmerizing; every movement is precise, every decision thoughtful. “This is good work you’ve started,” she says, her voice warm with pride. “But let me ease your burden.”
- Diana shares stories of Themyscira as you work, her voice rich with history and passion. “On my island, we build with our hands and our hearts,” she says, her smile radiant. “Each task is an opportunity to honor the strength within us.” Her words inspire you, her belief in your capabilities unwavering.
- That evening, Diana draws you into a gentle embrace, her arms strong and protective. “You are precious to me,” she says, her voice a soft melody. “I cannot bear the thought of you in pain.” She presses a kiss to your forehead, her lips lingering as if to seal her vow. Diana’s love is fierce and enduring, a flame that burns brightly and warmly, illuminating every corner of your heart.
Arthur Curry aka. Aquaman
- Arthur notices the bandage on your hand the moment he walks through the door, his sharp, sea-green eyes narrowing in concern. “What happened, love?” he asks, his deep voice steady but tinged with worry. When you explain the accident, he shakes his head with a low chuckle. “You’re as stubborn as the tides, you know that?” he says, though his expression softens as he takes your hand in his rough but gentle grip.
- “Let me see,” he says, his tone leaving no room for argument. He inspects your injury carefully, his calloused fingers brushing against your skin. “It’s not bad, but you’ve got to be more careful,” he mutters, his voice filled with a protective edge. Arthur’s care is practical, but there’s an underlying tenderness that speaks volumes about how deeply he feels for you.
- “Alright, you’re done for the day,” he declares, folding his arms across his broad chest. “I’ll handle the rest.” Despite your protests, Arthur’s determination is unyielding. Watching him work is a marvel; his strength makes heavy tasks look effortless, but he’s surprisingly meticulous, his movements precise and deliberate. “This is easy compared to wrangling sea monsters,” he teases, flashing you a grin.
- As he works, Arthur regales you with tales of Atlantis, his deep voice resonating like the waves. “Did I ever tell you about the time Mera and I rebuilt the coral spires after a storm?” he asks, his laughter rumbling like distant thunder. His stories are vivid and captivating, his love for his home—and for you—evident in every word.
- That evening, Arthur pulls you into his arms, his embrace as warm and encompassing as the ocean itself. “You scared me,” he admits, his voice low and serious. “You’re my anchor, and I can’t bear to see you hurt.” He presses a kiss to your forehead, his lips lingering as if to soothe away all your worries. Arthur’s love is as vast and enduring as the sea, a force of nature that surrounds and protects you.
Hal Jordan aka. Green Lantern
- Hal’s easygoing demeanor shifts the moment he notices the bandage on your hand. “What’s this?” he asks, his voice filled with concern as he takes your hand gently. His green eyes scan the wound, his expression a mix of worry and amusement. “Didn’t anyone ever tell you not to play with sharp objects?” he teases, though his grip tightens protectively.
- “Alright, let me play doctor,” he says with a wink, summoning a glowing green construct of a first aid kit. Hal’s touch is careful as he rewraps your bandage, his usual bravado giving way to surprising precision. “You’ve got to be more careful,” he says softly, his tone carrying a weight that shows how much he cares.
- “Looks like I’m your personal handyman today,” Hal declares, conjuring a glowing hammer with a flourish. He tackles the project with his trademark confidence, his constructs turning the mundane task into something almost magical. “See? Easy,” he says, flashing you a cocky grin. “You’ve got the best in the business on your side.”
- As he works, Hal keeps you entertained with his endless banter and larger-than-life stories. “There was this one time on Oa…” he begins, spinning a tale that’s equal parts unbelievable and hilarious. His humor lightens the atmosphere, and his laughter is infectious, making even the simplest moments feel special.
- Later, as you sit together under the soft glow of his ring, Hal wraps an arm around you, pulling you close. “You know, you’re my reason to keep coming back to Earth,” he says, his voice uncharacteristically serious. “I don’t want anything happening to you.” His love is like his willpower—unshakable, glowing brightly and guiding you through even the darkest times.
Oliver Queen aka. Green Arrow
- “Whoa, hold up—what happened to your hand?” Oliver asks, his sharp gaze landing on your bandaged injury. Before you can brush it off, he’s already by your side, gently taking your hand in his. “You didn’t think to call me?” he teases, though his voice carries a hint of genuine worry. “I could’ve handled this in no time.”
- He grabs the first aid kit, his hands surprisingly deft as he unwraps and rebandages your wound. “You’ve got to be more careful, beautiful,” he says, his voice soft but firm. “I can’t have you sidelined—you’re my best partner, after all.” His touch is light, but the protective edge in his tone makes it clear how much he cares.
- “Alright, step aside. The Green Arrow is on the job,” Oliver says, flashing you a trademark smirk. Watching him work is an experience in itself—he’s efficient and surprisingly skilled, despite his playful demeanor. “Bet you didn’t know I was handy with a hammer, huh?” he jokes, his grin lighting up the room.
- Oliver keeps the mood light with his constant humor and quick wit. “You know, I once tried to fix a broken bowstring and ended up snapping three more,” he says, laughing at the memory. His charm is irresistible, and he has a way of making even the most tedious tasks feel fun and exciting.
- As the evening winds down, Oliver pulls you into his lap, wrapping his arms around you. “You scared me today,” he admits, his voice low and serious. “I’ve lost enough people in my life—I’m not losing you too.” He kisses your forehead, his lips warm and lingering. Oliver’s love is bold, passionate, and unwavering, a constant in your life that leaves you feeling cherished and protected.
John Constantine aka. Hellblazer
- John notices the injury immediately, his sharp eyes narrowing as he takes a long drag from his cigarette. “What’s this, then?” he asks, his voice a mix of concern and irritation. He steps closer, taking your hand in his surprisingly gentle grip. “Bloody hell, love, you’ve got to take better care of yourself,” he mutters, his usual sarcasm tempered by genuine worry.
- He doesn’t bother with a first aid kit—instead, he mutters a few words in Latin, and a faint glow surrounds your hand. “There, good as new,” he says with a smirk, though his eyes linger on you with a rare softness. “Don’t make me have to fix you up like this again, yeah?” he adds, his tone light but edged with seriousness.
- “Right, let’s see what mess you’ve gotten yourself into,” John says, surveying the unfinished renovation. He rolls up his sleeves and gets to work, grumbling under his breath but surprisingly competent. “Don’t look so shocked—I’m full of surprises,” he says with a wink.
- As he works, John keeps up a steady stream of sardonic commentary and darkly humorous anecdotes. “This reminds me of the time I tried to patch up a hole in my flat’s wall. Ended up summoning a demon instead,” he quips, his dry humor making you laugh despite yourself. His presence, though chaotic, is oddly reassuring.
- Later, as you both sit in the dim light, John lights another cigarette, his gaze softening as he looks at you. “You’ve got to be more careful, love,” he says quietly. “I’ve got enough demons to fight—I don’t need to be worrying about losing you too.” His love is raw, messy, and laced with his own brand of charm, but it’s as real and unshakable as the man himself.
Roy Harper aka. Arsenal
- Roy notices your bandaged hand the moment he steps in. “What the hell happened?” he asks, his voice laced with concern, though his trademark smirk softens the words. He takes your hand gently, his calloused fingers brushing against yours. “You didn’t think to call me? I’m literally a pro at making bad decisions—and patching them up after.”
- “Alright, sit tight,” he says, pulling out a first aid kit with a flourish. His movements are surprisingly precise, honed from years of taking care of himself and others. “This isn’t bad, but next time, maybe call me before you go all DIY warrior,” he jokes, though the worry in his eyes betrays his casual tone.
- Roy insists on helping you finish the project, despite your protests. “What kind of boyfriend would I be if I let you do this alone?” he says, grabbing a hammer with an exaggerated show of confidence. His work is a mix of skill and chaos—he’s good at what he does, but his playful energy keeps things unpredictable.
- As you work together, Roy’s humor keeps you laughing. “You know, I once tried to fix a broken bow. Ended up breaking three more,” he says, grinning at the memory. He’s full of stories, each one more absurd than the last, but they’re all delivered with a charm that makes you forget about the mess around you.
- Later, as you both sit back to admire the (somewhat chaotic) results, Roy pulls you close, his arm slung around your shoulders. “You mean the world to me, you know that?” he says, his voice softer than usual. “Don’t scare me like that again, alright?” His love is messy but wholehearted, a constant reminder that you’re his anchor in a turbulent world.
Koriand’r aka. Starfire
- Kori’s luminous green eyes widen in concern when she sees your bandaged hand. “Oh no, my love, what has happened?” she asks, taking your hand delicately in hers. Her warmth radiates through her touch as she examines the wound. “Does it pain you? Please, tell me how I can help.”
- She gently kisses your hand, her lips soft and glowing faintly. “On Tamaran, we believe healing begins with love,” she says, her voice filled with sincerity. She insists on tending to the injury herself, her movements careful and deliberate. Her concern is almost palpable, her love for you evident in every action.
- Kori is eager to assist with your project, her strength and enthusiasm turning what could have been a chore into an exciting adventure. “Let us work together,” she says, her smile bright enough to light up the room. Watching her lift heavy beams effortlessly and handle tools with childlike curiosity is both impressive and endearing.
- As you work side by side, Kori shares stories of her home planet. “On Tamaran, we build homes with our families, singing songs of unity and joy,” she says, her voice rich with nostalgia. Her passion for her culture and her desire to share it with you make the task feel meaningful and connected.
- At the end of the day, Kori pulls you into her embrace, her warmth enveloping you like sunlight. “You are my heart,” she says softly, her glowing eyes meeting yours. “I cannot bear the thought of you in pain.” She kisses your forehead tenderly, her love as radiant and boundless as the stars she comes from.
Kara Zor-El aka. Supergirl
- Kara’s superhuman senses catch your injury before you even try to hide it. “Wait—what happened to your hand?” she asks, her tone a mix of concern and mild panic. She’s by your side in an instant, her blue eyes scanning your bandage with laser-like focus. “You didn’t think to call me? I could’ve been here in a second!”
- She insists on checking your injury, her touch gentle despite her immense strength. “It’s not too bad, but I’m still worried,” she admits, biting her lip as she adjusts the bandage. “Next time, promise me you’ll let me help, okay?” Her voice is firm but filled with a tenderness that makes your heart melt.
- Kara takes over the renovation project with her usual enthusiasm, zipping around at super-speed to get things done. “This is so much easier than stopping meteors,” she jokes, flashing you a bright smile. Despite her incredible abilities, she makes sure to include you, asking for your input and slowing down to let you participate.
- As you work, Kara shares stories of Krypton, her voice filled with a mixture of sadness and pride. “Back home, we had machines to do most of this,” she says, a wistful smile crossing her face. “But I think there’s something special about doing it with your own hands—especially when it’s for someone you love.”
- Later, Kara wraps you in a warm hug, her strength carefully restrained but her affection boundless. “You’re my connection to this world,” she says softly, resting her forehead against yours. “I don’t want anything to happen to you.” Her love is like sunlight—pure, strong, and life-giving, a constant source of warmth and light in your life.
Slade Wilson aka. Deathstroke
- Slade notices your injury immediately, his single eye narrowing as he steps closer. “What happened?” he asks, his voice low and commanding. He takes your hand in his gloved one, his touch surprisingly gentle as he examines the bandage. “You’ve been careless,” he says, though his tone carries more concern than reprimand.
- Without a word, Slade pulls out a compact medical kit, his movements precise and efficient. “You should have called me,” he mutters, his focus entirely on your wound. “I don’t like seeing you hurt.” His care is methodical, almost clinical, but the way his fingers linger just slightly on your skin betrays his deeper feelings.
- Slade insists on taking over the renovation, his natural leadership coming through as he assesses the task. “Stand back,” he says, rolling up his sleeves. Watching him work is like watching a soldier in action—every movement calculated, every decision deliberate. “This isn’t my first time fixing something broken,” he quips, his dry humor catching you off guard.
- As he works, Slade shares fragments of his past, his gravelly voice tinged with a rare vulnerability. “This reminds me of when I used to build things with my son,” he says, his expression briefly softening. The glimpses of his humanity remind you of the man beneath the hardened exterior, the man who loves you in his own quiet, fierce way.
- Later, Slade pulls you close, his arm heavy and protective around your shoulders. “You’ve got to be more careful,” he says, his voice a low growl. “I’ve lost too much already—I’m not losing you.” He kisses your forehead briefly but firmly, his love intense and unyielding, like the man himself—a force that shields you from the world’s dangers, even as he battles his own demons.
Kent Nelson aka. Doctor Fate
- Kent’s piercing eyes behind the shimmering Helmet of Fate immediately fixate on your injured hand. “What have you done, my love?” he asks, his voice a blend of the mystical and the concerned. Without hesitation, he removes the helmet, his human side taking precedence. His hands, warm and steady, gently cradle yours as he inspects the wound.
- “This is a simple injury,” he murmurs, his voice calm but resolute. “But even the smallest wounds can lead to chaos if left untended.” A golden light surrounds his hand as he softly incants an ancient spell. The pain fades, replaced by a soothing warmth, though Kent remains watchful. “You must remember, you are precious to me beyond measure.”
- When he sees the half-finished renovation, Kent sighs softly. “It seems I have another task to tend to,” he says with a faint smile. With a wave of his hand, the room begins to shift and transform, guided by his mystical prowess. “Though I prefer to use magic sparingly, I believe this situation calls for a touch of Fate,” he teases lightly.
- As the room repairs itself under his guidance, Kent tells you stories of the endless mystic realms he has traversed. “In the realm of Amathur, they build their homes from living crystal, attuned to their souls,” he says, his voice carrying the weight of eons. His stories are mesmerizing, painting a picture of a universe far beyond your imagination.
- That evening, as the golden glow of his magic fades, Kent pulls you close, his mortal and immortal selves blending seamlessly in his affection for you. “You ground me, even amidst the chaos of the cosmos,” he whispers. “Do not let harm come to you, for you are my anchor to this world.” His love is profound and eternal, like the ancient forces he commands.
Rachel Roth aka. Raven
- Rachel notices the bandage immediately, her dark, violet eyes narrowing. “What happened?” she asks, her voice calm but laced with quiet concern. She steps closer, her fingers brushing against yours lightly. “You didn’t think to tell me?” she adds, her tone carrying just a hint of exasperation masked by worry.
- A soft, dark aura emanates from her hands as she murmurs a healing spell. “Let me take away the pain,” she says softly, her magic soothing the injury. “But next time, be more careful.” Her words are firm, but the tenderness in her actions speaks volumes about her love for you.
- Rachel insists on helping with the renovation, though her approach is unconventional. Using her magic, she levitates tools and materials, fixing everything with an eerie precision. “Why struggle when there’s an easier way?” she quips, a rare hint of humor gracing her usually serious demeanor.
- As she works, Rachel shares pieces of her past, her voice quiet but steady. “I used to dream of having a home like this—something stable, something real,” she admits. Her vulnerability in those moments is a reminder of the strength it takes for her to let you in, to allow herself to love and be loved.
- Later, as the room takes on a serene, almost otherworldly perfection, Rachel sits with you in the quiet. “I’m not used to caring this much,” she confesses, her voice barely above a whisper. “But you… you’ve shown me that it’s okay to let someone in.” Her love is deep and shadowed, like the magic she wields—powerful, transformative, and utterly consuming.
Zatanna Zatara aka. Zatanna
- “What’s this?” Zatanna asks, her sharp blue eyes immediately noticing your bandaged hand. She sets down her wand and takes your hand in hers, her touch warm and gentle. “You’ve been playing with tools without supervision, haven’t you?” she teases, though her concern is clear.
- “Let me fix this,” she says with a wink. She waves her hand, her words spoken backward as a soft, golden light surrounds your injury. “Esael ruoy niaP,” she says, and the pain dissipates. “Much better,” she adds with a playful smile. “But seriously, call me next time.”
- Zatanna insists on finishing the renovation with you, though her methods are far from ordinary. “Why use a hammer when you have magic?” she says, summoning tools and materials with a flick of her wrist. The room transforms under her guidance, every detail touched with a bit of theatrical flair.
- As she works, Zatanna keeps you entertained with stories of her performances and her magical adventures. “There was this one time in Paris where my spell accidentally turned an entire café into a circus,” she says, laughing. Her humor and charisma make even the mundane feel magical, her presence a constant source of joy.
- That night, as the newly restored room glows with a faint magical shimmer, Zatanna pulls you into her arms. “You’re my favorite audience,” she says softly, her voice filled with affection. “Don’t ever scare me like that again, okay?” Her love is vibrant and enchanting, a spell that binds you to her in the most wonderful way.
Wally West aka. Flash
- Wally zips into the room and immediately notices your hand. “Whoa, whoa, whoa—what happened here?” he asks, his words coming almost as fast as he moves. He’s by your side in an instant, gently taking your injured hand in his. “Why didn’t you call me? I could’ve been here in seconds!”
- He rushes to grab a first aid kit, moving so quickly you barely see him leave. “You’ve got to be more careful,” he says as he carefully rewraps your bandage. Despite his speed, his touch is gentle, his eyes full of concern. “Promise me you’ll let me help next time, okay?”
- Wally insists on finishing the renovation, his super-speed turning the task into a blur of activity. “This is easy,” he says with a grin, fixing things faster than you can even follow. “But hey, don’t blink—you might miss my best work!” His enthusiasm is infectious, making the entire process feel like a game.
- As he works, Wally keeps you laughing with his endless jokes and stories. “Did I ever tell you about the time I outran a black hole?” he says, his grin widening. His energy is boundless, his humor a constant source of lightness and joy in your life.
- Later, as the room stands perfectly completed, Wally pulls you close, his usual hyperactivity giving way to a rare moment of stillness. “You’re my world,” he says softly, his voice steady and sincere. “I can’t imagine life without you.” His love is like his speed—unstoppable, all-encompassing, and always rushing to your side.

Here For You - Emily Prentiss
Masterlist
Summary : Emily claims she doing fine after everything she's been through but you know the truth and you let her know you're here for her.

Word count : 1.2k
French version (will be posted 5/01/2025 at 9pm)
Song inspiration : Let Me by Jade LeMac
Comfortably in Morpheus’ arms, you turn around and unconsciously start searching for Emily’s arms without any success. With difficulty, you open one eye and find an empty spot next to you, lightly illuminated by the corridor light. Not knowing where your girlfriend is, you quickly get out of bed. Since she came back from the dead, Emily acts differently which is understandable, but it also means you’re even more stressed than before. Emily has always been secretive, now it’s just worse. You can’t decipher her anymore and you fear the worst. You trot around, following the light and you find Emily in the kitchen, her back facing you. You hear sniffing as soon as you call her name.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you up.” Emily says, faking a smile.
“Everything alright?”
“Yeah, I was just thirsty.”
“Did you have another nightmare?” you ask her, worried.
“No, it’s been two weeks since my last one as you know.”
“You know, you shouldn’t feel ashamed if you still have some, especially after what you’ve been through.”
“Please, don’t start,” she sharply retorts. “I’m already seeing my therapist tomorrow, it’s enough… Sorry, I didn’t mean to be harsh.” She then adds with a softer tone.
“It’s okay.”
“I was just thirsty.” Emily affirms, putting her glass in the sink though you can see right through her. “I’m fine, I swear. Let’s go to sleep.”
Without replying, you take her hand she’s holding out and you walk back to your shared room. As you lay in bed, Emily gets closer to you and puts her head on your chest. It’s a habit she has had since she came back. Emily needs to hear your heartbeats to make sure she isn’t alone. Emily’s muscles relax when you start stroking her hair. The second Emily’s head gets heavier, you finally allow yourself to fall asleep, holding her close to you as if she’d disappear in the next second.
Yet, this is what happens the next morning. Emily left earlier because she has therapy before going on a case. You sigh, noticing her absence, though you know it’s for the best. It reassures you to know Emily is talking to a professional after everything that’s happened, you just wished she would have said goodbye before leaving.
You try to regain control of your emotions during work. You have to take care of a class of thirty seven-year-old students, you have to be focused. However, it doesn’t mean you don’t check your phone at every occasion, hoping to see a text from Emily.
It’s at the end of the day, after you finished eating, that your girlfriend finally calls you and without wasting a second, you pick up the phone.
“Hey, Em’, how are you? Is the case complicated?”
“Always a bit at the beginning, but we have some leads. What about you? How was your day?”
“Oh, you know, I had to explain the same thing fifteen times, a kid sneezed on my sweatshirt and another one said I was pretty even if I was old. Nothing new.” you say lightly while Emily laughs.
“Another eventful day.”
“How did it go with your therapist?”
“She said everything was alright, she cleared me for work.” she informs you after taking a breath.
“Good. I mean, if it’s the truth.” you add and you can feel Emily rolling her eyes. “I know you, Em’, I know how you struggle to admit it to me when you have a nightmare so I guess it’s harder for you to tell your therapist.”
“It doesn’t affect my job, even Hotch said so.”
“I’m not saying otherwise…” you start carefully, “Look, I know I’d never be able to understand what you went through but I know one doesn't get over this that quickly. You’re allowed to not be okay, to struggle to move on.”
“I’m getting my life back.” she retorts.
“I know and I’m not saying you don’t, however Emily, you only worry about how Derek, Penelope, Spencer and everyone else around you feels since you came back but you don’t worry about the most important person. You. And I’m here for you, to support you. I’m not saying I’ll always have the right words, nonetheless I’ll do my best. You can come to me when you’re not okay.”
“I’m okay.” Emily repeats with a neutral tone.
“Your shrink might believe you when you say it but I know the truth. Emily, stop pushing away the people who love you. Stop pushing me away. You don’t have to go through this alone, especially when you can’t ignore what happened. Let me be here for you.”
Emily stays silent, only her breathing breaks the silence. You hear another voice coming from her end though can’t make out what they’re saying then Emily clears her throat.
“I have to go. I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
Emily hangs up and you sigh with tears in your eyes. You don’t know if what you said will make Emily react, you hope it will. You can’t handle this situation anymore. You know she needs support but how can you do it when she doesn’t ask for it? You don’t like this feeling of powerlessness. You wish you could take all of her scars so she could finally live freely.
Throughout the case, Emily keeps her distance. She only sends you a text once a day to say she loves you, a habit you’ve had since the beginning of your relationship. Considering her risky job, you never stay a day without saying it to each other, more particularly since Doyle happened. However, when you reply to her message and you try to create a conversation, she quickly cuts it off.
The more the days go by and the more worried you are for Emily. Something is wrong, you’re sure about it. You wish you could check on her, however you don’t want to be too overbearing. If you keep insisting you might do the opposite of what you want by creating an anxious atmosphere for Emily; therefore, you try to stay at a good distance, close enough to support her but far enough so she doesn’t push you away.
As a way to distract yourself, you put all your energy on your work, redoing your lessons, correcting exercises. It only works for so long, your mind quickly finds a way to make you think about Emily.
One evening, about a week after Emily left, you’re at the kitchen table, working and eating when you hear the door opening and a bag loudly falling on the ground. Without waiting, you put down your fork and go toward the entrance rapidly. There, you find Emily with sad eyes. You’re about to talk though she beats you to it.
“I’m not okay.” she admits with a trembling voice.
And in a split second, she burst into tears. You run to her and hold her against you, trying to soothe her. You can tell her legs aren’t supporting her anymore, so you make Emily sit down on the floor while keeping her close. You tenderly stroke her hair and whisper sweet nothings. Emily’s tears run down her cheeks more and more while instinctively she puts her ear against your chest and listens to your heartbeats. In your arms, Emily finally allows herself to let go of all her emotions and to face all the pain she went through. You both know it’ll take time for Emily to heal but you’ll make sure to be here for her and to support her every step of the way.
